The matchup of the week will be airing Sunday night as the Jets travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. Look for a defensive battle in a game that will potentially impact the AFC wildcard very early on in the season. With both teams’ offenses putting up an average of 30 points per game while both defenses are averaging just about 30 points per game, this has the potential to come down to the wire. Ray Rice will look to continue the success he’s found on the ground during the first three weeks while Shonn Greene will be searching for that first breakout game of the year. Quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez go into this one pretty evenly matched and will look to Anquan Boldin and Dustin Keller respectively to give them the advantage. This is a game that you simply won’t want to miss.

If a month ago you had said that the Bills would be the last undefeated team in the AFC people would have looked at you like you were crazy, and yet, after last week’s impressive win over the Patriots, Buffalo is indeed the only team without a loss in the AFC. The Lions are also roaring with a 3-0 start and Green Bay has seemingly found the cure to the Superbowl hangover as they have also been victorious in their first three matchups and while the three will look to advance to 4-0, the rest of the league will be hoping to find a winning formula as we gear up for the fourth week of NFL action.

Another exciting matchup has the Lions facing off against the Cowboys. Detroit will look to advance to 4-0 while the Cowboys will be hoping to have more success offensively than they did last week in their win over Washington in which every one of their points came off of a field goal. Lions’ quarterback Matt Stafford has been a huge factor in Detroit’s early success having already thrown for 9 touchdowns and nearly 1,000 yards, Tony Romo, meanwhile, has been no slouch, closing in on 1,000 passing yards himself and having accounted for 4 touchdowns. Perhaps the most important component in this one is the Lions’ defensive line as the pass rush has helped the team hold opponents to an average of just 188 yards passing per game. Not to be out done, however, is the Cowboys’ D who is amongst the league’s best in rush defense. Looks to be another classic battle between two teams with a lifetime of history against one another.

Carolina vs. Chicago promises to be a good one. Rookie quarterback Cam Newton proved last week that he was indeed human as he, for the first time this season, did not eclipse 400 yards passing, however, with Chicago averaging an average of close to 300 yards passing per game, we could be looking at yet another huge performance from Newton. Matt Forte looks poised to have a big game as he is a quick rusher and can transition in and out of a receiver type role seamlessly, bad news for the Panthers who’ve looked particularly weak on defense this year.

Across the league Buffalo will head to Cincinnati to take on the 1-2 Bengals in a game which will see the Bills as the favorite, either the Vikings or the Chiefs will record their first victory of the season as the two meet in Kansas City, the Eagles will look to return to their winning ways while hosting the 49ers, we’ll see a top ten offense in Houston attempt to outperform a top five defense in Pittsburgh and the Monday night game will feature a heavily favored 2-1 Tampa team against the still winless Colts.

The most important battle this weekend, however, does not come on the field but rather in hospitals and laboratories and as the players and coaches of the NFL adorn their pink gear in order to help raise breast cancer awareness, it is important to recognize just how common and deadly this disease can be. While in NYC, we sat down with Evidence of Dilated Peoples and talked about his new album, Cats & Dogs, out now, what's it like working with Alchemist, what he feels about albums leaking early and how Jay-Z & Kanye West were able to buck that trend, his take on the new crop of Westcoast emcees like Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar and Fashawn, who he actually thinks is the dopest of the new crop as well as his take on how the shift from gangsta rap to more down to earth rap. He then gives us an update on the next Dilated Peoples album "Directors of Photography", what's like being a dope emcee and producer and if the emcee in him conflicts with the producer in him. He then ends the interview by speaking on why he feels like Rhymesayers is the best indie label in Hip Hop..
