At long last! Part 2 of the Cybreakfast. My apologies for the delays in getting this uploaded and posted. No excuses from me. I just didn’t get it done sooner and I apologize.

In this long awaited part two, we continue our ongoing discussion about Cybrosis and the world of podcast novels as a whole. We discuss the choices between full cast audio, full audio drama, and straight read podcasts. We discuss some of our favorite moments in our own productions. All this leads up to the inevitable close of the conversation as we bid a sentimental farewell and congratulations to this, my debut novel.

But stay tuned after the conversation wraps! I come back with some more discussion and some more recent updates regarding my own projects and a few hints about what’s to come in the future.

Thank you all for being a part of this fantastic experience. This will not be the last you hear from me. But things are going to get a bit more diverse in terms of content on the feed while I work on getting the next major fiction project on it’s feet.

Cybrosis Feedback Episode 03 Part 1

Once again I am joined by none other than Christiana Ellis and J. Daniel Sawyer as we discuss your comments and feedback to the end of the novel. This part does go a little long, weighing in at over an hour, but hopefully you enjoy it as there’s lots of fun to be had within! Also I close out the first part with little announcement.

Podcast novelists Tee Morris and Philippa Ballantine will be visiting Chicago in a week and a half and we’ve put our heads together to organize a meet up for anyone and everyone in the Chicagoland area, or those who want to make the trip into town. We’ve reserved a private party room at the Goose Island Brewing Company in downtown Chicago and are hoping you’ll come out and join us as we catch up, try out the local brews (Neither Tee nor Pip have had Goose Island beer before), and just have a lot of fun. The Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox will be playing that day and while we will not be attending the game directly, our party room will have a TV where we can watch the game as they continue the cross town rivalry (classic),

It’s been a long chapter, and an even longer week for me, so I’ll beg your forgiveness that there’s no banter this week. I hope you enjoyed the cliffhanger last week and the subsequent resolution in today’s episode. As always, please keep the feedback coming. There are new iTunes reviews up as well as some great comments on the website and even a few voice mail calls. But the more the merrier as we gear up for the second feedback episode.

We’re into the back half of the book now so expect things to start ratcheting up very quickly as Ciris continues her pursuit. Who is Xavier Allenrod? What happened that Briggs wants both buried and fixed? What will Ciris do now that she’s on her own? What will happen when Chen catches up to Ciris and the two friends and former colleagues find themselves with opposing agendas? And what about that viris, and the hacker that tipped this whole thing off in the first place?

Some of these questions will be answered next week. The others may just keep you guessing right up until the very end.

Well hopefully, my American audience has recovered from the Thanksgiving food coma, and the battle scars from Black Friday. If you haven’t, hopefully this will help you along the road to recovery.

First things first, I know I’ve been remiss in posting here over the summer. A lot of reasons for that and for the delay in Cybrosis production. Rest assured I will address those conerns in the near future. You can expect a seperate entry, and even some audio from me within the next two weeks or so. There’s a lot to announce, but I’m still crossing t’s and dotting i’s. But that’s another post for another day. In the meantime….

“The President of the United States is dead. He was murdered in the morning sunlight by a four-year-old boy…”

That shocking and jaw dropping line (easily one of the best opening lines in any book I’ve read) kicks off J.C. Hutchins‘ novel - 7th Son: Descent. This was among the first podcast novels to go from total obscurity, to a print contract and long last, it hits bookstores in north America TOMORROW. If you’re looking for a hard hitting, technothriller chock full of conspiracy, intrigue, and futuristic tech just plausible enough to make you wonder…”is it real.” Then, not only am I glad you’re reading this blog, but you also owe it to yourself to check out this title from St. Martin’s press.

The Cybrosis Teaser Promo is LIVE!

Happy Superbowl XLIII Eve everybody! Usually around this time all sorts of new marketing initiatives are mere hours away from launching. Rumor has it there will be premier trailers for both the upcoming Transformers 2, and the G.I. Joe movies. So, with that in mind, I’m rolling out the first teaser promo for Cybrosis. I’d like to thank Tee Morris over at Imagine That! Studios for his work in putting this together.

Please, please PLEASE download this, put it up in your feeds, your podcasts, send it to your friends, and everyone you know. You don’t need to ask me before hand. But if you do take it and re-distribute it, please let me know so I can thank you properly.

As for a production update - Tomorrow, before the big game I’ll be in studio cutting together more of Chapter 3. The previous hurdles slowing down production have been overcome and I should have things well in order before kickoff.
