[Press Release] Evolving Gold Defines Extensive Zone of Gold Mineralization at Rattlesnake Hills

    - Re-assay Program Increases Grade by 10%
- 30-35 Hole Drill Program Scheduled for Early May

VANCOUVER, April 14 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE: EV7) has defined a zone of gold mineralization at the North Stock target approximately 450 meters long (1,480 ft), 200 meters wide (660 ft), and extending from surface to at least 550 meters deep (1,800 ft) where it remains open. It is also open to the west, east and south and may continue to the north as it wraps around the margin of the North Stock diatreme. Within this zone of gold mineralization 41.6% of all meters of core drilled by Evolving Gold fall within significant intervals of gold mineralization, defined as being at least six meters long with a grade cutoff of 0.25 gpt Au.

Similar gold mineralization has been intersected in the Antelope Basin target approximately 725 meters (2,380 ft) south of North Stock. Alteration patterns and structural features indicate potential continuity of gold mineralization between North Stock, Antelope Basin and South Stock, a further 250 meters (820 ft) to the south.

Re-Assay Program Increases Grade at Rattlesnake Hills

The metallic screen fire re-assay program has increased the average grade of re-assayed intervals of gold mineralization by 10% to 0.96 gpt (0.028 opt Au) from 0.872 gpt (0.025 opt Au). The high grade intersections previously reported are 146.3 meters at 2.92 gpt Au (480 feet at 0.085 opt Au) and 131.1 meters at 2.84 gpt Au (430 feet at 0.083 opt Au) in holes 65 meters apart. To view a complete table of assays, go tohttp://evolvinggold.com/images/Compl... .

"The 10% increase in grade is particularly significant because of the large zone of gold mineralization," said Quinton Hennigh, Evolving Gold's President and Chief Geologist. "Our new drill program will expand our understanding of this gold system and will better define both the high grade mineralization and the geometry and potential for a large, open pit target."

Similar Gold Projects

The cutoff of 0.25 gpt gold is similar to the current cutoff for the open pit, heap leach gold mine at Cripple Creek, Colorado which is currently being mined by AngloGold Ashanti. The 0.96 gpt Au average grade for all significant intervals of gold mineralization at Rattlesnake compares favorably with the average grades mined in other large, open pit milling operations and development projects such as the Fort Knox mine (Kinross) in Alaska, the Lake Cowal mine (Barrick) inAustralia, the Cadia open pit (Newcrest) in Australia, and the Boddington development (Newmont) in Western Australia.

Rattlesnake Drilling Program

The drill program scheduled to start in early May is planned for 30-35 core holes for a total of 12,000-15,000 meters (39,000-49,000 ft) of drilling. The drill program will test extensions of the higher grade mineralization at North Stock and will also test extensions and size potential of the halo gold mineralization, particularly to the south of the North Stock into the Antelope Basin and South Stock target areas. Evolving will also test for continuity of near-surface gold mineralization between the North Stock and Antelope Basin, approximately 725 meters (2,380 ft) south of North Stock and continue to the South Stock target, a further 250 meters (820 ft) to the south.

Metallurgical Testing

Evolving Gold has initiated bottle roll cyanide leach tests on halo mineralization. This is the first step in a program of metallurgical test work at Rattlesnake. Leach tests will be followed by additional metallurgical test work on the gravity and floatation concentration characteristics the gold mineralization.

[Press Release] Evolving Gold Reports Increased Grades for Rattlesnake Hills Gold System

VANCOUVER, Feb. 12 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV:EVG) FSE:EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that metallic screen re-assays have significantly increased gold values in both lower grade and high grade sections.

These re-assays indicate potential that the true grade may be significantly higher than indicated by the original 30g fire assays. The Company is conducting a larger re-assay program of lower grade intervals using metallic screen assay protocols.

Summary of Previous Assay Data for Rattlesnake Hills

The Company previously announced coherent intervals of high grade gold mineralization in holes 65 meters apart:

These long aggregate intervals, though not continuous, indicate a large zone of gold mineralization starting close to the surface. The large halo of lower grade gold mineralization, surrounding the high grade gold zones, is typical of other large alkaline gold systems such as Cripple Creek in Colorado where historic mining produced approximately 20 million ounces of gold from high grade underground operations. Anglo Ashanti is currently mining the low grade halo to the high grade gold mineralization at Cripple Creek in an open pit with a nominal cutoff of approximately 0.25 gpt gold.

Final Assay Results for Phase 1 Drill Program

Drill holes RSC-010 and 015 were aimed to test the western extension of the high grade gold in drill holes RSC-003 and 007. The high grade zone appears to pass between these two drill holes. It is clear that hole RSC-015 deviated away from the projected high grade zone, and hole RSC-010 failed when it encountered a large void at about 70 m depth well before reaching the projected high grade zone. RSC-008 and RSC-014 failed to reach the contact target zone.

Phase Two Drill Program

Dr. Quinton Hennigh, Chief Geologist and President explains, "With the fifteen drill holes we have completed at Rattlesnake, we are beginning to define the geology and controls on gold mineralization. Within the next month, we will present a detailed analysis of all our results and a comprehensive model of this large system."

"This model will outline our plans for our Phase Two drill program in 2009 which will continue to define the size and grade potential of the North Stock Diatreme and test additional targets such as Antelope Basin, South Stock and the intervening ground between these targets. Three core drills will be employed to aggressively drill at least 12,000 meters. We are anxious to get back to drilling and hope to be started as soon as early May."

About Evolving Gold Corp.

Our focus is finding multi-million ounce gold deposits in proven gold producing areas in Western USA. Our geoscience team has over 200 years of collective experience.

Evolving Gold has over $17 million in its treasury.

Additional Assay Information for Rattlesnake Hills

The assays were implemented by the SGS Group. Samples were analyzed by 30g fire assay and an ICP finish, and all values over 10 gpt gold were re-assayed by 30g fire assay and gravimetric finish. All metallic screen fire assays were undertaken by the SGS Group, with the coarse fraction assayed in its entirety and two 30g fire assays completed for the fine fraction. Accurate estimates of the true widths of the mineralized intersections are not available at this early stage in the exploration program on the property.

VANCOUVER, Jan. 13 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV:EVG) (FSE:EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to announce additional assay results which continue to expand the zone of gold mineralization. Hole RSC-012 intersected an aggregate of 359.6 meters of 0.90 gpt gold (1,179ft of 0.026 oz/ton) in seven intervals.

"The results from RSC-012 confirm and expand the size of the zone of gold mineralization at Rattlesnake and provide first indications of significant near surface mineralization. The expansion of the zone of lower grade gold mineralization is encouraging. Previous drilling indicates that it can contain long intervals of higher grades (news release 12/2/08)." comments Evolving Chief Geologist and President, DrQuinton Hennigh.

Interpretation of the drill results to date indicates a large volume of mineralized schist extending and open to the south and southwest of the North Stock target, potentially connecting with mineralization in Antelope Basin and South Stock.

Drill hole RSC-012 intersected long intervals of gold mineralization starting at 13.7 meters down hole. Using a nominal cutoff of 0.25 gpt gold, RSC-012 intersected an aggregate of 359.6 meters (1,179 ft) in seven intervals with an average grade of 0.90 gpt gold (0.026 oz/ton). These intervals include zones of higher grade mineralization (see table below).

The best and highest grade gold mineralization is concentrated in the schist. The diatreme breccia appears to be largely post-mineral in age with relatively discontinuous and lower grade gold mineralization. Drill hole RSC-013, which drilled into the diatreme breccia, intersected lower grade gold mineralization - an aggregate of 131.1 meters of 0.43 gpt gold in four intervals starting at 19.8 meters and ending at 285.5 meters. This is consistent with our improved geological model for Rattlesnake.

Rattlesnake Hills Project

Evolving Gold has completed fifteen core holes at its Rattlesnake Hills project, for a total of 6,524 meters. Assays are still pending for drill holes RSC-014 and RSC-015, as well as two short drill holes, RSC-008 and RSC-010, all in the North Stock target area.

The Rattlesnake Hills project is a volcanic hosted alkalic gold system similar to other volcanic complexes in the Rocky Mountain alkalic gold province, including Zortman-Landusky in Montana, Ortiz in New Mexico and Cripple Creek in Colorado where approximately 20,000,000 ounces gold has been produced from high grade zones. At Cripple Creek, Anglo Ashanti Limited currently operates in its open pit with a cutoff of approximately 0.25 gpt gold. Evolving Gold has an option to acquire 100 percent of the Rattlesnake Hills property. In connection with the acquisition of the Rattlesnake Hills property, Evolving Gold filed a NI 43-101 compliant report which is available atwww.sedar.com.

Accurate estimates of the true widths of the mineralized intersections are not available at this early stage in the exploration of the property.

About Evolving Gold Corp.

Evolving Gold is focusing its exploration program on its Rattlesnake Hills discovery property. Evolving also holds eight other gold properties primarily in Nevada, including a lease agreement with Newmont Mining Corp. on four prospective gold properties (North Carlin District Properties) located within the prolific Carlin Gold Trend (see press release 12/5/2007).

Evolving Gold has approximately $17.5 million in its treasury.

In compliance with National Instrument 43-101, Quinton Hennigh, Ph.D., P.Geo., Chief Geologist and President of Evolving Gold Corp. is the Qualified Person responsible for the accuracy of this news release.

VANCOUVER, Dec. 17 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE:EV7) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has defined a large halo of gold mineralization around the high grade zones at its Rattlesnake Hills project. The Company previously reported coherent high grade gold mineralization - 2.92 grams per tonne (gpt) over 146 meters and 2.74 gpt over 131 meters - in holes which are 65 meters apart. The large halo of gold mineralization around these high grade zones include an aggregate down hole interval of 307.4 meters of 0.77 gpt (1,010 ft of 0.022 oz/ton), 274.0 meters at 0.65 gpt (900 ft of 0.019 oz/ton) and 269.1 meters at 0.55 gpt (885 ft of 0.016 oz/ton). Assays for 6 holes are still pending.

"The coexistence of high grade gold zones with large volume of low-grade is common in similar large alkaline gold systems such as Cripple Creek in Colorado where approximately 20,000,000 ounces gold has been produced from high grade zones. At Cripple Creek, Anglo Ashanti Limited currently mines the halo of lower grade gold mineralization in an open pit to a nominal cut-off of about 0.25 gpt gold." commentsDr. Quinton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist, Evolving Gold Corp.

All of the drill holes in the North Stock target intersect long intervals of halo gold mineralization. The aggregate lengths of the intervals of halo gold in these drill holes confirm the large potential size of the North Stock target. A nominal cutoff of 0.25 gpt was employed. The broad halo of gold mineralization is associated with the higher grade gold zones previously reported. This halo mineralization includes some short intervals of higher grade and some internal zones that fall below the cutoff.

Following is a table with the highlights of both the high grade zones and the halo gold mineralization:

[Press Release] Evolving Gold Reports Results from North Carlin Drill Program

VANCOUVER, Dec. 12 - Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE:EV7) (the "Company") completed its 2008 drill program on its North Carlin District Properties in late September, and all outstanding assay results have been returned. Rock conditions at the Sheep Creeks and Boulder Valley properties were very poor resulting in slower drilling and higher costs. Planned drilling on the Carlin and Cottonwood Creek properties was suspended due to permitting issues.

"Our North Carlin Drill Program has been both exciting and frustrating. The results substantiated the Company's model that gold mineralization could be found at reasonable depth in an area between the Carlin and Getchell trends. At the same time, we encountered extremely difficult ground conditions causing the termination of several holes. Given our discovery at Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming and the current state of the market, we will conduct a careful analysis to determine how to proceed with further exploration at the North Carlin Properties." states Chief Geologist and President,Dr. Quinton Hennigh.

Sheep Creeks

The Company previously reported (press release 1/23/08) that a reverse circulation drill hole encountered 235 meters of anomalous mineralization averaging 0.23 grams per tonne (gpt) gold from 216 meters depth to the bottom of the hole at 451 meters, with individual 1.6 meter intervals ranging up to 1.56 gpt gold.

A subsequent core drill hole reported intermittent highly anomalous gold values ranging from 0.1 gpt to a high value of 4.8 gpt. Significant intervals include 4 meters grading 1.69 gpt gold from 347-351 meters including a 2 meter interval of 3.12 gpt gold from 348-350 meters. Highly anomalous pathfinder elements including arsenic, antimony, mercury and thallium accompany anomalous gold values. A one meter interval at 338 metres depth returned 196 gpt silver. All mineralization occurs in volcanic rocks (press release 2/28/08).

Further core hole drilling was completed by late September on the Sheep Creeks property with results as follows:

RCC-002 intersected intermittent intervals of anomalous gold, 0.1-0.6 gpt, at depths of 291-429, 444-481, 522-539 and 552-584. The hole was collared approximately 120 meters SW of RC-001, drilled vertically and terminated at 584 meters, The highest individual assay was 1.06 gpt gold over 1 meter at 463 meters.

RCC-003 encountered anomalous gold, 0.1-0.4 gpt, with highly anomalous pathfinder elements beginning at 304 meters to 400 metres, the end of the hole. All mineralization is hosted by volcanic rocks. This hole was abandoned at 400 metres when snowmelt caused flooding along the access to the drill site and operations were abruptly suspended for two months. Two intervals, each 1 meter long, encountered high grade silver mineralization, 230 gpt at 337 meters and 120 gpt at 341 meters.

RCC-004 and RCC-005 were terminated due to poor ground conditions.

RCC-006, was drilled to a depth of 907 meters and encountered intermittent anomalous gold values, 0.1-0.7 gpt, from 288 meters to the end of the hole, often associated with anomalous pathfinder elements. Several narrow epithermal quartz veins were intersected with associated silver grades of 10-100 gpt. Carbonaceous argillites were encountered beneath volcanic cover beginning at 553 meters.

Boulder Valley

Six holes, three reverse circulation and three diamond core, were attempted on various targets at the Boulder Valley property on the northern Carlin Trend. All holes failed to reach their target depths due to poor ground conditions. A follow-up IP survey indicates these holes appear to have failed in a gravel horizon lying between volcanic cover and underlying sedimentary rocks at depths of 300-400 meters. Consideration is being given to how these targets might be drilled in the future.

Jake Creek

An extensive mercury vapor survey was undertaken by Evolving Gold on the 100% owned Jake Creek property. Four robust anomalies have been identified, each covering an area several hundred meters in diameter. Three of these lie in the NW portion of the property approximately 5 km SE of the Twin Creeks mine owned by Newmont Mining. One of these anomalies is situated over an historic drill hole drilled by Gold Fields Exploration in the late 1980's that reportedly encountered significant anomalous gold values and pathfinder elements. Evolving is considering a four-hole drill program to test these anomalies.

Carlin and Cottonwood Creek

In late September, planned drilling on the Carlin and Cottonwood Creek properties was suspended due to permitting complications. Newmont Mining has agreed to defer Evolving's work commitments on these properties.

About Evolving Gold Corp.

Evolving Gold is focused on its discovery property - Rattlesnake Hills, Wyoming. Assay results for the first seven holes reveal an intersection of 2.92 Grams/Tonne over 146 Meters (RSC 003) and 2.74 Grams/Tonne over 131 meters (RSC 007). The Company has completed a 15 hole, 6,500 meter drilling program on this property with the remaining assay results coming out over the next months. Drillhole RSC 007 has intersected 131 meters of 2.74 grams/tonne gold (g/t). The re-assay of Hole RSC 003 using metallic screen fire assays has improved the results to 2.92 grams/tonne gold (g/t gold) over 146.3 meters.

Re-Assay of Drill Hole RSC-003 (North Stock):

Because of the visible gold and high grades encountered in drill hole RSC-003, (see news release 8/9/08), portions of the results were re-assayed using metallic screen fire assay protocols. In the re-assay the 146.3 meter interval has improved from 2.48 g/t to 2.92 g/t gold. A comparison of specific intervals is detailed in the table below:

Drill Hole RSC-007 (North Stock):

Hole RSC-007 was drilled to the south and collared approximately 65 meters to the southwest of hole RSC-003. Hole RSC-007 is interpreted to intersect the same zone of gold mineralization in the upper portion of the drill hole as was intersected in the upper portion of hole RSC-003. The bottom of RSC-007 is also interpreted to intersect the beginning of the lower zone of mineralization observed in hole RSC-003. This hole ended in gold mineralization of 2.58 g/t gold at 554.1 meters. The more significant intervals from hole RSC-007 are:

A re-assay program of metallic screen fire assays will be completed for the higher grade sections of hole RSC-007.

Drill Holes RSC-004 and 005 (North Stock):

These two drill holes drilled on the southeast portion of the North Stock target, intersected numerous zones of 0.X -1.X gpt gold. Some of the better intersections are shown in the tables below:

Drill Hole RSC-006 (North Stock):

Some of the better intersections include:

Rattlesnake Hills Project

Evolving Gold has completed fifteen core holes at its Rattlesnake Hills project, for a total of 6,524 meters.

The Rattlesnake Hills project is a volcanic hosted alkalic gold system similar to other volcanic complexes in the Rocky Mountain alkalic gold province, including Cripple Creek in Colorado, Zortman-Landusky in Montana, and Ortiz in New Mexico. Evolving Gold has an option to acquire 100 percent of the Rattlesnake Hills Property. In connection with the acquisition of the Rattlesnake Hills prospect, Evolving Gold filed a NI 43-101 compliant report which is available atwww.sedar.com.

Additional Assay Information for Rattlesnake Hills

Assays are still pending for holes RSC-008 through 015, all in the North Stock target. Accurate estimates of the true widths of the mineralized intersections are not available at this early stage in the drilling program.
