Ginger root (grated) – ¼ tsp

Chicken broth (without salt and fat) – 1 liter.

In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil. Add the sliced ??pork strips and grated ginger. Before roasting the meat should be thoroughly washed and dried, otherwise the hot oil will “shoot”.

After 3-4 minutes, when the pork is slightly browned, put the meat on a plate. It is desirable to remove excess oil.

Now put the pan on the stove with a pre-cooked chicken broth. Add the sliced ??carrots, cover and let it all boil over low heat for about 10 minutes. Then put fresh mushrooms (button mushrooms), green onion and pork. Cook, like carrots, 2-3 minutes. The dish is ready!

Ladle the soup into bowls. Garnish each serving with a sprig of cilantro, if it is green, of course, to your taste. The total number of servings – 6.

Diet For Diabetic

When stimulated the production of natural insulin, observed the same effect as the increase of its dosage. If you improve your diet, you should be on guard when the first symptoms of insulin shock. Carry a piece of sugar candy or small, and possibly potassium chloride tablets all the time when you do not have fresh fruit. Keep fruit juice next to the bed and wake up, take a small sip.

This can prevent insulin reaction during the night.

How quickly can stimulate the production of natural insulin?

It depends on the individual.

In severe “chronic” cases are rarely canceled insulin, but if the power of patients improved sufficiently to prevent complications, insulin response occurs so often that the dosage can be reduced.

Even small changes in the diet gives a significant improvement.

For example, the history of the disease a young man who received 40 units of insulin daily, well illustrates how food can be improved despite the fact that the doctor’s recommendations are still satisfied. Diabetic diet of this patient contained 3,000 calories and allowed porridge, 8 slices of white bread a day and a lot of saturated fat: whole milk, 3-5 slices of butter for every meal, hydrogenated peanut butter, bacon, sausage, ham, pork chops, hamburgers and other meat, rich in fat. There were no additions to it was given.

Image via Wikipedia

In order to improve his diet was recommended to use only whole grain breads and cereals, avoid hydrogenated fats and significantly reduce the amount of animal fat, mix vegetable oil, lecithin, magnesium oxide, milk powder and yeast enhanced with a daily serving of whole milk, fried eggs with vegetable oil or cook eggs without the fat and have daily opportunities to the liver and fish. Above the recommended amount of fat should be replaced by a modified butter, nuts, avocados, wheat bran (the best source of zinc, a component of insulin), vegetable oil or mayonnaise in salads and vegetable dishes and plenty of bread and mayonnaise sandwiches. And in between meals “snack” unsalted nuts, oranges, wherever possible, enhanced milk. The rest of diet remained unchanged.

The patient is also taking these supplements after every meal: 10 mg of vitamin B 6 , B-complex tablets, providing the day to 1000 mg of choline and inositol, 100 units of vitamin E, pantothenic acid, 100 mg and 500 mg vitamin C capsule containing 25,000 units natural vitamin A and 2,500 units of vitamin D taken daily after breakfast, and then, and another with fish oil.

Insulin response was observed in the first week of transition to a new diet, and a month later, insulin was discontinued. The attending physician called it a miracle. Although the young man observes their diet is very strict, he has to take 10-15 units of insulin per day in periods of high stress.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower – 500 g

Green onions (chopped finely) – 1 bunch

Garlic (minced) – 2 prongs

Preparation:

Cook the cabbage over medium heat. Put the pan on the stove, splash of vegetable oil, wait until warmed up. After that, fry finely chopped onion and garlic.

When the vegetables are tender and golden, add sliced ??tomatoes, salt, red and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally shovel, another 3-4 minutes.

Cauliflower can be cooked on a traditional recipe (pre-boiled), or add to the vegetables raw. If you choose the second way of cooking, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10-12 minutes more. Do not forget to stop cabbage spatula every 2 minutes. Add salt at the end.

One of the inflorescence can try to pierce with a knife or toothpick. If soft and falls – the dish is ready.

Cauliflower should be enough for exactly 5 servings. Do not overeat, treat this simple nice things his most dear and loved ones.

I suggest at one time meal to eat no more servings of fried cabbage. Allowed the simultaneous use of other foods, according to an individual meal plan.

Diet For Diabetic

Diabetes is often complicated by atherosclerosis, fatty liver, obesity, cataracts, retinitis, and gangrene. Prolonged use of inappropriate write, rich in saturated fats, often holds to that in diabetic arteries are almost completely clogged with fatty deposits.

The majority of diabetic patients older than 50 years have seen a general atherosclerosis, which can damage the heart, liver, brain, kidneys and other body parts like legs. Diabetics, vegetarians whose food supplies the body to vitamin B, potassium, magnesium and vegetable oil, but contains little saturated fat, do not suffer from atherosclerosis. Identified among the Trappist monks of diabetics, whose staple food – eggs, whole milk and yogurt, but no meat, have cholesterol levels far below 200 mg regardless of age.

Apparently, all people with diabetes need to check cholesterol levels and / or fat in the blood of every 6 months, and when you deviate from the norm shall take immediate steps to reduce them. Replacing a diabetic diet, saturated fat vegetable oil significantly reduces the level of cholesterol in the blood. All the nutrients necessary for the utilization of fats and help prevent blood clots, as we described in the chapter “The enemy vessels – cholesterol,” should be included in each diabetic diet. Lecithin and vitamin E are particularly important if there was a threat of gangrene. Amputation is sometimes possible to prevent the daily administration of 600 units of vitamin E.

Doctors are unanimous in their opinion that diabetics are overweight helps weight loss.

Weight loss program can easily be included in the plan for a diabetic diet, but while the latter is not fully balanced, high levels of blood fats, stock created by the body, can cause heart disease or worsen existing ones. In the first place should be planned full-calorie diet and insulin dosage adjusted to it. Yeast and soy flour yield, respectively, 20 and 10 grams of protein per half cup and do not contain starch or sugar. Because of the sugar contained in milk, doctors usually advise people with diabetes is almost completely abandon it. If you use yogurt or acidophilus products, sugar in milk is split by intestinal bacteria to lactic acid, therefore, is absorbed so little of the substance, the milk should be free of it. 6 tablespoons of lecithin are added daily to the diabetic diet, give a positive result. Obviously, lecithin in the body of patients with diabetes is not used as calories and replaces phospholipids. In addition, great importance in diabetes have frequent receptions write in small portions.

Maybe fatty liver in diabetics occurs because choline and inositol, it is easy to get lost in the urine. Comparison of results of liver biopsies before and after the diet, especially rich in protein, B vitamins and choline supplemented with additives, inositol and vitamin B 12 , at 6 weeks showed that even the most serious cases are treatable. Vitamins C, E and sulfur-containing amino acids in eggs are particularly useful for the treatment of fatty liver.

Image via Wikipedia

Diabetic retinitis, the most noticeable under stress, characterized by bleeding within the eye, and sometimes occurs in the absence of diabetes with a deficiency of vitamin B 6 . A lot of small, blood-filled balls, called aneurysms – an early and common symptom of diabetes – are the walls of the capillaries. They are extremely fragile, easily burst and shed their blood in the tissue. This state can not prevent the inclusion in the diabetic diet protein and facilitate the addition of pantothenic acid and vitamin B 12 and C. Since 80% of the essential amino acid tryptophan is destroyed when the body is insufficient supply of vitamin B 6 , this loss, combined with stress caused by the destruction of the proteins of the organism, of course, weakens tiny particles of protein that form the walls of the capillary, and to some extent may be the cause of aneurysms, and hemorrhage. It is believed that diabetic retinitis can be prevented, especially if the clock to take “ anti-stress formula ”and follow the anti-stress program.

Ruptured aneurysm in the kidneys often cause blood in the urine. Aneurysms can also cause multiple hemorrhages in any part of the body, and neither the patient nor the doctor can not predict the location of their occurrence. As a result, there is a violation of local, formed scar tissue, or blood clot, which creates a threat of a heart attack or stroke. And atherosclerosis, and high blood pressure increases the risk of hemorrhage.

Diet For Diabetic

Scientific research in modern medicine have long concluded that for the disease diabetes mellitus is no need for fasting. Previously, the menu for patient was recommended to exclude food containing carbohydrates, replacing them with foods high in fat. Time has now proved that this method is detrimental to health.

In Poland, was invented a new, more convenient diet significantly improved the health of people with diabetes. This played a big role. This is largely due to the fact that the disease of diabetes is chronic, so food should not be hard to digest or lead to the depletion of the patient, and ideally not to deviate from the diet of a healthy person.

Diet for diabetes should be differentiated, adherence to doctor’s instructions, taking into account the course of the disease and its nature – a necessary condition for improvement. The doctor and only a doctor can determine the number of individual products in the daily diet.

Food of the patient with diabetes should contain the required number of full-proteins, which are a source of meat, fish, milk and eggs. Proteins are needed to build and repair cells.

A patient with diabetes should receive a full day of 1-2 g of protein per 1 kg of weight. This rate is not constant and depends on the total number of products in daily diet.

A characteristic feature of the diet – limiting fats in cooking.

It is best to use butter and refined soybean oil and sunflower oil. Moreover, it is useful for older people, who are also sick and has atherosclerosis. There should not be fried, stewed, baked products on fat, it is preferable to boil, simmer and cook without fat.

This is especially true of meat and fish.

Should be excluded from the diet of fatty meats, fish, fatty cheeses and whole milk. Recommended products such as beef, lean beef, chicken, rabbit, rabbit, pike, cod, perch, flounder, bream, roach, low-fat cheeses. You can also include low-fat diet of ham and bacon, as well as low-fat smoked fish. This particular diet provides consumption of fruits and vegetables without any restrictions at every meal. Vegetable oil is recommended to fill the raw salads as well as fats are necessary for the preservation of vitamins contained in vegetables.

Daily diabetic diet provides a relatively large amount of carbohydratefrom 200 to 250g. A patient with diabetes receives them in grain products and potatoes. You can recommend the coarse varieties of cereals, rye and wholemeal bread, because they are more nutritious. But it is only in cases where diabetes is not accompanied by gastro-intestinal diseases.

Doctors are allowing to use sugar and honey only to those patients who receive insulin, and not more than 2 teaspoons at a meal, after insulin administration. In some cases, allowed three or even four teaspoons in the daily diet.

In order not to weigh the products continuously, we can use for reference data. For example, one tablespoon, with no top, cereals – 20 g; porridge made of the same cereal, 1 tablespoon with Top – 25 g, 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes with the top – ’70 products such as meat, cheese, etc . etc., should be weighed several times, that would make that much weight. It must be remembered that 100 g of lean meat can be replaced by 100 g of cottage cheese, 2 teaspoons sugar – 2 teaspoons honey or 4 teaspoons of jam.

Diet For Diabetic

Nutritional needs of diabetics, of course, is many times higher than healthy people. Because of the unusually high losses of water-soluble nutrients in urine food should more than offset those losses. For example, inositol has been isolated from the urine of diabetics, more than 100 years ago. His loss is much greater than that of other people, this is what contributes to the development of severe atherosclerosis. And loss of urine, and the need for magnesium and vitamin B 6 also markedly increased.

Every time developing acidolysis, or blood sugar drops below normal, there is an alarm reaction to stress, which increases the need for protein, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, potassium and other nutrients. Appointed as a cortisone drug, which stimulates the body’s response to stress, causing patients and diabetes, and inflammation of the pancreas. With insufficient supply of pantothenic acid levels of the organism in blood sugar after insulin falls so rapidly that dramatically increases the risk of insulin shock or fainting.

Image via Wikipedia

Patients with so-called labile diabetes are so sensitive to insulin, the level of sugar in their blood decreases rapidly with very high to very low, making insulin shock common. This condition is mainly the result of deficiency of pantothenic acid, although extremely labile diabetes and high body’s need for potassium, protein, vitamins B 2 and C, niacinamide, and lecithin. When the amounts of these nutrients increased, hypersensitivity to insulin disappears.

According to some scientists, the protein in the diabetic diet should be much more than usual. When the injection of insulin after blood sugar level drops, or when it was eaten too little food, hormones, pituitary and adrenal glands causing destruction of the body proteins, including proteins of the pancreas, even more striking that body and reducing the production of insulin.

Despite the seemingly adequate intake, diabetics often have abnormally low levels of vitamin A, which is often lost in the urine. All the symptoms of hypovitaminosis A is available. A marked clinical improvement occurred when the diabetics were given 16,000 units of vitamin A per day.

Because this vitamin helps reduce fat and cholesterol in the blood, it should be taken continuously.

A similar pattern is observed if a diabetic diet, has sufficiently vitamin B 1 - large doses of this vitamin have successfully cured already developed neuritis. Vitamin B 1 is particularly useful for the prevention of brain damage due to diabetes acidolysis. The more insulin is required, the greater the need for vitamin B 1 , pantothenic acid and biotin.

Due to stress, loss of urine, the destruction of saccharin and other artificial sweeteners need for vitamin C is also particularly high in diabetes, and huge doses of this vitamin sometimes give unexpected results.

In diabetic patients often have a deficiency of potassium, which is required for the utilization of sugar. Its level falls much below normal, when the reduced level of sugar in the blood or develops acidolysis. Loss of potassium due to the delay of salt during stress, particularly dangerous for those diabetics who suffer from high blood pressure or heart disease. Chance of heart attack increases several times. Since potassium deficiency may be caused by too much salt intake, people with diabetes who are under stress or who is found in the urine of sugar, should not eat foods such as ham, smoked fish and salted nuts, as they do not take potassium. With strong acidolysis loss of potassium can be fatal. Verified that the low level of potassium in the blood increases to normal if the patient is given magnesium.

When the diabetic patients before injection of insulin were given 2-5 g of potassium chloride tablets, it protected them from the excessive drop in blood sugar and high blood pressure and pulse rate. If the drug is taken after the injection of insulin, blood pressure and heart rate immediately dropped, and blood sugar levels rapidly, and the electrocardiogram returned to normal. It appears that diabetics (with doctor’s permission) you should use potassium chloride as a solezamenitelya and carry it with tablets (1 g) to take when the first symptoms of insulin shock. However, if the state of stress or prolonged deficiency of pantothenic acid, more useful to ordinary table salt (sodium) than potassium.

Diet For Diabetic

Diabetes is one of the major causes of death in men and women in the globe today. The disease is mainly characterized by an excessive level of glucose in the blood. Diabetes is actually categorized into three subtypes which include type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. Basically, diabetes is triggered by the failure of the pancreas to produce sufficient amount of insulin which facilitates in the movement of glucose from the bloodstream to the cells.

Failure of the pancreas to perform its function leads to the heavy accumulation of glucose in the bloodstream which can lead to a number of life threatening medical conditions such as diabetes. Diabetes is a life threatening disease but it can always be prevented with the aid of a pre diabetes diet.

Pre diabetes is a condition that is characterized by a level of glucose that is relatively higher than normal but cannot be qualified as type II diabetes. Studies shows that people who have been diagnosed with pre diabetes have an increased risk of suffering from diabetes after 10 years but the condition can always be prevented by losing significant amount of weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. One of the best ways to prevent the development of diabetes is to observe a pre diabetes diet.

Basically, a pre diabetes diet is composed of foods that have low fat and calorie content. A pre diabetes diet does not include unhealthy trans and saturated fats such as processed cookies, crackers, fatty meats, whole milk, margarine, butter and lard. Sweets such as pies, ice cream, candies, cakes and drinks such as coffee, sodas, sugar-sweetened teas and fruit drinks should also be avoided.

A proper pre-diabetes diet includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes.

Green leafy vegetables like spinach and broccoli and orange vegetables like winter squash, carrots and pumpkin are excellent components of a pre diabetes diet. These foods are rich in vitamins and fiber yet they contain minimal amount of calories. Legumes like kidney beans, garbanzo, black pinto, peas and lentils are excellent sources of fiber which make them good components of a pre diabetes diet. Legumes contain a number of essential nutrients such as protein but they contain low levels of fat.

Increased intake of fruits and vegetables can also prevent the development of Type II diabetes. These types of foods contain high amounts of glucose that serve as the body’s source of fuel. Foods that are rich in complex carbohydrates should also be taken excessively because it can prevent the development of diabetes. Turnips, lettuce, asparagus, water cress, cabbage, cauliflower, zucchini, celery, cucumber, sprouts, eggplant, tomato, onions, Brussels and radish are excellent sources of complex carbohydrates that can improve pre-diabetic condition.

Whole grains are also great components of a pre diabetes diet because they contain high levels of fiber.

Fiber plays a major role in the process of losing weight because it tends to stay longer in the stomach that makes an individual feel fuller for a longer period of time. Research also shows that fiber has the ultimate capacity to regulate the blood sugar level of an individual. This makes fiber-rich foods an important component of a pre-diabetes diet. Whole grain cereals, whole grain rice and oatmeal are some of the best sources of fiber.
