Apple has begun shipping the 27-inch iMacs with Intel&amp;#8217;s Core i7 processor, according a Cult of Mac reader. The i7 is Intel&amp;#8217;s beefier update to its Core 2 Duo, running 2.66 &amp;#8211; 2.8 GHz.

Apple has just released the 10.6.2 update to OS X, which includes scores of bug fixes and improvements, including the nasty bug that can delete your data when using a guest account.
