Facebook is really creative. We witnessed the changing of the profile interface from and ordinary wall into an interactive wall as they introduced Timeline. And now, here comes the newest Picture Viewer Interface of Facebook in which it amazes me. Based on the picture, it is now easy to put your comment because the picture is on the side of the comment section; you will just scroll the scroll bar when you want to see the comments without changing the position of the picture.

According to a new study from the Archives of Neurology it has been prove that playing brain stimulating games can improve your memory and could delay or even prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s disease. Traditional brain games are scientifically designed to boost cognitive activity and enhance memory according to mashable.

But scientist found out that games which requires focus like Angry Birds, can give the brain a healthy exercise. Scientists said that playing games, writing and reading could slow the growth of Amyloid, the brain protein that scientists think that might be the cause of the memory loss.

The best example of this, is the one-hundred-year-old Kathleen Connell from United Kingdom. She spends a couple of hours per day playing brain games on her Nintendo DS in order to keep her mind young. Connell’s favorite games include Art Academy, Scrabble and Family and Brain Trainer. The game Brain Trainer calculated Connell’s mental age at 64, pretty amazing!

If this is true and same with the study, all of us should play brain games now, so that our brain will stay sharp.

Miss Susan Fuentes (whose real name is Susan Toyogan) is a Visayan singer and the “Queen of Visayan Songs” in the late ‘70s and '80s. She popularized various Visayan songs like Cebuano, Boholano and Ilonggo. She was the original singer of the most famous song 'Miss Kita Kung Christmas'.

According to FREEMAN, Susan was born in Butuan City and grew up in a music-loving household. At the age of five, she was already joining amateur contests and entertaining people. Her promising talent landed her a feature in Bisaya magazine, and soon after high school, she was brought to Manila with the help a family friend to sign up with Alpha Records. Not too long after, she transferred to Gem Recording, where she was built up and packaged as the “Queen of Visayan Songs.”

It has recently been revealed that the member of SPICA, Kim Bo Hyung was previously a YG Entertainment trainee and is preparing to debut as a member of 2NE1.

Kim Bo Hyung is the lead vocal of SPICA, and for 2 years, the singer trained with the 2NE1 members under YG Entertainment. In an interview conducted with SportsKorea on January 31st, Kim Bo Hyung said, “I trained with the four 2NE1 members, however after 2NE1 made their debut as a 4-member group, CEO Yang Hyun Suk introduced me to this new label and I eventually became a member of SPICA.”

According to her, “I learned a lot from YG Entertainment and they taught me everything from A-Z. When I look at past videos of myself as a YG trainee, I can see where I was lacking. I want to develop those areas and become a more mature musician as a member of SPICA.”

Agusan Gold Image: One of a Kind

The Agusan Gold Image also known as The Golden Tara was found in Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. According to the history, The Golden Tara was found by a Manobo woman named Bilay Campos on July 1917 at the river bank of Wawa river of the said town. The word Tara was a Sanskrit name which is a Goddess from the religion Valjryana Buddhism.

From GMA's documentary in titled "Philippine Treasure", according to Bilay's grand daughter, Aling Constancia , the Golden Tara was stolen and never been gave to anyone, which according to the history, it was given to Baclagon then passed to Agusan Coconut Company, because of debt. Then H. Otley Beyer tried to sell the image to the National Government of the Philippines for its National Museum but unfortunately the government doesn't have enough money to buy the image. The said image was above 18-Karat and a height of 7 inches.

But since 1920, the Field Museum has been its home.

Bayang Barrios (born on June 12, 1968 to parents of Lumad origin) is a Filipino musician who hails from Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, and is known for her use of indigenous instruments and styles.
In 2005, Barrios' song Isipin Mo Na Lang was used in end credits of the indie Filipino film Ang Pagdadalaga Ni Maximo Oliveros (The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros). In September 2008, she launched her fourth album entitled "Biyaya".

Bayang Barrios of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur flew to stardom when she won the Grand Prize at the prestigious 2003 Metro Manila Pop Music Festival for her song Malayo Man, Malapit Din.
