This is the first track on Computer Club’s latest EP entitled ‘Win or Lose’ that dropped January 15th on Exploratory Recordings.

The vision for this label is to release music in the bass music and house worlds, with a no holds barred attitude towards genres. First up is the Win Or Lose EP which features collaborations with notable artists Must Die!, Anna Yvette, and Gosteffects, plus also features a remix from Infuze. This EP features a bit of a departure for the Computer Club sound, starting with the safe confines of house music, but delving into more experimental realms of drum and bass and trap.

Kill The Noise Attacks Beta Nightclub

Kill The Noise destroyed Halloween this year when he threw down at the Beatport office. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t some sort of animal sacrifice going on behind the tables.

I Love Techno 2012 Recap

Each and every year my friends and I are tempted to fly to Belgium in November to see the shitshow that is I Love Techno.

This year was no different in many respects. (Mainly because we didn’t go…again.)

However, we wonder, “What would it be like if we actually grew a pair and went.”

Mystery solved

Nothing like witnessing Netsky perform live with 10,000 other people, eh?

I really need to go to I Love Techno before I’m too old.

Sub Focus Feat Alpines – Tidal Wave

If you’re not into Drum & Bass as much as I am then consider this collaboration a decent introduction into the genre, featuring UK producer Sub Focus and London based Alpines.

There’s something utterly intoxicating about Alpines lead vocalist, Catherine Pockson‘s powerful vocals on this track. Almost haunting…The pulsating notes in the background coupled with the repetitive bass line reminds me of the ocean itself. (Digital Ocean that is :)

Not that this song needs any help but if so some reason you’re not into it, check out the remixes from Flosstradamus, KillSonik and Chuckie below.

I highly recommend listening to the KillSonik remix. It takes the original track to an entirely new level.

Madeon – Finale (Netsky Remix)

Now you’re probably sitting there wondering, “Who is this Madeon fella?”

Madeon‘s The City EP released last week, and one of the tracks included the Netsky remix to Finale. Finale is great by itself but compared to this Netsky remix, there is no comparison. Netsky really amps up the melody of the original adding his signature drum & bass that is truly addicting.

I mean, truly addicting. I’ve listened to this track at least seven times before I thought I’d share it with you.

Netsky is one of my favorite drum & bass artist to date. Period. Make sure you grab this track along with the rest of the EP on Beatport or you could always steal it.

The choice is entirely yours.

Colorado: Entrepreneurial By Nature

Seth Levine, managing director at the Boulder, CO based Foundry Group, seems like a pretty cool guy. I saw that he’s spearheading an effort to put Colorado on the map (if it isn’t already) as a entrepreneurial hub with the launch of Colorado: Entrepreneurial by Nature. Read an excerpt from Seth’s blog below:

Today we’re launching Colorado Entreprenurial by Nature – a grass roots campaign created by a handful of entrepreneurs in our community to show support of that ecosystem. The goal is simple. We’re giving members of our community an easy way of showing their pride in the entrepreneurial community we’re building in our state. We hope that this will help us both encourage entrepreneurship in our community and attract new entrepreneurs to come to Colorado to start their businesses.

Joining is easy. Head to the Colorado Entrepreneurial by Nature website and download the badge (it comes in a number of different colors and sizes). Display it proudly on your company or personal website. We’ve made some stickers up as well which you can fly proudly on your laptop/car/bike/etc. They’ll be showing up around Denver and Boulder at a handful of coffee shops and other places where entrepreneurs congregate.

Zomboy – Nuclear (Hands Up)

Zomboy came out with The Dead Symphonic EP a few weeks back and if you haven’t checked it out, you should do so immediately. All of the tracks are incredible but the one that really sticks out is Nucelar. Dubstep…Drumstep…Creepstep…whatever you want it call it is fine but the fact remains, it’s an incredible tune.
