In 1994, I came into Lagos with my cousine Felix on an attarchment on an old luxirious bus. We entered into the city of Eko at about 5pm with our bags occupying a few faded clothes. We had taken our journey from Kaduna, a city in the north of Nigeria.

On our arrival at the motor park at Yaba, we were amazed at the lifestyle of so many youths; drinking the local gin "paraga", smoking marijuana"igbo", and dancing to a local music "fuji". These particular people did'nt care about the next person, as there could easily pick up a fight and unleash terror on innocent people who are doing legitimate businesses.

They would harras people to extort money from them and other valuables. Thier population has being on an alarming rate,because they multiply by the day in a geometric form.

we later learned that this folks don,t just exist on thier own, but through the area fathers(ignorant politicians:former area boys)..

There has being this talk about the Lagos mega city;how possible is this project achievable? has been the question on the lips of Lagosians. some believe it's a wild goose chase, and others thing it's quite a venture.

In the bid to make Lagos a world class city, the Fashola administration has employed some keep Lagos clean approach to achieving its goal: street beautification,street lights rehabilitation, and illegal structures demolition are all the strategies. Trust Lagosians; all these have been trailed by mixed feelings.

Have you been to Oshodi lately? The ever bustling area in Eko just about 45mins. drive from the International Airport. An area which in the past played host to several social unrest and hosted the miscriants popularly known as Area Boys.An area known for its notoreity has become a Love Garden
