I wanna make sure you guys know, I am not anti-church nor pro-church, but I am pro-self identity. Churches do a lot of good' and if you believe in the Christian god and go to church and you mean it in your heart MORE POWER TO YA, I wish more people could be like you.
But some people give Christianity a bad name. Just saying.

Breaking Points

"BREAKING WALLS"

The walls that I have been building up for years are suddenly breaking,

and reality is slowly taking over my world,
the spell no longer works,

I have failed as a magician.
Escapism has been my get away since I was a kid,
I thought I could be able to maintain that worry-less feeling,
I was wrong,
Dreams can shield you from reality but they cannot change it,
the bubble will eventually burst,
and once it does there's not going back.
If I could only find the spell to change reality itself...
but then if I did the wall between fantasy and reality would break creating chaos among humanity and dreamers.
Sometimes (most of the times) I wish I was a changeling,
only posing as a human until my real fairy family takes me back to their world,
a magical world away from this stressful mundanity.
The walls that I have been building for years are suddenly breaking,
my castle has been penetrated,
and the invasion seems inevitable,
It's only a matter of time until I'm found,
and when that occurs,
I won't know what to do.

This poem is a reflection of my current state of mind, my family is struggling financially, yet they still insist in paying for college, I tell them that it's OK, I can just skip a few years, but they are hard-headed, I can't seem to find a job, and trust me I tried, my bank account only contains some miserable 25 cents, i have no means of transportation, and at this point it seems like I'm never gonna leave home.
You have to realize I like to live in a bubble, I'm a make-your-own-reality kind of guy, my mom says so, my dad says so, shit even my astrology book says so, I don't know how to deal with reality, my bubble is about to burst and once it does I'm afraid I'll become a mess.
If only I had money, people say that money doesn't matter, but it does, money is what makes the world go around, I swear to god If I was financially stable I would be a lot happier, A LOT!
How do you avoid feeling low when everyone around you is higher than you? Some people don't know how lucky they are, seriously.

Vlog: I quit smoking

For the past two years I've been a social smoker, smoking maybe 1 cigarette every 2 weeks or so, mainly at parties where everyone else smokes, but recently I've realized they don't anything for me except they make me feel cool. So I stopped, I realized that If I keep that up I can easily become a religious smoker by age 23.

DragonCon 2009

This Saturday I went to my first DragonCon! which is the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US, It's held every year in Atlanta Georgia and the whole city becomes a meca for freaks like me to come out into the streets away from our computers, tv, and ipods.

I pulled a last minute costume out of my ass and went as a gangster elf.

My Bussiness cards & Graphic Design

So I finally got business cards made, if you are a blog-whore like me business cards are a must, I've been wanting to do them for along time but they are freaking expensive, so I made my own, with cardboard, white paint and a sharpie, you like?

I wish I had the money to get fancy cards made, such as these and these.

I watched Harry Potter the other day, and I have to say It was quite nice, before going to the theater I thought I was never going be able to watch the movies again because of this:

Yes, I saw it, don't you Judge me! As soon as I hear there's a naked celebrity picture out there you bet your ass I'm going to see that shit. Anyways back to my point, the movie was a bit anti-climatic, but the balance of love themes along with the darkness of the film was beautifully illustrated.

I need help, for I am currently going through withdrawal .

For the past 13 weeks I've been watching this murder mystery series on CBS, and now, now it has ended! I probably have no life for saying this but Harper's island was my life!
I kept notes every episode about the killings to at the end resolve the mystery , but now the show has ended and there nothing i can do to bring it back except wait for the DVD release.
Now I know how my mom feels every time one of her soap-operas ends, I feel like something is missing from me, I get this feeling that makes me want to hit things, and basically become Godzilla and scream with all the air I have in my lungs "I WANT MORE HARPER'S ISLAND!" and start crying and crumble to my knees as melodramatic music plays in the background.
I got so into it I started dreaming about it and fantasizing about me being one of the characters, the show ended about 4 days ago yet I'm still visiting the online forums everyday just like I used to, I guess I'm on denial.

Hopefully the new Harry Potter movie will take my mind of it
