Seeing as a lot of writers are participating in the Novel National Writing Month this November, the chain is opened to everyone on the subject of writing. Those participating in the chain and in NaNo make the post relative to their current NaNo experience and goals. For those not participating in the November Novel National Writing Month, we get the opportunity to share our writers survival list relating to our own writing experiences. 

Seeing as I am multi-functional being as I enjoy engaging in all types of experience depending on how I feel in the moment, I thought I’d share a Writers Survival list in regards to using writing as an example as an expression of oneself in that moment. This list also relates to the whole experience of living more present in each experience, and just being honest with how you are feeling in this precise moment, and how you choose to express and share that creation of art from within, to others.

Ana’s Writing Survival List -Expressing yourself and experiences as they are

• Being – As you are, how you feel, what’s going on, grounded in this experience. Aware of that, but without taking too much focus on it and just being appreciative of the overall moment consisting of everything as it is, without judgement or analysis.
• Truth – Stems from being in that moment and all that is going on within you and around. You don’t need to talk to understand the truth of the current moment, as you can just see it for what it is and from that capture. A different means to express the experience through the truth of that moment, can be projected in various ways i.e. a painting, a poem, a craft, a picture etc.
• Awareness - Encapsulates being and truth and reasonates with how you perceive the moment as it is. Brings insight to what’s going on and how you feel. You can reach new levels of awakening by being aware of how you are feeling and what is going on around you, and in people.

The one thing that links all these three together to the moment of now is appreciation no matter what it is, and how you are feeling. Being appreciative of who you are, as you are and each experience you engage in, is one of the most liberating and truthful things you could ever do, for where you are.

"Artists without hands at work"

These postcards are created by individuals who can’t paint with their hands, because they don’t have the opportunity to do so because of life changing experiences. All these paintings have been painted by Artists using either their mouth or their feet and they have formed The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists Association. This Association is dedicated to Artists who have been deprived of the use of their hands by illness, injury or birth defect and who have learned to draw and paint with the brush in the mouth or with the toes.  The Association gives all members the opportunity to earn their living as Artists through sales of their paintings, reproduced through cards, calendars and many other items. 

It goes to show that there are so many wonderful ways of expressing oneself with and without limitations, and that the being in expression is much more powerful when creating what one feels. For that I share my own experience of being in creation through the art of a moment, and find that there is delicacy in every experience and that it can touch one in many ways unimaginable, like it does so these Artists.

Mesmerized by the kindness

“Grace is the power that may overcome all violence because it is at home in the hearts of all human beings.” Sabine Lichtenfels The Global Grace Day is a special initiative by a growing movement of individuals and groups all over the world. The movement cannot and should not be identified with a specific group or organization; it is an expanding movement of those who have started to develop the quality of Grace in their hearts. You will recognize them not by their signs and signals, but by the way they behave, act and talk.

A text of meditation, written and distributed by Sabine Lichtenfels, peace activist and initiator of the Grace movement is at the center of the different activities and meditations which take part worldwide every year on the same day. This text expresses that we, as humankind, can no longer accept the inner and outer walls which we built between people, between lovers, and between human beings and nature. In all places taking part, the meditation text by Sabine Lichtenfels should be read out loud as a meditation at the time of sunrise. This simple ritual will connect us all and serve as an energetic sign for overcoming animosity and separation.

Various groups around the world interpret the day in their own ways once they have begun to understand the quality of GRACE in their hearts.

Why 9th of November?

Throughout history, the 9th of November has seen both the force of cruelty and the power of liberation. On the 9th of November, 1938, known as the “Crystal Night,” hundreds of synagogues were burned down in Germany and more than 30,000 Jewish people were deported to concentration camps. On the 9th of November, 1989, the Berlin wall, acting as a barrier between two ideologies, was finally taken down.

Many peace movements around the world now use the 9th of November as a day of opportunity to create a common peace power that no longer allows cruelty and separation between humans and on our planet.
