Sa mga bagohan, bago po tayo magtanong ay pakiintindi pong mabuti yung mga pamamaraan dito. Unahin po muna natin yung sa pagkuha ng max ng packet size natin by Ping Method bago tayo maedit ng registry dahil ilalagay po natin doon yung number max packet size sa huli. Kaya wag po tayong manhula o magshortcut dahil nonsense po itong lahat. Sa ping method eh max po sa iba eh 1500 at yung iba eh 1400, gagawin lang po natin para makuha nio yung max nio eh add and minus lang po tayo dian ng 28 para maging result nia eh gaya nun nasa 2nd screenshot na zero lost.Working po sa lahat ng OS to as long na may regedit po tayo, konting diskarte na lang please! Walang bagohan sa thread na may tutorial ng procedure. Tamang pagbasa lang po at konting isip ang kailangan natin dito pero kung mahina ka sa english...YUN LANG! Btw, I'm using Win 7 Ultimate. I set my MTU setting to 1451(my MTU max). So far so good, im receiving all the packets and nothings lost.

MTU Definition:

Maximum Transfer Unit - The largest size of IP datagram that may be transferred on a given network. Most network implementations have a default setting of 1500 bytes.

Lets begin by Pinging:

A series of ping tests using the command, ping www.expedient.net -f -l xxxx, where xxxx is the packet size, can be used to determine the optimal MTU for your connection.

1. Go to Start and select Run.

2. Type in cmd (Windows 2000/XP) or command (Windows 98/ME) into the Open: field. Hit the enter key or click OK. The DOS prompt should open.

3. At the DOS prompt, type in ping www.expedient.net -f -l 1492 and hit the Enter key.

5. Note the results above indicate that the packet needs to be fragmented. Lower the size the packet in increments of +/-10 (e.g. 1472, 1462, 1440, 1400) until you have a packet size that does not fragment.

7. Begin increasing the packet size from this number in small increments until you find the largest size that does not fragment. Add 28 to that number (IP/ICMP headers) to get the optimal MTU setting. For example, if the largest packet size from ping tests is 1462, add 28 to 1462 to get a total of 1490 which is the optimal MTU setting.

Creating Friend Lists

Step 4 Contact Information

4. Make sure all of your Phone and Address information is blank and click the Save Changes.

Step 5 Facebook Search

If your profile is opted in for Facebook Search, then everyone can access your profile page, albeit without total access. Regardless of your privacy settings, it's best to make yourself invisible to everyone with Internet access.

1. Click on the Account tab.
2. Choose Privacy Settings from the drop-down menu.
3. In the Connecting on Facebook section at the top, click on View Settings.

4. By Search for you on Facebook, choose Friends Only from the drop-down menu.

Step 6 Public Search

Not only can people search for you on Facebook, but they can search for you via Google, Bing and other search engines. Make sure to turn off Public Search if you don't want to be seen outside of Facebook.

1. Click on the Account tab.
2. Choose Privacy Settings.
3. Click on Edit your settings in the bottom left, under Apps and Websites.
4. Find Public search and click on Edit Settings.

5. Un-check the box that says Enable public search.

NOTE: If you set Facebook Search to Friends Only in Step 5, then Public Search will automatically be disabled. You must have Facebook Search set to Everyone in order to enable or disable Public Search manually.

Step 7 Application Access

If you have third-party apps connected to your Facebook (most of you will), it's time to get rid of the ones you're not using, or ones you deem mistrustful.

1. Click on the Account tab.
2. Choose Privacy Settings.
3. Click on Edit your settings in the bottom left, under Apps and Websites.
4. Find the Apps you use section.
A. Turn of all platform apps will do just that. But who wants to get rid of all their apps?
B. The other two choices are Remove unwanted or spammy apps and Edit Settings. Both do the same thing.
5. Click on Remove or Edit Settings and find the app you want to remove or edit.
6. Click Edit Settings or just hit the X to remove the app altogether.

NOTE: Most options are required by apps, but some you can remove, like posting to your wall. If you don't like what they have required access to, then simply hit Remove app. Below is an example of what one application has access to.

Step 8 Info Accessible in Apps

Some friends may be using the same apps that you do, which means they can see more of you when they're using those apps. If you don't want to share a lot of information with your friends, then you can change some of the settings.

1. Click on the Account tab.
2. Choose Privacy Settings.
3. Click on Edit your settings in the bottom left, under Apps and Websites.
4. Click Edit Settings from the Info accessible through your friends section.
5. Select what information you want available to applications, games and websites when your

1. Click on the Account tab.

NOTE: Whenever you use a Facebook page or third-party app that takes you out of secure browsing, and you allow it, it will disable it completely and you'll have to go back and reset your preferences. Don't assume it will automatically switch back.

When in Account Security, you can also change settings for Login Approvals and Login Notifications and check your recent Login Activity.

HOW TO TRACE FACEBOOK USER LOCATION WHILE CHATTING test

“If You have unknown friends in yourfacebook account and then after some time,
you come to know that one of them is a fake person then with the help of this facebook tricks you can trace his IP address and area. I often accept many unkown friend requests, one day i get into a big problem from a unkown friend of mine. He start abusing me .Then i do some research work and i come to know about this facebook trick and with the help of this PC Trick i came to know that the unknown one is my own friend and he just make a fake ID on facebook.

Anyway, here’s is the facebook trick of doing it:

First you got to find out the IP address of that User.

- To Do so we will be using “netstat” command in windows for this pc trick.
If you want to know the IP address of a specific person on facebook or orkut or any chat service,
there is only one way: Just invite or ping him for a chat and while chat is ON open ‘Command Prompt‘
on your PC (Start >Run>cmd).

Note: before trying this make sure you close all the other tabs in your browser
and only facebook is open. also if possible delete all the history and cache from your browser.

Now the next step that you have to do for this facebook trick is opens the command prompt

Type the following command and hit Enter. netstat -an

And you will get all established connections IP addresses there. Note down all the suspicious IP’s.

The Next PC Trick is to trace that user using his IP address.

To do this facebook tricks we will be using IP tracer service.

For this Go to the following address : http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/

and paste the IP address in the box that says “lookup this ip or website”. and it will show you the location of the user.

It will show you all the information about that user along with his ISP and a Location in the MAP.
Now in the MAP Just click on “click for big ip address location” in the big picture you can actually zoom in and try to recognize the area. If any serious matter just note down the ISP details in that page and contact them about the IP. they will respond you. Use this facebook trick if you are in a problem with some unknown friend.

Note:

This trick is not always RIGHT or CORRECT, for example, gumagamit ng Proxy Sites, Software or VPN ang gusto mo matrace,
NOT possible po na ma-trace mo siya using that IP, dahil basically outside the country ang IP na niya.

But It is guaranteed working sa mga nak-direct ang conection with their ISP.

IIS is the Web server for XP and Windows. Web server installation and administration is relatively simple, mainly setting up directories accessible to the Internet.

Installing IIS - IIS is not normally installed on XP systems. To install:
1. Insert XP installation CD.
2. Start | Setting | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components
3. Check Internet Information Services (IIS) and click Next. The Windows Components Wizard should start.
4. When IIS is installed, go through the tests and configuration below this section.
IP address or host name - At IUS, the IP will be dynamically and automatically assigned. All machines are known locally (on themselves) aslocalhost. IUS machines also have a name assigned that is accessible Internet-wide. To connect to the Web server on the same machine and get the default page, in a browser enter:

Expand local computer, Web Sites, and Default Web Site.
Right click on Default Web Site.
New | Virtual Directory
- Alias: A348

Depending upon your configuration of operating systems and Access versions, the following may be necessary when ASP script fail when accessing database:Change A348 Application Protection as a work-around associated with using Access databases and ASP:
- Right click on A348
- Select Properties
  - Change Application Protection to: Low(IIS Process)

- Stop and start IIS by:

Server program execution

IIS requires that the virtual directory where the server program resides have execute privileges and the Launch IIS Process Accounthave sufficient privileges.

Scripts - Server scripts (designated with ASP or ASPX extension) are similar to client scripts but run on the server, sending output to the browser.Assume that a directory C:\A348 has been defined as a virtual directory named A348 with execute privileges. Any ASP file placed in the directory can then be executed; a program named test.asp located on directory C:\A348 can then be executed by:

http://localhost/A348/test.asp

C++ - Any executable file can be a CGI program. Assume that a directory C:\CGI has been defined as a virtual directory named CGI with execute privileges. Any exe file placed in the directory can then be executed; a program named test.exe located on directory C:\CGI can then be executed by:

http://localhost/CGI/test.exe

Perl - Perl can be used as a CGI or script programming language. It can be freely downloaded from http://www.ActivePerl.com

IIS - Under Windows 2000/XP, assuming ActivePerl is installed at C:\Perl:

Login with administrator privileges

Create a directory using Windows Explorer on: C:\A348

Start | Run | Control | Administrative Tools | Internet Information Services

Expand local computer and Web Sites.

Right click on Default Web Site and open the Properties editor.

Click on Home Directory tab.

Set Local Path to C:\inetpub\wwwroot

Click Configuration button.

Click App Mappings tab then Add button.

Enter:

Executeable: C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe %s %s

Extension: .pl

Click OK to back out of menus.

The Perl program in virtual directory A348 could then be executed without specifying the Perl interpreter by:

Command Prompt - To execute a Perl program with a .pl extension at the command prompt or by clicking on the file icon, the simplest approach is to associate the file extension with the Perl interpreter.

Locate the perl.exe interpreter using Find. It is probably located as Perl\bin\perl.exe

Open Windows Explorer and point to the perl.exe file.

Tools | Folder Options | File Types

Look for a .pl extension in the list of files types, if not found, continue.

Click New and enter .pl as the File Extension.

Click Change | Other...

Locate and click on perl.exe

Open | OK | Close

The Perl program in directory C:\A348 could then be executed without specifying the Perl interpreter by:

C:\A348\test.pl

Warnings - Placing executable files in public directories allow any Internet user access to execute those files on your machine. Be careful what you place in public directories. Test that the programs execute as intended and attempt to defend against common attacks. These will be discussed later in the course.

Exercise 2 - Testing IIS Scripts

Verify that the server will execute server-side scripts from the A348 directory:

Login with administrator privileges
Create a directory using Windows Explorer on: C:\A348\ASP
Copy and paste the following ASP script to the file named HelloWorld.asp:

Adding Secure Access to the Server

The following restricts access to virtual directories by the Integrated Windows Authentication, a secure login method. Only those users or groups explicitly listed will be able to access the directory over the Internet.
Disable Simple File Sharing

Disabling Simple File Sharing is necessary in order to enable the creation of Access Control Lists for shared disks and folders:

Click Start | My Computer | Tools | Folder Options | View.

Scroll to the bottom of the list of advanced settings and un-check Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended).

Click OK.

Create User Accounts

There are a couple of ways to create user accounts, but let's start simply by clicking Start | Control Panel | User Accounts.
You'll see all of the existing accounts on the computer.

Click Create a new account, and enter the new user's name.

Click Next, and choose the account type. This determines (rather simplistically) which group the user will be placed in. There's generally no good reason to grant remote users Computer administrator privileges, so select Limited, and then click Create Account. The new account appears in the User Accounts window.

Create Passwords

By default, Windows XP will not permit a network user to access the XP machine using an account set up without a password.
In Control Panel | User Accounts, click the desired account, and then click Create a password. Enter the password, and then enter it again to confirm it. Enter a password hint if you'd like – a user who forgets the password can look at the hint at the logon screen as a memory aid. Then click Create Password to make it take effect.
Define Virtual Drive Access

Locate the folder of the virtual drive defined for IIS.

Right click | Sharing and Security | Security

Add the names of users (or group) that should be given access to the folder. Set the permissions for each user (group).

Click Advanced and uncheck the Inherit from parent .... This will restrict access to only those users (groups) explicitly listed.

Define Database Directory Access

The database directory must be accessible by IIS and the program updating the database.

Locate the folder of the database.

Right click | Sharing and Security | Security

Add the names of users (or group) that should be given access to the database folder. Set the permissions for each user (group) to FULL.

Add the name of the IIS Guest account, IUSR_machinename and set the permissions to FULL.

Authentication Method

By default IIS allows anyone to access the virtual drive as an anonymous user.

Start | Run | Control | Administrative Tools | Internet Information Services

Expand local computer, Web Sites, and Default Web Site.

Right click on the virtual directory | Properties | Directory Security | Edit

Only Integrated Windows authentication should be checked.
