Guns! Intrigue! Explosions! Parkour! Crushing gambling addictions! Martinis! People with scars on their faces! Washboard abs! The "Bodies" exhibit! No, I'm not just describing how I spent my Arbor Day two years ago; it's also all the subject of the major Bond reboot, Casino Royale.
Based on the original Bond novel by Ian Fleming and starring Daniel Craig's baby-blues, this is easily one of the best all-around Bond films of all time.
Anyone who says otherwise is probably Sean Connery - not because he was the original James Bond; he just didn't care much for the cinematography.

Although it may not be a tale as old as time, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is certainly an enduring holiday classic, and as such, the story has been subject to various adaptations including several films, opera and ballet productions and a Broadway play. This holiday season, Disney gives Dickens a 21st century facelift with Disney's A Christmas Carol in IMAX 3D.

The former singer from southern grunge band Verbena is now a solo artist and has two albums under his belt.
The first was American Hearts, which he recorded in a barn near his home in upstate New York. It was first released on Superphonic but later re-released on his new label, Fat Possum. His sophomore album, When the Devil's Loose, came out in September and he did a solo tour to promote it.
Now, he is touring with a full band, which will come to Tallahassee. A.A. Bondy has toured with Conor Oberst, known as Bright Eyes and his Mystic Valley Band. His emo/indie sound is quite similar to Bright Eyes, heavy with emotion and sung in a slow Southern drawl. Bondy even has "love" and "hate" tattooed on his knuckles.
In an interview by Aquarium Drunkard, Bondy talked about his latest album. "I would imagine, to an outside listener, it's a much more abstract record. It's something that more generates a feeling rather than telling someone how to feel," said Bondy.

It's registration time, and I'm sure you've got all of your courses mapped out, making sure you're staying on track and taking everything your major requires. But did you consider any classes that may not be required for your major but might be required for life? The 120 hours most degree programs have laid out for students don't include all the courses needed for successful graduates. There are many courses that can help students get jobs and get in to graduate school that may simply not be part of their major.

When I met Jaspers' Jeremy Rasik and Kiley Bobbitt at the Engine Room for our interview one afternoon, we sat down with some of the best beers the bar has to offer and, with a "cheers," they drank and talked enthusiastically about music, theirs or otherwise, namedropping everyone from Curtis Mayfield and Chet Baker to Dirty Projectors and Kaki King, while the Dirty Dozen Brass Band from New Orleans loudly sound-checked their horns for no one in particular.
