It took about six hours to get here. I came down to go check out my college. I've been accepted to Hood College and I haven't actually visited it yet, so I came down for Student Admittance Day; which is tomorrow. I'll be driving back home tomorrow night.

Besides that, Hood is in a great location. Frederick is really nice. There's plenty of shops and stores around, it has a great atmosphere, and it just feels really good. Like I don't have to worry about walking down the street and getting shot like back home. lol!

I explored the area and there's lots to do. Baltimore is about a half hour to 45 minutes away and Washington D.C. is about the same.

I went around Hood today in the car and just looked at all the buildings and such. Tomorrow I'll actually be able to go look at how everything is inside, ask questions, and see everything else they have to offer.

So far I like what I've seen. Everything looks kept well and not rundown. Also, the people in Frederick just seem really REALLY nice. Like in Connecticut it's definitely not this friendly. Not at ALL. XD

I hope everything goes well tomorrow; and that I'll be able to figure out everything that I need to so that I can get settled to go to Hood.

Oh! There was a really huge bookshop in Frederick. There were rows and rows of books stacked to the ceiling. It felt like I was in that movie Pagemaster. Anyway, there was a manga section and the manga was pretty cheap. They had some out of print manga and stuff that I've been looking for. In the end I bought, Astro Boy vol. 14, Kindaichi Case Files vol. 1+2, and FMA vol. 1.

So far so good and hopefully it'll stay that way.

Bloody Knives!

I need acting help like... now! I'm off from school this entire week for winter break and I always try to put a day away just for anime and yesterday was that day.

I caught up on alllllllll the anime that I was behind on, because some how I got 19 episodes of anime behind, so I caught up on that. Afterward I watched Death Note, because I didn't see it for like a week or so. Needless to say, I started at episode 10 yesterday and I saw up to episode 27. When episode 27 rolled around I just needed to sleep, so I'm finishing it off today.

I made a giant cookie for breakfast this morning, because I can, and this time it has double chocolate chips (semi-sweet and milk chocolate) AND I chopped up Hershey chocolate bars to make chocolate chunks. mmmm ^_^

Today, or sometime SOON, I need to work on my soliloquy project for school, write the dedication to the yearbook, and finish my Senior will. Of course, this all comes after me finishing Death Note and maybe watching some old school, Aura Battler Dunbine, then watching episode 3 and 4 of the jDrama Mei-chan no Shitsuji, and finally watching the first and second Death Note movies. Oh, wait... I have an I-Studios meeting tonight. >_>

School work tomorrow.

P.S. Oh! It was fun besides the fact that I had to clean up the pee on the floor... and wall again. These kids really need to learn how to aim or sit the freak down on the toilet. =_=

Cleaning up the bathroom wasn't much upsetting compared to what else happened that worried me later. Mrs. Brown, the teacher I'm an aid for, was talking to me when I was helping her organize papers while the kids had free time. This is normal. We always talk when we're just organizing the kid's tests and work they did, but what's not normal is when I ask her something and she doesn't respond.

I asked her if she wanted me to put their penmanship papers on the bulletin board. I was looking down while putting tests into their folders and she didn't respond. She's pretty old so I thought maybe she didn't hear me and was like, "Mrs. Brown?" expecting to receive a "Yes?", but I didn't get any response, so I looked up.

I wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but I know it was either a seizure or an epileptic break. Her mouth was sucked in like she had no teeth, I thought she was biting her tongue, her left eye was twitching insanely fast, and she was swiveling around in her chair.

I hadn't the slightest idea what to do so I thought talking to her might be a good thing just to keep her conscious with what's going on around her. "Mrs. Brown? Are you alright?" She was completely unresponsive. Then I asked if she wanted some water and still she was twitching and the like. I asked her if she was okay and then when I said, "Do you want these papers on the board?" she tried to say something, but her mouth clamped shut again. I didn't know if I should get someone or if she even wanted me to. After several long seconds dragged by she stopped and opened her mouth. She was back to normal.

During all this I was the only one who saw what was going on, because the kids were playing with toys in the back of the room. One of the kids then came up to Mrs. Brown and asked her a question and she seemed completely fine. Mrs. Brown then told me where to hang up the papers, so I went off to do that. I looked behind me though, trying to get glances at her while I was putting papers on the board to make sure that she was okay. She was smiling and looked like nothing happened.

This is where I'm confused what to do. I didn't mention anything about what happened to her later, because I don't even know if she realized what happened or even knows that she had a seizure. Either that or she knows what happened and is so used to it that it doesn't bother her anymore. I just don't know if I should ask her or not about what happened the next time I see her. I want to because I want to know what I should do in that kind of situation, because all I did was talk; but I don't know if that would invade her privacy or not and if she would get angry.

I don't know. It was all quite the experience.

After my community service I went home and made a Valentine's Day cookie. Last year I made a red velvet cake for school, but I wanted to make something different this year. I wasn't sure what to make, because I didn't have any heart shaped pans, but then I thought of something I hadn't done before. Make a 16" cookie!

FRIDAY!

I revealed my Double Chocolate Chip 16" cookie with chocolate frosting rim, shortbread cookies painted with semi-sweet chocolate, and a "Happy Valentine's Day!" inscription in the center. *picture at top* And yes, it's all from scratch. I always make everything from scratch. XP

SATURDAY!

My cell phone crapped out or something and pissed me off. It's not the cell that's broken though, it's the smartchip inside; it shorted out or something. I'm gonna bring it to Cingular to see if they can salvage the numbers off the smartchip. If they can't... *sigh* I need to contact hundreds of people to give me their numbers again.

The latter part of Saturday, around 1 PM, started my all day DDR workout session with one of my friends! We did DDR nonstop from 1 to 7:30. We were gonna go to 10, but as soon as we ate dinner we were done. XD

Afterwards, I taught her some C++, because she wanted to know why I've been typing furiously on my laptop for the past several days at school. After that she was like "Oh! Show me anime!" I had an anime background on my laptop so I assume that's what sparked that idea. I was like... "Huh?" Like the rest of my school she is not into anime. They all think it's weird cartoons. I had Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Eureka Seven on my laptop so I showed her some. Although, I had to explain first. She was like "Wait... Anime is movies and stuff?" She was so confused. When I told her that most anime are anime series like 26 or 52 episodes she was like, "Woah!" I still have no idea what she could have possibly thought anime was if not a series or movie or something.

Anyway, I showed her the first few minutes of Paprika and she was like "Wow! It's so detailed! It looks real!" I was like thank you God! Someone finally understands that I do not watch mindless cartoons. XD

I then showed her the opening of Eureka Seven just to give her an idea that there are different styles and then I proceeded telling her about different studios and how some of them portray different art forms in the anime they produce. As far as I know it seemed liked she was paying attention.

She wanted to actually watch an anime movie after that, which really surprised me. I was not going to show her Paprika, because that would have been one wacked out first impression of anime. If you've seen Paprika you know that very few people would come out of that movie with an uplifting feeling to see more anime. I mean I love Paprika to death, but if you're new to anime that movie would freak some people out. I showed her The Girl Who Leapt Through Time instead.

We watched the whole thing and by the end she was like, "I actually enjoyed that. It was better than I thought. I didn't expect it to be that good!" She also commented throughout the movie about how detailed the backgrounds were. It just seemed like she was in awe of the movie. She laughed throughout the funny parts and gasped at the distressful scenes. In the end, it seemed she was really into it. If anything, I now have one "normal" person who doesn't think I'm weird anymore. XD

Sunday!

Hey. Today's Sunday. I'm writing this blog! wooooo! That's what I did Sunday. XP

Horse Shampoo! I was like, "Why the heck do you want horse shampoo??" Apparently it's really good for your hair and way better than what the market sells for humans.

Needless to say, I looked it up and oh my goodness. It sounds like they're selling it for humans to use. Right on the back of the bottle it gives directions for "human use." There are more directions for humans than there are for the horses.

Anyway, she bought it at Walmart along with the conditioner. Now when I woke up today there was no shampoo in the house except for her horse shampoo. Where did the regular shampoo go? I haven't the slightest clue. Since I'm lazy and didn't feel like looking for regular shampoo I used her horse shampoo and conditioner. And... why don't they just put this stuff in the human section!?

Mane and Tail horse shampoo is the best shampoo I've ever used and the conditioner makes my hair so soft and straight! Of all my 18 years of life this has been the best shampoo I have ever used. It's weird though, because...

"Oh, what shampoo do you use?"
"Mane and Tail."
"Excuse me?"
"Mane and Tail."
"Isn't that part of a horse?"
"Yeah."
"Does that mean it's for a horse?"
"Yeah."
"You're using horse shampoo??"
"Yeah."
"..."
"What?!"
"Weird..."
"It's better than the human stuff!"

Even if that does happen it's still the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. It's great! Get a bottle!

Such an infomercial... When Death Note came out I saw some of it and decided that it was stupid and dumb and I just plain did not like it. Why?? I have no idea. Because right now it's already one of my favorites.

I recently started watching Death Note again, just on a whim, to see if I was wrong about my first presumption. Duh! I thought I was just one of those people who didn't like it and that I saw something else in it that was stupid that thousands of others missed. I must say... I'm quite the ignoramus.

I don't know why I didn't like it before, but I'm glad I picked it up again; I'm loving every second of it. I'm only up to episode ten and I've heard it gets a little weary after episode twenty, so I'll just have to see where it goes. Either way, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I really have no clue why or how I procured my dislike for Death Note a couple years ago, but now... I must say I've seen the light. Or Light! HA! (what a bad pun)

I knew the plot and characters of Death Note when it came out just because I had to. Meaning, I had to know them, because I'm an otaku and I just need to know this stuff. XD But I never got the deep feeling of why it was so good, because I haven't actually experienced watching it until now.

Thank you random impulse that made me retry Death Note!

FASFA... Why do you torture me so?

Beside that my mom still has to do her taxes so that we can actually start the FASFA I have to get this thing to my college by next week. Which means we have to get all the taxes done today and THEN we can do the FASFA. Why? Why does it have to sound easy, but be so difficult? And why in goodness name does the deadline have to be so freaking close!? GARBLHAH!

That's what I'll probably be spending all Saturday doing. *sigh*

Since my mom broke her computer she has to use mine. I think I'll be on my laptop yeah... I don't know how much information she needs from me, because I know nothing about taxes or even know how to do the FASFA. I'll just be on my laptop learning C++ while she asks me questions I suppose.

I just hope I survive this. ugh~

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://domoxotaku.blogspot.com/2009/02/fasfa-oh-fasfa.html" title="FASFA... I don't know if the police like C++.

In school today I got called down to the office. I thought it was for yearbook or something, because I get called out of class sometimes to finish some pages up. BUT that is not how it was today.

Waiting for me in the office was a policeman. The first thing that popped into my mind was, "Oh crap. I got caught for *insert evil here*." Then I thought, "Oh no! My dad died!" But, no.

I went to the library the day before and apparently there was a hit and run there; and the cop wanted to ask me if I saw anything. I didn't see anything, so that's what I told him. After telling him why I was there, what I was doing, and that I didn't see anything, he let me go. I swear he thought I hit the person. XP

It just freaked me out in the slightest, because I don't think a cop has ever entered my school. Really. I go to a private school and we just never have the need for the cops to come, so that's why I was the tiniest bit like, "Oh shoot."

Besides that, I've been learning C++. "C++ Without a Fear"! Who knows how long it's going to take me to even learn all the basics of C++, but I love it! I already got through the first chapter and I was like "OOOOO! I wanna learn more!" I stop myself, though, because I have other stuff I need to do. I just find it a lot of fun.

I'm creating programs that were already made, but how else am I going to learn how to create proper strings? Once I master C++, only God knows if I'll even master it in my lifetime, I can create my own programs!

If anything I'll have fun fiddling with it. It brings me entertainment. ^_^

Who likes Fruit Punch?

I sure as heck do! If I lived down south I would be lucky if I even saw a few flakes! Up here I get inches to a foot at a time! Which means the other lovely portion of my happiness relates to me not having school when it snows. Such as today. ^_^

Although, if I have a delay tomorrow I won't be too happy; because my winter retreat with school will have to be rescheduled, which would screw a ton of things up. Hopefully that will not happen.

*ahem* Back to what I was saying.

When I think of snow I think of how if there were no Christmas specials in anime it would be highly upsetting. If there were no Christmas specials there would be no Konata and company visiting the Washinomiya Shrine! If there was no Christmas specials there would be no echii snow filled circumstances in Love Hina! If there was no Christmas specials there would be no mayhem in the Saotome household! Okay, maybe that last one was a stretch; there is always pandemonium in that house.

I just wonder sometimes, where would we be without our special Christmas episodes in anime? I was able to watch some more Dragonball episodes yesterday so woohoo!

I get side tracked easily...
This blog is supposed to be for informing about this blog. lol

I will be putting tags on each one of my blogs so that people can search for what my blogs are on. This is a bad thing, although, it's also a great thing! (Not really...) It'll be crazy insane to get good college loans and it'll be really tough to pay college off even with those... but! I, of course, being Mr. Optimist found a bright side to this little problem called economic failure.

Since stores do not want to go out of business, like Circuit City, they seem to all be having sales... like... A LOT of sales. This is ultimately bad in the end, because that just means that their businesses are going deeper and deeper into the ground; but oh how sweet for the consumer.

I mention this because when I went to the mall today every single store, EVERY SINGLE ONE, had sales. Which would be perfectly normal if it was a "Buy one get one half off" or "10% off" sale, but the majority of the stores had "80% off" stickers on all their merchandise. If I had money it would all be gone right there, but since I have limited funds I only bought a couple of things.

Bottom line is this economy is horrible and yet awesome for the consumers and producers. Like they say, "You win some, you lose some."

OH ME! OH MY! IT'S A PHOBIA!

I took my English exam today and I'm hoping I get at least an 80. It was really hard. (That's what she said.) Thankfully, my English teacher gave the class an extra credit paper that would add five points to the exam. Surprsingly, the extra credit was pretty easy. All we had to do was match the phobias to the "fear of..." on the list and we were all set. Has she heard of the internet?

Even though I was just going to take it home and look them all up on the internet later I wanted to try guessing them first.

Five minutes later... I'm done. I go home and check them online and oh me oh my I got 21 out of 26 right. Apparently my sick sense of humor enabled me to get the right answers.

The fear of pleasure...
I looked down the phobia side of the list to match it up and saw hedonophobia. I put that down. My reasoning for it being hedonophobia is quite amusing. I thought, "Hedonophobia starts with 'hed,' " which lead me to 'head', "and getting head feels pretty dang pleasurable so, the fear of pleasure! Hedonophobia it is!" What do you know? I looked it up online and it's right.

The fear of beautiful women...
This one was pretty thought provoking too. I looked down the phobia list once again and saw venustaphobia. This is how my thoughts went: "Venustaphobia... venus flytrap... vagina... fear of vaginas... fear of beautiful women!" What do you know? I got it right again. XD

I have quite the brain, I know, but it worked! I guess it's a good thing to be perverted sometimes. You might just get an 'A.' ;)

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://domoxotaku.blogspot.com/2009/01/oh-me-oh-my-its-phobia.html" title="OH ME! At least that's how I view it. After studying till late I decided to check my messages on youtube. I received a few and once again another one of the same old questions dominates the bunch. I say this, because there is always this singular question that keeps flooding my inbox. "What's your favorite anime?" I then answer with the same answer, "I have none." Depending on whom the question is from or my mood I elaborate more. My answer goes a little something like this...

"Favorite anime? Hmm... I believe that's a frivolous notion. That's like asking, 'How many hairs are on your head?' It's an impossible question and deserves an impossible answer. I would have to say my favorite anime ranges from ∞ to -∞. I have an endless list of anime I've seen and picking out a single one for my favorite is sequentially unfeasible. Choosing a top ten or even a top 100 would be hard enough, but a favorite of all time? You must be joking. Even if you think I'm being unreasonable and that I just don't want to single one out from the rest, because I'm lazy, I'm sorry. That's not so. I say don't settle for a favorite anime of all anime ever created. Just have several in mind that you really enjoyed watching and would watch or have watched more than once. Don't give an anime the 'favorite' label. Try 'highly enjoyable' or 'average', that would be more plausible and likely more helpful to yourself and others."

That's what it sounds like when I actually try to respond to that question in a serious, comedic fashion. It is the truth, though. I don't like choosing favorites and I don't think the "favorite" tag should really be used when it comes to anime.

If any desire to know what my 'Highly Enjoyable' anime are here's a few of them:

Ef - a tale of memories
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Ghost in the Shell
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Planetes
Paprika
Full Metal Panic
Lovely Complex
Eureka Seven
Magic Knight Rayearth
Clannad
and...

Honestly I really can't even make that list. It's extremely difficult. I've seen hundreds and I just can't put my finger on making a list when it comes to "Highly Enjoyable," because I never want to leave something out. If I really wanted to make a list it would have at least a hundred anime in it, maybe more.

If there are any curious minds out there that want to know what I have seen of the ever growing anime universe, here is a mostly up to date list. There are quite a number of anime missing, but I either forgotten that I've seen them or I forgot to add them to the list.

http://myanimelist.net/animelist/otakudb

Exams and Going Through Labor

Studying is like child birth. You feel like you can do it, then you get the aches and pains and you just want to get it over with! Once you deliver it’s all done. You can finally relax and be at ease. That is until you wonder how your baby is going to turn out or in other words, until you see the score on your exam.

On behalf of myself and everyone else at my school I have to say that exam week is the most stressful week out of the entire school year and it comes twice! (Midterms and Finals!) Thankfully, there is a solace for every individual. Be it reading, singing, cooking, or of course, watching anime. I don't think there is any other time out of the year that I am more thankful for anime's existence.

Although, before I can watch anime I have to study. Always got to get the annoying part done first, you know? I have to say, however nerve-racking studying for exams may be I always find a way to make it the slightest, minuscule bit enjoyable. I have been constantly told that I have one of the most amusing and unorthodox ways to study; and it helps others retain the information too. This especially happens when it comes to Chemistry.

For example, to remember the specific heat of water, which is 1 cal/g°C , I say... "Water came from my bottle, which is from the Poland Springs, which is in the mountain. There was a monster who lived there, but he's dead now, because he tried to live off of one calorie a day and ate only a gram every time the temperature rose in Celsius. He then floated down the Poland Spring river and ended up at the water bottle factory and that's when a worker decided to name the monster Specific Heat of Water. Now on Specific Heat of Water's tombstone is engraved '1 cal/g°C.' "

Besides that I also sing my ions. SING WITH ME!

C two! H three! O two! NEGATIVE! Acetate! Oh yeah acetate! You got a C two, H three, O two, negative acetate! OH! Not just an 'O'!! Oh no! Don't forget C two, H three, O two, negative! ACETATE! Oh yeah ACETATE! Ace my tate, ACETATE!"

*ahem*

On a side note, I'm fairly interested to see how the Japanese-Korean educational anime, Elementhunters, will turn out. I'm kind of really looking forward to it. I enjoyed Moyashimon extensively, but I don't think Elementhunters is going to be anything like that. Chemistry or Microbiology hmm...

Inauguration Day and... touching yourself? You know I spell his name right, because of that Obama girl? B to the A to the R-A-C-K-O-B-A-M-A!

I was going to stay home to watch the inauguration, but didn't for the sole reason that this is exam week; and I needed to go to school for any reviews that might be gone over in class before I take the tests. Thankfully, fourth period was canceled and I, with all my classmates, were able to watch as Barack Obama was sworn in as President.

Despite the seriousness of the occasion there were quite a few funny things that happened. We were watching the ABC broadcast, so this might differ if you were watching another station.

When Rick Warren was praying a camera zoomed up on a woman's face and I can only assume that her friend nudged her and pointed to the screen that was in front of them. As soon as the lady looked up she had a "Oh shoot! That's me!" face on. As that happened the entire class broke out into hysterics! I couldn't stop laughing. After a little while I was able to calm myself down, but once again another hilarious snippet presented itself.

During Rick Warren's extremely drawn out prayer, (I thought it should have ended like five minutes earlier, but no that's not what happened) he emphasized his words a little too much. He was praying for Obama's daughters and then all I remember is him saying "SASHAAAAAA!" The room immediately was echoing with laughter and I don't think I was able to hear the rest of the prayer. All I heard was "SASHAAAA!" from other students mimicing him. I do have to say, though, I did that too, but it was quite funny, I couldn't resist.

After all the funny stuff, Obama was sworn in and I kind of felt bad or not feel bad, but sympathized with him. He fumbled his words when getting sworn in. You could tell that he was nervous before that, especially when he was walking out to meet everyone, so I guess it was just the nerves taking over. He was ready to be sworn in to office though, he practically rushed right through the swearing in, tumbling his words along the way, but all was good.

I noticed one of my teachers, whom dislikes Obama, make rather the peeved face when Obama stumbled over the recitation. I'm sure other people whom don't particularly like Obama will mention that soon too.

Overall, though, President Obama's speech was great and I'm ready to see what changes he has in store for America.

Now, I'm sure whomever is reading this is wondering how "touching yourself" relates back to President Obama's swearing into office. Well... it doesn't. "Touching yourself" relates back to my day in being a teacher's aid in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

I help out the Kindergarten/1st grade teacher every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and it just so happened that something interesting was going on that she didn't notice. I really had no idea how to go about the situation, so I just didn't do much of anything. I should probably tell you what I'm talking about shouldn't I? "NO DUH!~" XP

One of the boys in 1st grade was laying down reading a story with one of the girls in Kindergarten. Normally I have no problem with this, but it was... different this time around. She was laying like on him with her hand on his chest. He obviously didn't care, buuut... he seemed bothered "down there" and didn't know what to do. He just kept like grabbing "it." *sigh*

At this point I looked up to the teacher and she's pretty old, so she didn't notice anything or just wasn't paying attention, because she was preoccupied. Since she didn't see and I did not want to tell her that he was touching himself I went over and talked to the two.

I wasn't angry, of course, because that would just make things worse. All I told them was that they needed to sit up and have some space between them; and it worked. Although, there's still that "little problem" with Mark. This isn't the first time that something like that has happened. He's in 1st grade, he doesn't know anything, and yet I'm not sure how to go about this. I asked him if anything was wrong later and he said he was fine. I'm not sure if I should tell the teacher or tell his sister or something. I know his sister, because she's in my class and she could tell her dad to talk to him. I just don't know.

I mean he's in 1st grade, this stuff shouldn't really be a problem, but maybe a talk from his dad or an adult would be a good thing? If it continues I'll say something, but hopefully it won't and I won't have to.

All in a day's work for a Kindergarten/1st grade teacher's aid I suppose. I guess it's good experience, because I might be teaching young kids like this when I'm older. Now is a good time to learn than any how to deal with it, I suppose, right?

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://domoxotaku.blogspot.com/2009/01/inauguration-day-and-touching-yourself.html" title="Inauguration Day and... touching yourself? I'm always on it or my computer is always torrenting, on IRC, or the like. I was not in any particular state of euphoria when I found that my computer was not connecting to the "wireless." Why did LAIN have to exist in the wired, why not the wireless? *sigh*

Anyway, I did not want to study anymore for midterms, especially since I just finished studying previously. I also did not feel like watching anime, because my mind needed to unwind after that intense effort to study! Anime takes a ton of brain power you know? Counting how many pantie shots in each scene or how many different ways a character says "kill" is a lot of work!

I, of course, took the alternative route to have my own down time while my internet had his. I baked a cake.

Why bake a cake? Let me list the reasons:

1. Hunger
2. Hunger + cake = pretty freakin great
3. Cake tastes good
4. I like sweets
5. Honey-kun would be very proud

While I made my cake my internet went back online and my brain became blissfully relaxed. Now, I am going to cut my cake, grab a plate and fork, head up stairs, and watch the Minami sisters probably fight over cake themselves.

Higurashi (The name that could certainly invoke fear into many hearts)

I recently started watching Higurashi... why now? I don't know. Why at all? I don't know.

I vowed to myself that when Higurashi no Naku Koro ni came out that I would not watch it. For two reasons really, 1. I did not want to damage my mind, what's left of it anyways, and 2. As much as I enjoy watching scary movies/series this anime seemed it could quite possibly give me nightmares for many nights to come. It was truly odd for me not to watch Higurashi, when it was airing in Japan, because I normally watch most of the new shows, especially when there is a lot of good feedback from viewers; and as such this could be said of Higurashi. Finally, though, I decided to check it out. I overcame my fears and decided that it was about time for me to lose some more brain cells (or gain some considering the premise of each plot)!

I watched Higurashi and still am watching it; I'm at episode 16 now. Goodness only knows for what reason that I am momentously enjoying the series. Could it be because I have a sick fetish for moe girls that wield cleavers? No! Is it because I like seeing the naked corpse of a ten year old girl pecked on by a flock of crows? No! Or could it be I love the color of blood... mmmm red~ NO! The cause for me getting pleasure out of watching Higurashi is because the show has one of the most amazing mysterious elements to it. The whole mystery of who or what Oyashiro is, is extremely intriguing and locks my eyes on the screen even when I can see the intestines hanging out of a carcass.

The animation is well done, the music quickens one's heartbeat with every rise and fall, and the plot is superbly twisted, in the sense of sick and wrong and in the sense of convoluted story telling. Overall, Higurashi keeps one with bated breath.

I, being only at episode 16, can't wait to see the rest and am definitely going to watch season two, despite the "OMG RUN! AHHHHH! NO! EWWWW!" feeling.

At this very instant I'm actually about to watch the live action. I'm not expecting it to feel the same as the anime, but with any luck still have that overall Higurashi affect. Here's hoping! *crosses fingers*

DOMO! (woah)

So, maybe not making blogs on youtube anymore has driven me a little bit insane. I only have a couple places to vent myself or anime views on people now. In other words... I CRAVE MORE ATTENTION! No no no, lol!... maybe just a little? Nah~

I just like to let myself out and share things that happen in every day life, something interesting, and I like to talk about anime and Asian pop culture. I prefer to have my life laid out on a platter for everyone to see. Why hide myself in my room... in front of a computer screen... staring... still staring... at girls in sailor uniforms flying across the screen.

Why not make a blog? Tomorrow or in another day I'll be making a video for my channel on youtube informing viewers that I now have a written blog.
