Great post, it is beautiful to see how the citizens of Boston help each other out in such tragedy like this one. I also hope the marathon goes on, i do not believe this will happen again in such event though. What do you think about CISPA though? Do you think the government kinda took advantage of Texas and Boston events to pass CISPA?

I think that Burger King’s
social media management team or person should have been on top of the situation
and fixed the problem a lot sooner, but within an hour is still a good amount
of time. Burger King should have responded to the public for the crisis as soon

public that Burger King does not care about what its Twitter account was
tweeting, or care about it’s competitors or general public.

" I hope we don’t
let this put a chill on large public events. If the people responsible
succeed in striking terror into our hearts and in making us reconsider
these most positive of ways of coming together then they’ve won.
I hope the Boston Marathon goes on. It’s a wonderful event that
brings thousands of people together each year in a very, very positive
way."
I feel like these are the two most important comments in regards to the marathon. Terrorist attacks are just that, attacks of terror. They are not declarations of war or attacks that can change or destroy the American infrastructure. They can however have are citizens living in a state of fear and change our culture in regards to the happiness and freedom every American is supposed to have by right.
I completely agree with ESPN analysts who talked with some of the people who worked in organizing the race. That race was something that helped bring the whole northeast together, and to see it change in format or to have it canceled would be a terror crime against US citizens.

Great post. As an aspiring PR professional, I have learned how important many of these factors listed are. I think the most important learning to write, knowing the difference between strategies, tactics, and objective and stay on top of news. First, you will never succeed in the public relations field, or many fields for that matter, if you are not able to clearly convey your thoughts through words. Next, you must know the differnce between objectives, strategies and tactics if you ever want to create a successful and useful PR campaign without knowing the difference and how to measure these categories. Last, you must stay on top of news to know what is happening in our field, current events and to learn from other's mistakes. Again, great post, I really enjoyed reading it!
