Well, players all join a party and the first two players get selected to become the DJs. All the other players join the queue to become the DJ later on in the party. The DJs create an awesome playlist with their muses. Both the DJs present a song and all the other players vote for the song they like most. The song with the most votes wins and gets played. When a DJ wins three times the other DJ gets replaced by the next and the party continues. When a DJ, actually called a muser, wins three vote rounds, the other muser gets replaced by the next player in the queue and the next player becomes the muser. The musers both start at 0 won vote rounds again and the party continues! The gameplay is a lot like turntable.fm and Soundrop, but in ofthemuse you are actually playing, competing and challenging each other and not just waiting for your turn to play. ofthemuse is a new way of hearing new music as well as pitting your musical taste against that of your friends. Bills HD is a beautifully designed bill reminder and bill tracker app that could just be the catalyst to let you know when your bills are due so you will never forget to pay on time again. It will alert you with daily or weekly reminders when you have bills due or expenses to pay and makes it easy to track and organize your expenditures. It has been designed with a quick overview screen for upcoming bills and reminder notifications so you will always be one step ahead of the game. Bills HD has all the regular features that a good personal finance app should contain including a fair bit of statistical analysis to see where you are spending your hard earned cash as well as time sensitive history displays, payment logs with categories and the ability to backup your data safely and securely with iCloud - which means it's easy to sync your data with your other devices. But in reality, the thing that is going to help sell Bill HD to the potential customer out there is it's snappy and colorful interface which might just be the thing that turns it's audience on. There is not a huge amount of difference between the plethora of personal finance apps available. Bills HD has all of those and presents them in a very colorful way. On the downside, at US$2.99 it may well make it's potential audience out there think twice when there are many others available for half that price which do similar things. There have also been a few grumbles about it's scrolling technique but I didn't notice them on my iPad. But the bottom line with this simple to use money tracker is that it is selling itself as much as anything else on how it looks - and it looks great to me.

With the recent acquisition of Instagram by Mr Zuckerberg's all consuming Facebook organization we can expect to see a lot more photo editing applications on the market - as if there aren't enough already. However, the extremely cool looking Jazz could well be the one to make the big leap forward. This powerful photoshare and photo editor for iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone puts it's considerable hand up by offering unlimited photo stylings for the interested amateur yet provides plenty of unique features to make even the most hardened pro sit up and take notice. Jazz is a powerful photo editing application that stands out from the crowd by giving users an unlimited number of photo styles at the touch of a button whilst also allowing seasoned image tweekers to have complete control of every feature of their photo as users can refine the look of their photos manually if they so choose. While similar photo editors like Instagram and Hipstamatic have captured all the attention because of their simplicity I tend to favor slightly more complex ones like PhotoToaster because it gives me more options and, to be quite honest, Jazz goes one step further than my faithful 'Toaster' by offering more of everything. More styles, more borders and more effects with pre prepared categories like grunge, modern, retro and vintage but the 15 powerful filters mean there isn't much you can't do to add an extra edge to your photos. The extremely elegant Jazz interface is given an added classy touch by naming many of the styles after famous jazz musicians, which I find quite endearing and very cool. When you have transformed your photo into a piece of photographic art you can easily upload it to Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr. I find it quite ironic that I often scan old photographs and modernize their look with a photo editor when Facebook just shelled out a billion on an app that can make your new photos look old - but that's another story. If you upload photos onto Facebook regularly then you will know some of the problems that crop up and know exactly why they invested in Instagram. What we have here with Jazz... is a very powerful photo editor with virtually unlimited options that will appeal to the Instagram crowd as well as to the more exacting customer. I am going to find it extremely hard not to use Jazz... for my photo editing in the future as it is clearly up there with the best. Oh, and the's one other thing that may convince you - your photos don't have to be square!
