Wew! At last. My Page Rank move! Well, this was just my very first time to have a PR. It was been almost 4 months or more from being 0. I been checking every blog that has a PR buttons like mine. And they have already ranked, but mine still none. So I feel very awful. And I think that my blog was still nothing to the earth of Google.

That's the other reason why I almost stop blogging. But still, I try my best. I tried every keyword that can possibly search at Google Search Engine. Keywords that have sense of course :) And that's it! I ranked PR1. I think my post about Typhoons affects it. Well, much better than none. Hahaha! Well very happy for that rank? Yes I am, of course that's my first time. But I will not stop. Thanks to those readers who supports me :) Even if I don't know you well or really don't, Thank You!

Typhoons at Philippines

I know that I'm quite late to post this kind of topic.

Anyway, last September 26, 2009, Typhoon Ondoy ruin whole Metro Manila, including other near cities. It ruins most the cities of Marikina and Rizal, because of the big rivers surrounds them. Manila and Quezon City that was not that ruined by typhoon before, was very affected now,

This video proves that. At UERM Campus:

Me too, here in our place at Novaliches, Quezon City, experience the Wrath of that Typhoon. We're that lucky because our house stands at higher place. But houses that near the river and lower than ours, they're houses were almost destroy. Fortunately on the other side, their houses were concrete the most affected only was their furniture and appliances. And they also thank God for their families were safe.

My older sister was also trapped including the others at their ways because of not normal flood at QC North Edsa. She was trapped almost 9hours on a bus. And that day also our telephone line and meralco line cut. Meralco got back their service 3 days after the typhoon, and our telephone line was just got back YESTERDAY! and I haven't get online because of that :( Anyway, I'm happy cause I'm going to get active online again :)

There's other typhoon also right after the Ondoy, the Remil, and this coming Undas (All Saint's Day), the Typhoon Santi.

I hope this'll stop soon. So let's pray.

Manila Church Trip

Hi readers! It's been a very long time before I post new topic. I really miss blogging now, it is almost 2 months and I can't update my blog because of my schoolworks, but its ok :) Enough for the introduction, I want to share our church trip in Manila last August.

That picture above is in Binondo Church. Actually, this is my first time that i've been around Manila :) Anyway, inside that church was really beautiful, very expressive and historical.

This one was in Manila Cathedral (outside).

And this was in Malate Church.

We have 4 churches visited, and the last one is the quiapo church, I can't upload the picture because my shot was not that attractive, (like the others above :D). Sorry for the low quality pictures, I used a VideoCam because we had our shooting at the same time I shot that :)

I'll upload tomorrow our video regarding to that churches. Because those were our documentary.

This site helps you minimize the space of your RAM :) You can surf now the color picker and that's it! You can now copy the same color you want. Mozilla also have a Color Picker Add-ons for their users.

How to Register at Google Adsense

Trying to Blog through E-mail

Yes, you heard it right. I wrote this post via email. 'Cause I've noticed the Email Icon above the name of my blog at my dashboard. And I have searched how to use that icon. And viola! I've made this! Haha . Here's how:

Go to Dashboard.
Click the Email icon near top-left of the Title of your Blog Name.
There will (or should) be a Pop Up window.
Type your desired secret word and the Save.
Now go to your GMail or Yahoo! Mail Account or any account you have.
Next, compose new Email, put your subject as you Post Title, and your message as the Body.
Send to the email you have selected. example: example.admin@blogger.com

The email should have a pattern like the given example.

And that's it! You have your new post .

Hope this help especially to those who have a blog in Blogger.

365 Words a Year

I remember our first meeting in our class. He said always saying anything he want to say and anything that is currently running to his mind. Actually, my previous post, Con-Ass: The Meanings, he's my reference posting that topic. He's the one who have opened my mind to the current situation of our country. And by this time, I'll share to you, as the readers, the other lesson I've learned from him :)

He started on saying: "Read the dictionary. You can have 365 Words a year", then he explained that read at least 1 word from the dictionary, know its meaning, and how to use it, then use and use it for one day. Enhance and expand your vocabulary by doing this.

It is a very good practice to us and for us to expand our vocabulary and to stop being cliche.

Back Masking

Back Masking? Yeah I know that I am late now posting this 'cause it aroused before I was born >.<

I first realized it when I and my classmates talked about it. I only know that when you play the song backwards, it has other meaning, but i didn't know that they called it Back Masking. wew. Noob Girl.

Anyway, BackMasking, on what I learned from them (my classmates), is playing a song backwards and catch the other meaning of it. Majority of the Backmasked songs is satanic, my classmate said that the songwriter, while writing the specific song, is possessed (you know). But there are some Christian Song that when you backmask, it has other meaning too: praising and worshiping God :)

ConAss: The Meanings

There are so many "meanings" of ConAss that is contrary to the real meaning of this. We rally almost every season to stop the implementation and the agreeing of the government to it. But sadly, some of the people inclusive in the particular rally don't really know what they're fighting for. I saw that on TV.

One of the reporter, while in the rally at Makati, asked some people if they do know what the ConAss really mean. Some said: "Di ko alam", some said: "Pagpapalit ng.. ano! oo!" and whoever and whatever. And they publicize also the teenagers and the younger ones having meeting and explaining them by those who really knows what the ConAss is to the not-really-know others. Much better explained to others than elders who really ever don't know. Very annoying :( But what is really the meaning of this ConAss or Constituent Assembly?

Our teacher in Politics and Governance (and also our dean) told us that only the minority, not consulting the Senate, is debating about that change of Constitution. He said that ConAss is changing the Presidential Costitution to Prime Ministerial Constitution. We heard that PGMA, after her term being a President, will run as Governor in Pampanga, and he said (our dean) that in case the ConAss will be implemented, PGMA (as the Governor) will not questionable be a Prime Minister of the country.

Constituent assembly or "con-ass" is one of the three modes in which the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines could be amended or revised. The other two modes are via People's Initiative and Constitutional Convention. The bicameral Philippine Congress (Senate and the House of Representatives) is in a Constituent assembly mode when they formally convene to propose amendments or revisions to the 1987 constitution; and under Article XVII of the Constitution of the Philippines, upon a vote of three-fourths of all its Members.

Charter Change under Arroyo
The process of amending or revising the 1987 constitution of the Philippines is recently known to many Filipinos as Charter Change. The anti-charter change forces threatened massive protests on the political process that could lead to a plebiscite on the charter change issue. Any proposed amendment or revision to the 1987 Constitution shall only be valid when ratified by the majority of Filipinos in a plebiscite. This is an ongoing current event, with massive rallys and protests, affect every Filipino domestically and globally. Charter change in the Philippines is a very controversial event, for the last time the constitution was appended, it led to the prolonging of the term of President Marcos and eventually, Martial Law.

First Week of School

Miss blogging these days. Busy at school at thinking what to blog ;)

I got excited when my first week of class started. I really now feel that I am a 2nd Year IT student! While I'm walking along the road to our room, I am thinking of what to do and what to say to greet my classmates. I do really miss them so much :) Especially him ;)

Monday, while waiting for our professor, me and my classmates talked about our summer, not good summer :)) NO! just kidding here :P we have cool summer. Many birthdays attended, summer vacation of course, and many many more! Then our professor comes, this what I like, they'll only say their outline and then tenen! Uwian na! hahaha! That's really what I love on first week of school.

Wednesday, start of our programming! Really really excited when it talks to programming! Since I've learned about C++ and some experience at C, also thesis using Visual Basic 6.0 when I was 1st year college, I really get excited everytime. Really cool COBOL. English-like structure, very easy to understand :) Politics: our dean didn't came that time :D

Annoying (:

Stats and Prob, Mr. Caturay leads it. But eventually ( or should I say evertime? :)) ), he always comes to stories even it's our time of discussion. Very cool teacher. Miss him too ;)
Speech Comm., new teacher mingled, Miss Salmorin teacher also in High School, I really admire her when she starts teaching us in Straight-English speaking. She's really cool. She teach us patiently how to count and say the words in right pronunciations and grammar, that other teachers don't. peace!

Sys. Com. Org., actually we start our class first in Discrete Structure (Math). I want to post here the different operations but difference on how to use. I really like it. 'Cause I really like math and I admire my prof. He's an alumni at our school ;)

I am thinking to post my lessons every weekend. For other colleges at the same course and even to not but the same subjects. Help me decide :P

Loyal kasi ako sa pagiging pilipino :) But I still practice it here online by using the universal language to understand my blog from other web surfer and blogger aroung the world. I want some gadgets to have of course: Have my own digital camera (Nikon D40) and Laptop (Aspire or Dell is better) especially for my study being and IT student. Enough for this. Hi guys and gals! Do you still remember the online-name Gillian from VixenArt.net? That's me! :P Well, I've changed now my name into Dimples because I think that this'll make me comfortable and it is my real nickname :D Yes! This is my real nickname (Real name: Sheila Ann Medrano). And I'm very much Happy to tell, all of you, that I'm now back in Layouting ;) (Friendster only for now). While I'm preparing for the coming schooldays (Starting June 15, 2009), I enjoying myself making free-to-use layouts for Friendster.
