The Kane Chronicles is a series of novels by Rick Riordan. Based on Egyptian mythology, the story follows characters Carter and Sadie Kane in their quest to discover the truth about their family, and save the world. It is set in the modern day United States and United Kingdom, in the same universe as Riordan’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus. The first book, The Red Pyramid, was released on May 4, 2010. The second, The Throne of Fire, followed on May 4, 2011. The third and last volume, The Serpent’s Shadow, was released on May 1, 2012.

The novels are narrated alternately by the two protagonists, siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, who discover that they are part of a magical line descended from Pharaohs Narmer and Ramses the Great. They learn of the existence of Egyptian gods and goddesses, and mythical beings such as magicians and shabti. -Wikipedia.

Sudah lama aku nggak nulis hal yang personal di blog ini. Oke, tujuan aku nulis artikel ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan analisa aku mengenai video klip @Kation3 – DJ Got Us Falling in Love dan hubungannya dengan kesolidan tim dalam membuat sebuah film.

Jadi gini, banyak yang mengapresiasi music video kami dengan baik. Meskipun, jujur menurutku video yang kami buat ini masih dibawah standar buat aku-_-. Yah, bisa lebih baik lah maksudnya. Tapi dengan banyak hal yang terjadi di belakang layar, dan kesuksesan kami membuat video ini hingga selesai, aku sangat suka sama video ini.

Yang susah dari membuat video ini adalah mengarahkan 19 orang anak yang bukanlah aktor/aktris untuk bekerja sama. Yah, pastilah ada yang semangat, males-malesan bahkan bingung mau ngapain-_-. Well, sang sutradara Galuh Ayu Aziiza berhasil melakukan ini.

Temen-temen F2PB ku banyak yang bilang video ini dibikin dengan niat banget, yap. Meskipun agak susah membentuk keniatan itu, kami berhasil menumbuhkan rasa kepemilikan dalam video ini sehingga kami bersemangat untuk menyelesaikannya. Well, dalam menumbuhkan kekompakkan ini aku sangat salut sama semuanya yang bersedia meruntuhkan ego terlebih dahulu demi kelancaran proses produksi.

Dimulai dari Gia, si pemilik konsep dan sutradara. Awalnya dia memiliki sebuah masalah yang tidaklah sederhana dengan orang yang paling dia butuhkan di situ. Aku. Tapi, kami berhasil menyingkirkan ego kami dan bisa bekerja sama dengan baik. Bahkan, aku ngerasa setelah bikin video ini, hubungan kita malah membaik. Belum lagi internal anak-anak aksel yang mempunyai konflik masing-masing. Khususnya beberapa orang yang harus se-frame. Dan alhamdulillah, kami semua bisa bekerja sama.

Lalu, aku juga suka kemampuan manajemen Shishi. Bagaimana dia mengatur penyewaan lokasi, dan juga time keeping karena waktu yang sangat tight-_-

Tapi kita juga gak bisa ngelupain bahwa lagunya memang asik dan enak dibawain bareng-bareng. Terima kasih buat para konseptor Eri, Qori, Shishi, Gia, dan semua anak yang udah vote buat lagu ini yang akan dijadiin video klip kita. Hehe.

Jadi intinya, pembuatan video ini sama aja dengan filmmaking apalagi mengenai satu hal yang fundamentalnya yaitu kekompakan dan kesamaan visi sebuah tim.

Kami membuka Open Casting dan Open Recruitment untuk menjaring bibit-bibit tim kreatif dan tim produksi yang berupa aktor/aktris dan juga para crew. Open Casting dan Open Recruitment akan diadakan tanggal 10 Februari di GSG Atas Salman ITB, Jalan Ganesha No.7 Bandung.
