The schools attempted to remain neutral in the debate by also blocking the websites of organizations against the homosexual lifestyle. It simply is not good enough for the ACLU that schools remain neutral. Fore the ACLU to be happy the schools must be pro-homosexual lifestyle.

Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel argues the public school is not the place to debate this lifestyle. “These websites, whether pro or con, should not be in public schools. Public schools are not the place to have this debate,” he contends. “This is an environment to educate and train children, but not to indoctrinate them in homosexuality.”

Staver believes the ACLU is using the courts to try to force the homosexual agenda on the students. “This is the essence of the ACLU. They want to push a radical, anti-family, anti-religious agenda down the throats of Americans, and they want to do it through the public school system because they know if they capture the youth, they will literally own the future,” he says.

The Liberty Counsel has offered to represent the school districts for free.

“We know that President Obama has promised healthcare reforms. We know that tax-funded abortions [are] going to be a part of that,” she notes, “and we’ve joined with a number of other groups to help oppose that.”

A recent Gallup Poll indicates that 51 percent of Americans say they are pro-life. Sullinger believes success in the campaign depends on them.

“We know that we’re not going to get anywhere on this without the grassroots rising up and saying, ‘Look, we don’t want our tax money going to bail out a failing abortion industry.’” She adds.

To further combat a culture of death, Sullinger and others are planning some future demonstrations and protests.

I think this is clear to everyone that President Obama wants a national heathcare system. The former presidential candidate takes issue with Obama’s total commitment to abortion. Keyes was among several arrested by campus police recently and considers the action to be abuse of power.

“They invoked this obviously in order to defend an action that has been condemned by the Catholic Church [and] repudiated by the bishops that is in direct contravention of the stand that was taken and the instruction that was given to all Catholics and all institutions that we should not honor those who are perpetrating and supporting this evil,” says Keyes.

The group was arrested on charges of trespassing. “Some people have described this as civil disobedience, but that’s not true,” Keyes explains. “In fact, the people who are bearing witness to the real evil nature of abortion and to the scandalous nature of this invitation and honorary degree — we are being piously obedient.”

The president speaks Sunday. Demonstrations will continue through that time.

For the last three weeks, one pro-life group — the Center for Bio Ethical Reform — has been conducting its “Obama Awareness Campaign” in South Bend. The group’s “Abortion Plane,” a tow banner airplane, has been soaring over the campus during that time in hopes of connecting the president to what it labels as the “abortion holocaust.”

Republican Congressman Randy Forbes, co-chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, says a proclamation urging Americans to pray would be more meaningful if the president set a public example. Forbes calls it a missed opportunity, but says, “Hopefully we’ll have millions of people around the country that will make up for the void we see at the White House on the National Day of Prayer.”

There were no official observance during the Clinton administration either.

President Bush also recognized the Islam observance of Ramadan with a White House dinner. Mark you calendars for the end of August to see if Ramada is celebrated publicly by the Obama White House.

The San Francisco Unified School district has launched a “lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning” (LGBTQ) website for students in order to create a “safe space for all students” and promote activities both in the classroom and outside. Carrying the inviting web address “HealthierSF.org,” the website includes links promoting Gay Pride Celebration Month, Day of Silence, and Gay/Straight Alliance clubs.

Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute, says the school district is excluding parents on this issue.

“What about parents? Can parents opt [their child] out?” she asks. “And the explanation that they give is that, no, they can’t opt out. [They say they] are under no obligation to even let them know because this is not sex education — and that’s all the law requires [them] to do.”

England says children as young as kindergarten in the Golden State are exposed to the LGBTQ agenda through the website. “And that [includes] transgender policy that allows boys, as young as kindergarten, to go into girls’ restrooms [or to] play on girls’ sports teams if they perceive themselves to be girls,” she explains.

“And [it includes] curriculum — that is as young as kindergarten — that explains homophobia, explains the word ‘gay,’” England adds. The vocabulary link at the website also defines terms such as “bisexual,” “gender identity” (”Everyone has a gender identity,” it says), and “transgender.”

The Institute spokeswoman notes the site also includes curriculum to go along with pro-homosexual children’s books such as And Tango Makes Three and King & King. “They are doing a full-out curriculum on gay and lesbian issues for all grades,” she laments. The website also plans to eventually include an elementary school lesson called “The Harvey Milk Story.”

England says discussions of such matters belong at home and do not need to be led by teachers who label students as “homophobic” if they disagree with the lifestyle.

This country’s Christian past is being erased right before our eyes. Many groups in secular society (homosexual rights, pro abortion, atheists, Hollywood, etc) have done a good job making there voices heard, while Christians just stood by and watched. Comfort says he has received a lot of mail from atheists upset with his book and with a related billboard that carries the following phrase: “Atheist: Someone who believes that nothing created everything — a scientific impossibility.”

Comfort has recently offered $20,000 to well-known atheist Richard Dawkins for a debate about the beginnings of the universe. At this time it is unknown if Dawkins has accepted the offer.

The Gadsen Flag is a traditional symbol of American patriotism. It is now a popular symbol at the tea parties with its Don’t Tread on Me slogan. The message in that flag was so appropriate under the circumstances that you should adopt it as your “flag-pole” protest against out-of-control spending.

Let flying this flag serve as a message to congress and the President that uncontrolled spending and high taxes are not acceptable. The more the flag is flown around the country, mainstream media will notice that normal, middle class Americans are tired of government spending at record levels.

This act is not only bad for you the employer but is is bad for your employees as it takes away the right to a private ballet election. This country is founded on the right to a private ballot. If this legislation is passed all employees, union bosses and employers will know who voted for unionization and which employees did not.

Senator Arlen Specter announced his opposition despite intense pressure from big labor bosses. It is obvious that the only ones who benefit from the passage of this legislation is the union bosses.
