Engaged: Lauren Wessa and Nathan Harr

From teasing one another in church as third-graders to dating in high school, this couple literally grew up together. After graduation, they left Dallas for college in Louisiana and Arkansas. They made countless road trips from Louisiana State University to Hendrix College over the next four years, but it was all worth it in the end.

After college, they moved back to Dallas where Lauren began studying to be a physician assistant while Nathan started his job at STATE Inc., a sports statistics company. The pair made plans to see the closest LSU game of the season at Texas A&M at College Station. Nathan carried the ring in his pocket all weekend waiting for the perfect moment to arrive. That moment came as he got down on one knee just in front of the stadium before game time. After Lauren said “yes!” the couple and her parents watched LSU beat the Aggies 24-19 creating the perfect ending to their special day.

It’s that easy. We’ll add images from our magazine and website consistently, so always check back for recently added inspiration.

-Events: Check out trunk shows and wedding events around town in our events section. Choose from a calendar or list display. Every Monday we’ll round up the trunk shows for that week in a blog post so you’ll never miss your favorite designer’s collections when they come to town.
