Of all the things that you could choose to do with your life, serving in ministry may be the most fulfilling. It is important to understand that ministry is not an easy job. It has its own set of challenges. Ministry may be one of the most difficult vocations there is today. The key is to remember that ministry is more fulfilling than it is easy and more rewarding than it is hard. You will have peace and joy as a result of fulfilling God’s will for your life.

Sometimes young people who experience the call of God discover that their families may be opposed or non-supportive of their call to ministry. It is not easy exploring the call of God without the emotional or financial support of your family. The lack of family support can be difficult, but it is no reason to give up on the journey. God will sustain, support, and provide for your call as you continue to trust Him.

At this stage in your life, sexual temptation may be the greatest threat to destroying your ministry.
Knowing God’s plan can be difficult. A person needs discernment when sorting through the possibilities of God’s call. One difficultly we face when exploring the call of God is understanding the terms involved. We often confuse our spiritual gifts, burdens, and being led by God with His call.

In this podcast, we are going to talk about three common misunderstandings that are often confused with the call of God. If we are not careful, this confusion could cause us to miss what God has for us.

When it comes to choosing a Bible college, there are many variables to consider; it’s up to you to prioritize them. It is never too early to seek God’s guidance in selecting a Bible college that is right for you.
The Ministry is a "being" profession. In other words, who you are is more important than what you do. The Bible makes it clear that a minister’s moral and spiritual qualities qualify him more than his gifts or natural abilities. After examining 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, we can identify twenty qualities that define a minister's character. Learning to implement these qualities will help you respond more quickly to the Spirit's conviction in order to initiate change in your life. Remember to keep the faith and continue to Explore the Call.

One of the most important questions every high school student asks is, "What will I do with my life?" That question is appropriate for any young person getting ready to face the future and imagining themselves in a career. But for a Christian, discovering what God wants them to do with their life is much deeper because it is a spiritual matter.

No time, resources, or effort that are spent exploring the possibilities of God’s will are ever wasted. Serving in ministry is one of the greatest things you can do with your life.

Ministry is a high calling. Why? Here are four reasons.

Explore the Call is the result of a collaborative effort between Pastor Gene Roncone and Zion Bible College. Pastor Roncone has spent years studying the call of God and meeting with high school students exploring the call in weekly small group settings.
