The release will be the first release on his new label Fracas Music. With early support from artists such as Loco Dice and Ramon Tapia, this LP is going to be big.

Gorgon City is the dynamic duo of Foamo and RackNRuin. They are starting off 2013 with a bang! They recently released the 4-track Real EP on Black Butter Records which features Yasmin on vocals on the title track. We have full streaming preview clips of all four songs, along with purchase links and social media links for Gorgon City.

Gorgon City - Real featuring Yasmin :: The title track is a great vocal dance song with big crossover potential. Featuring Gorgon City's signature chunky bassline, I've had this one on repeat since I first heard it.

Gorgon City - Thor :: Thor is a bass heavy house track that is full of energy. This track will fit nicely in the sets of all those dirtybird fans.

Gorgon City - Athena :: This track was featured on XLR8R. In the same vein as Thor, this bass / house hybrid is geared for the underground heads.

Gorgon City - 10 Below :: 10 Below has a grittier edge to it. It still has a 4/4 beat, but with almost some drum-n-bass darkness to it. A nice way to round out the EP and show some of their diversity of production.

Danse Club Records launches with an update to a house classic

Brand new UK label, Danse Club Records, launch their ‘Gold Series’ with a re-mastered and remixed version of the 1995 house classic "Love Me Or Leave Me" by Cherie Lee.

Danse Club Records is a new label venture from brothers Scott and Austen Smart, siblings who produce together under the Brodanse name and have music forthcoming on the Fresh Meat label out of Chicago as well as the Fullbarr imprint. The Danse Club label is going to focus on new house and techno releases from established and upcoming artists and alongside this will have a ‘Gold Series’ that will feature classic records from the 90's re-mastered and remixed by leading producers. To kick things off the Smart brothers have picked up a lost gem from 17 years ago, Cherie Lee’s "Love Me or Leave Me", a record that appeared on New Jersey label Music Station and was produced by label boss Jeffrey Collins.

This first release includes remixes from Brodanse, Oliver $ and Matthew K.

One word that comes to mind immediately upon hearing some of the remix and production work from Urchins is fresh. The Urchins are a production duo from the UK who make beats that are hard for people to limit to genre labels. Give these great tracks a listen, and if you like them, the songs in this post are all free to download.

My recent introduction to Urchins came through the Plump DJs, who are offering up the Urchins remix of their track "Water Born Computer Virus". The track is part breakbeat, part future bass, all funky.

Next up is the Urchins remix of "Say Wha?!" by the Round Table Knights. This one is a great track in a 4/4 style, best described as funky tech house with a heavy bassline.

And if you need an instant party, check out their fun megamix for Kissy Sell Out's show on Radio 1. This mix has tons of classic songs in it.
