Have a great weekend everyone!

I would very much like to do two color comics a week, but I’m just not sure I can currently handle that. I think my style has improved, but in improving its become a bit more time consuming, so while the final product looks better it takes more time to get to that point. I could potentially do one color and one black and white a week, but that seems a bit of a cop out.

In any case, sorry for the delay, hopefully a new comic on Tuesday here, and maybe (hopefully) Friday as well!

I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve had a long weekend really, and it didn’t help at all with the heat…In fact, that’s what inspired this comic, I just had to do it. XD And worse, it continued later today even, so its still too hot to sleep, lol.

In any case! Here’s one of the many songs that inspired me this week, it was a tough choice:

Alex Clare – Up All Night

Funny thing is, with this one, the video combined with the music is what did it. I’m not sure what it is, but whenever I hear it I just want to break into a run during the chorus. It really gets me excited to work on things.

Whew…Finally… XP

Apparently, Photoshop does not like me coloring FW’s ear, as it crashed EVERY TIME I tried to do that, making me lose about half an hour of work. And when you’re already low on time… XP

Anyway! Seems like Lex is trying to help FW out with his project with Bee. Maybe? Who knows, its hard to tell with that fox. Then again maybe he’s trying to make up for the earlier…Incident? Is that a good word for it? XD

Really, most everything by this guy is great! I just listened to a ton of his music while working on the comic today, it really helped me get through it.

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been doing well.

I’ve not been handling things too well around here. I’ve been lax on updates, and honestly haven’t felt like putting pen to virtual paper for quite a while now; my dad being in and out of the hospital, our (my family’s) dog having to be put down, money troubles…I hate having to skip updates due to my physical/emotional state, but it can’t be helped really. I could keep you all more informed, but I don’t like complaining about things really.

I was feeling pretty down the other day, and happened to run across a cover from a song from a game I’d played through, “To the Moon”, and it just got to me. I haven’t had such a heart wrenching moment in quite a while, and I couldn’t help but try to draw something based off of it. Surprisingly, it didn’t turn out as melancholy as I was feeling, in fact it turned out rather cheery and hopeful, which is surprising…I just can’t seem to help it when it comes to FW and the others; they just bring a smile to my face whenever I think of them.

I’m going to keep trying, despite things going on around me. Short steps, one at a time.

Its not a new comic, but… XP Its Zal from my KH comic here.

Its been a while since I’ve drawn him. Even though I haven’t gotten too far into the comic drawing-wise, I have it basically planned out to the end, and there’s a lot I’d like to show. I have special moves/attacks for most everyone involved, as well as exactly how their weapons operate and their strengths and weaknesses.

I’ve been debating calling Zal’s final attack just this: “Eternity in a Moment”. That’s because his weapon is mostly sonic-based, and is called (in terrible Swahili) “Mahadhi ya Milele”, or “Eternal Rhythm”. They’re basically bladed tonfas he customized and built himself. The design was trying to be somewhat similar to musical notes without being too obvious.

I hope to one day soon be able to update things at the speed/level of quality that I’d like to. I think everyone reading deserves that much at least.

In short, I’m really not sure when I can get the updates going regularly again. Life just sorta comes in and messes with your plans and it really really sucks sometimes.

Man I hated being sick. XP I’m glad to be back on my feet, even if I don’t feel so hot still. Not sure what it is, but its really knocked me out of whack…I think it might be a combination of stress and sickness, cause I’m not all coughing and sneezing and stuff, but still feel sorta bad all the time. Hmm.

In any case, its probably not too hard to figure out who that might be. XD Reminds me, I really need to update the cast page later.

Damien seems to think Forest has it a bit easier than he does! Which is probably true, knowing Kyle, lol. And Bee really seems to be warmly up more to the wolf! Things are looking up for FW. Maybe this whole project thing will go well after all!

Whew, finally got an update! FW finds Damien at school, and also finds out how Damien and Kyle’s project went!

No lie, I remember people doing projects like this back in school. Not to mention I did one on optical illusions seen between girls and boys. Those sorts of projects seem more like math projects than science, but I guess math is a science? XD

Anyway, a practice in coloring, and updating Forest’s KH design a bit, though not by much. I’ve had people complain how unlike he is from Forest’s normal, happy (if a bit of a worry wolf) personality, but that’s how I wanted him to be in the comic (that I need to get working on again). This is Forest, broken; he’s not complete, and its almost like he’s adopted a grating, angry persona just to get by day to day, and ignore the gnawing hole inside him. I’ll eventually show what he used to be like in the comic, in the next chapter if I can ever get around to finishing this one. XP

Here he is facing off against an opponent, who’s either above him or much taller than him, showing a bit of his wolf-ish anger I suppose. I tried to make it look like he was standing on ground with a very small layer of water on top, not walking on water, but it was rather hard to show I guess. I’m also wondering if he’s in the World of Darkness or not, I’m not sure.

Gosh I’m uncreative today. XD But an update finally! Yay! XD

I’ve done this plenty of times myself… XD Coincidently I sound like Steven Blum in my head.

Well, things seem to have gone well for FW, despite Bee being a bit distracted with her thoughts. Maybe this means he’s a lot more relaxed around her? Maybe they’ll draw closer because of this whole project? Who knows! I guess we’ll find out, lol.

I’ve often wondered this, even when I was back in school and working towards college and stuff. All those people running around joining clubs, and sports, and doing all those extracurricular activities…Is that really what they wanted to do, how they wanted to spend their time? Hmm…

Bee’s got a lot to think about all of a sudden. I think it shows that she just now only considered this. Forest is just trying to get to know her more, but he’s probably one of the first to be interested in her like that. I wonder where this will lead to…
