Move-up Sunday is May 31

May 31 is Move Up Sunday, when kids and students will transition to their new ministries and programs reflecting their grades for the 2026-2027 school year!

Beginning May 31, kids going into kindergarten will begin their elementary experience, current 5th graders will start attending Sunday morning worship services and Fairhaven Students events, including Middle School Wednesday, and our graduating seniors will join Young Adults.

Transitions are exciting times, and we want to celebrate these exciting milestones. Click on the links below for more information.

Global Impact giving project: Reaching the unreached

Imagine a place with no church, no Bible in your language, and no one to tell you about Jesus. Across the Asia Pacific region, thousands of people groups are still waiting to hear the hope of Jesus for the very first time.

When you support this year’s Global Impact giving project, you get to be part of reaching the unreached. You’re supporting a training program equipping local leaders to make God known in hard-to-access places where many cannot go.

In many of these regions, access is limited and opportunities are few. But by investing in training and sending local leaders, you’re helping take the hope of Jesus into communities, languages, and people groups that have never heard His name. We’re equipping leaders, multiplying impact, and helping make sure every people group has access to the hope of Jesus!

Global Impact weekend is April 25-27

In the hardest-to-reach parts of the Asia Pacific region, many have never heard the name of Jesus. In places where access is limited and outside help is restricted, we may not be able to go, but we can help send and equip those who can. During this year’s Global Impact Weekend, global staff members Andy and Lora Brake will share how a new training program is preparing leaders to bring the hope of Jesus to unreached communities.

Global Impact Brunch

You’re invited to a special brunch during Global Impact Weekend. Hear from guest speakers about reaching unreached people groups in hard-to-access places. Connect with others and take part in breakout sessions as you explore how you can “make God known” here, near, and far. Cost is $12.

A self guided, interactive mission experience for all ages. Through Scripture centered stations:

Join us for a dessert reception and mission gathering with our global staff serving here, near, and far. Hear stories from the front lines, including a special update from Andy and Lora Brake, and discover ways to be part of what God is doing around the world.

We will support the Antioch Training Program, which equips Asia Pacific leaders to make God known in hard-to-access places where others cannot go.

Help send young adults to the Dominican Republic

There are people around the world searching for hope, and you have the opportunity to be part of how they find it.

This summer, our Young Adults are heading to the Dominican Republic to serve with local churches, build relationships, and support ministry happening in everyday places. One of those places is The Greenhouse Coffee Shop, a ministry hub reaching college students and professionals near a university of over 100,000 students. It’s a place where conversations happen, lives are changed, and the hope of Jesus is shared.

Here’s how you can help:

Purchase a bag of authentic Dominican coffee ($20), roasted in the DR and served at The Greenhouse
Sign up to receive prayer prompts and support the team spiritually
Make a tax-deductible donation to help send and equip our Young Adults

Baptism symbolizes a believer finding new life in Jesus. It’s a public declaration, where someone identifies himself or herself as a Christ-follower. At Fairhaven, we’re thrilled to see people being baptized every month. Here are some of the reasons people are getting baptized:

Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I want to take the next step.

I want to make a public declaration of my relationship with Christ.

I’ve strayed from my faith. This is me coming back.

I was baptized as an infant, but now as an adult, it’s different.

I’ve grown to a better understanding of who Jesus is and what He did for me.

Baptisms typically take place on the second Sunday* of the month (Jan.-Nov.) during worship services. Online registration in advance of your requested baptism date is requested.
