Anyway, a practice in coloring, and updating Forest’s KH design a bit, though not by much. I’ve had people complain how unlike he is from Forest’s normal, happy (if a bit of a worry wolf) personality, but that’s how I wanted him to be in the comic (that I need to get working on again). This is Forest, broken; he’s not complete, and its almost like he’s adopted a grating, angry persona just to get by day to day, and ignore the gnawing hole inside him. I’ll eventually show what he used to be like in the comic, in the next chapter if I can ever get around to finishing this one. XP

Here he is facing off against an opponent, who’s either above him or much taller than him, showing a bit of his wolf-ish anger I suppose. I tried to make it look like he was standing on ground with a very small layer of water on top, not walking on water, but it was rather hard to show I guess. I’m also wondering if he’s in the World of Darkness or not, I’m not sure.

Gosh I’m uncreative today. XD But an update finally! Yay! XD

I’ve done this plenty of times myself… XD Coincidently I sound like Steven Blum in my head.

Well, things seem to have gone well for FW, despite Bee being a bit distracted with her thoughts. Maybe this means he’s a lot more relaxed around her? Maybe they’ll draw closer because of this whole project? Who knows! I guess we’ll find out, lol.

I’ve often wondered this, even when I was back in school and working towards college and stuff. All those people running around joining clubs, and sports, and doing all those extracurricular activities…Is that really what they wanted to do, how they wanted to spend their time? Hmm…

Bee’s got a lot to think about all of a sudden. I think it shows that she just now only considered this. Forest is just trying to get to know her more, but he’s probably one of the first to be interested in her like that. I wonder where this will lead to…

In other news! Sorry this is late, this has not been the week for comic making. But I did get it done, technically in time; its still Friday here! Also! Might do something special tomorrow, maybe try to stream again, we’ll see. See you all Tuesday regardless!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances (and a splitting headache) today’s update is going to be delayed until after I get home from work today and finish it. Sorry about that!

Well at least Forest is honest! Hopefully this’ll lead to Bee opening up to him more. Or vice versa. Or maybe they’ll just go eat cookies, then everyone wins.

Aaaand we’re back to the main story! I think. Hopefully. Anyway! Poor FW is trying, really he is, but its rather distracting to be right next to your crush like this, and worse, try to work on something boring at the same time. Course, it helps that he just likes hearing the sound of her voice, even if it does get him distracted.

You’d think Bee would have better hearing with ears that large.

Yeeeeeaaah, I have weird dreams. XD I’m thinking about trying to tweet them when I wake up, but some of them defy logic and/or description.

Course, it doesn’t help that I’ve actually had this happen to me in real life too! I once saw someone in the store who looked like me, and I asked myself “…Why am I already at the store?” and was genuinely confused by it for a little while. XD

In any case, still working on things, trying to get the site together. The Archives page is up, and the Cast Page is at least functioning, though I need to shrink the image sizes a bit so I can fit more characters in there. If you don’t see anything on that page, make sure you have Javascript turned on! Its necessary for there.

I’m feeling better about things now. Hopefully I can keep this up and reach my goal of Tuesday for finishing everything (like a new comic).

Hah! Kyle being Kyle. Nothing’s really changed in my time away from things. Course neither has Bee’s short temper. I wonder how they’re still friends even? XD

Hope everyone’s been doing well! I’ve been thinking about rearranging the update schedule to something that works better with my new schedule at work and home; right now I seem to only be able to hit Monday/Tuesday with any sort of regularity. Which is a bit disappointing. I’d very much like to get 3 updates a week going, like maybe color comics on Monday and Tuesday and sketchy ones like this on Wednesday if I could. I guess we’ll see how things go!

Nope, not gonna do it. XD This wasn’t so much a “Suggestion” as an idea that someone hinted at (playfully, I assume) as a means to get the comic started back up again. I don’t think I’ll ever understand the obsession with them. XP But anyway!

I think I’m getting the hang of this again! Hopefully I’ll hae another one on Friday. Thanks everyone for continuing to support the comic, I’ll keep doing my best!

Wow, its been forever, hasn’t it? I feel so darn rusty at this.

I hope you’re all doing well. This was inspired by recent events (Mouse has been kinda down) so, you know…Try to cheer a friend up when they’re down!

Or just hide the problem till it solves itself. Either or.

I’ve rather let things fall apart here so I’m sorry for that. Things have been kind of a mess, though at the same time they’ve been great, I’ve been on a see-saw path for the past few months; something good will happen, then something bad, then something good…Its really put a damper on anything I’d planned to do, which is why I’ve been so lax (if you could call it that) on the updates here.

I’ve honestly thought about quitting the comic entirely. I don’t like putting up terrible, half-hearted things, as I’ve done before (and people have pointed out how they didn’t like that), and I don’t want to just stop drawing FW and his friends entirely. I don’t have the time to devote to it currently that I’d like to have either. Its depressing on a lot of levels.

I’ve read through a lot of the comments, at least the ones from the past month or so, and I suppose I could make a compromise. Instead of ending things or going on haitus again, maybe I could just draw…Whatever and put it up here? That means rather random things, and probably an end to storyline stuff for a while, but any update is a good update, right? I can’t promise twice a week, or even once a week, but I’ll try to not let this site be as dead as it has been. Maybe this will spark something in me and get me going back on the right path with things.

Would you all like that?

Whoever’s still around, thanks for checking in at least, and I hope to sometime soon make you all smile along with Forest and the rest of the gang again.
