This post was done on Monday 2 March 2009.   The Trainers get Mondays free to work on their own web sites, blogs, etc.    On Tuesday 3rd new, special training will be give.    When I accessed the Workshop Schedule I was told:

Our schedule will be designed a bit different this month.

Due to the fact that this class will be hands on and will have a much slower pace. Our intention is for you to learn. To learn you must have hands on experiences.

The class will begin on Tuesday March 3, 2009 and run until everyone has a Newsletter up and understands about running a successful Newsletter.

Our training room will be open at 10:45 am EST. Class will start at 11:15 am EST. Classes will run until 4:00 pm EST daily. No Training on Monday during the day but Steve will be available Monday Evenings from 9:00 - 10:00 PM EST in the LGT Workshop Room!

The course will be for 6-8 weeks, please be on time and prepared. If you fall behind we will make arrangements to get you help. For the first 2-3 days we will give you all the tools you will need, we will HELP get accounts set up where needed.

Course Outline:

Introduction, open discussion on what your look and niche will be, choosing a name for your newsletter.

Get a legal pad or some paper and plan your layout, we will show you some good examples and some poor examples. Plan around your niche, your name that your branding, what you have to offer your readers. Good quality information. Keep there attention.

We will look at other News Letters and discuss what you see, and how you would make it better or take away from it. The goal here is so you have an idea about layout and designing your own.

Everything from this point on will be open discussions and hands on, no one will be wrong and no one will be right, it is for your style that is most important. But there will be some rules to follow to be successful.

Our goal is for you to have at least 2 month’s newsletter’s ready when class is over, and a good start on your 3rd month. We will encourage you to publish monthly until you fully understand how to operate it. A newsletter can be a business in its self if run right. Its yours and you did not have to pay a cent to get it.

We will teach you to build your layout and help you design your header. You will use responders to automate your mailing. You will learn proper uploading to your domain, making folders, placing images etc.

Once you are finished creating your lead page for your newsletter and have your responder set up you will have 30 days B-4 you need to publish it. Now we are going to learn how to advertise our news letters to get free signups. you will join a free service that offers nothing but ezines and news letter to there readers. Cool, you will see your list grow while doing the rest of this class.

I hope you are excited and ready to take on a whole new world of marketing.

After subscribing to Lead Generating Tools and logging into your back office, using the username and password you chose, you are told what is available to you. This varies according to what level you have are at. They are divided into various departments.

The first one is all about communication and starts with the Support Desk.  Steve Swetman, the owner, really looks after his subscribers wants you to get the most out of the tools he provides.

You are then invited to upgrade if you can afford it, but whether you do or not you are still welcome to come to the Training, which is what comes next, under the heading: Workshop Schedule.    This will be looked at in the next post.

Next you will be invited to subscribe to the Newsletter, which brings you up to date as to what will be on offer next, be it Specialist Training, some new videos, a Social Networking site, etc.   This can be read either on the web or via an email.

Another way he keeps in touch is via his Blog, which contains the Blogs of those who attended the training on them, to show what they had learnt.

The last section in the this Department is one on how to set up your own Conference Room, which Platinum members receive as part of their package.   I am a Platinum member.
