The minimum qualifications for post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are M.Sc. (Mathematics)or equivalent degree and at least two year of Post-M.Sc. research experience.

The minimum qualification for post of Research Associate (RA) is Doctorate(Ph.D)in Mathematics or equivalent degree.

NIT Hamirpur has invited applications on plain paper from interested persons for one post of Senior Research Fellow/JRF under the CSIR funded Project “Identification of Harmonic Sources in Power Systems”. GATE/ NET qualified candidates with First class M.Tech./M.E., or B.Tech. with 75%, marks in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering and below 28 years of age are eligible to apply. However, non GATE persons with very good academic record are also eligible. Interested candidates having the above qualifications must send their applications on plane paper with full bio-data indicating the % age of marks obtained from Matriculation onwards along with the attested copies of mark-sheets/certificates. A consolidated fellowship of Rs. 14000/- pm for SRF and Rs 12000/- pm for JRF as per NIT Hamirpur/CSIR rules will be paid.
