At this time of year I feel very sorry for the homeless. I knew of a young man who lived in a bus shelter with his mum for a number of years. His mum died at a very young age however now from help and support from a number of my friends he now has a flat and a job.

However how many other people are there that may need help.

Though the popular perception of homeless people is one of vagrants often living in "cardboard cities", the reality is very different. People of all ages and from all walks of life may find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons, and suddenly reliant on various charities or the goodwill of friends for shelter and survival.
