Adding a favicon to your website is simple, and ... Read more »

Presented at a 2009 SXSWi, he talks about how web design is much more than just creating “pretty pictures”, and if designers are to be successful we need to try new things.

Recently at a Brisbane Web Design meetup I participated in an active discussion on CMS’s. It was a great night with people speaking for at least 5 different CMS’s! I was batting for WordPress which was no problem at all – I’m a huge fan!

I thought other people might enjoy knowing the benefits of using WordPress to run your website too, so I’ve posted ... Read more »

After only 3 days of the Access 1.0 release we got a message from Brandon that we had completely missed stylings for the “Compare Versions” page in the Pages module – how embarrassing after all that beta testing!

In light of this, we decided to quickly edited the theme and release Access 1.1 to addresses this issue. Download the new Access 1.1 ... Read more »

Since March this year, Access 1.0 for activecollab has endured 2 tough rounds of beta versions (Beta 1 and Beta 2) that were developed to work with the new advancements in ActiveCollab 2.0+. From these betas, the feedback we received has been fantastic. Thank you to everyone who reported bugs, suggested ideas and supported us throughout the development process!

Finally a more up-to-date version of Access theme for activecollab that integrates better with the new enhancements since the release of activeCollab 2.1!

What’s new?

Re-think of the panel based layout on the Project Overview page
New styling for buttons (mainly change/edit/add types)

It’s a very surreal day for me. You see as a web designer, I’ve been dreaming about this day for a few years. It’s official, from today onwards Creative World will no longer support IE6.

Haha – I get it, this is a joke right?

Nope. No one is laughing about it. No “April Fools” here, I promise. The joke is IE6.

Here at Creative World we use activeCollab to manage and collaborate with client projects every day. It’s a great application and I don't know where we'd be without it. Over the last few weeks I've been working on a new theme for it which I've decided to make available to the aC community.

This theme is called Access.

A new web browser called Chrome was launched into the world today. It’s built by Google, is completely open-source, is currently only available on PC and is aimed to “make the web faster, safer, and easier”.

From a design perspective, one of the first things you’ll notice is the minimalist styling.
