This is a great compilation for the local australian public especially for those who have autistic children. Autism affects more than 1 million children and adults in the United States, and parents may be confused by the behavior of autistic children. This will be very helpful as most websites contain information of overseas organisations such as the north american and european organisations. It offers practical advice on how to educate children as well as insights on helping people with autism use their strengths to maximize their potential in life.

Thank you for the good work in this article. I found this article very helpful. I will definitely recommend this.

This article is so timely for us at the moment for my son who is struggling with a changing workplace and a new boss who has no understanding of fragile x. It is written in an ideal fashion to assist in the workplace. thank you.

In comparison to Makaton I think Auslan has evolved from the sign languages brought to Australia during the nineteenth century from Britain and Ireland. Its grammar and vocabulary is different from English. It is not the creation of any one person. It is a natural language that has developed over time.

I have two grown children with different Disabilities. While a test now would not cure them it would be interesting to know we made the right decision not to have more. And maybe assist others to come to a decision of weather to have children at all. Not for genesis reasons but lifestyle choices. While having a family is no guarantee of a lifestyle, having family members with a disability changes options in so many areas of your daily life, right down to your friends and even family and partner options. It can be like moving to a new country, language not being the only barrier to overcome.
