These two-day Beginner and Advanced classes in CET Designer are interactive and hands-on. CET Designer Beginner and Advanced classes are IDCEC-approved courses. CEUs are accepted by ASID, IDC and IIDA. Dates: Beginner: Feb. 28-29, May 15-16, Aug. 14-15, Nov. 13-14; Advanced: March 1-2, May 17-18, Aug. 16-17, Nov. 15-16. The cost is $300 per two-day session and includes course materials. Sign up at www.configura.com/cet/training.

Configura releases CET Designer 2.6.3

Configura announces the release of CET Designer® 2.6.3, a free update available to users of the software. The update can be downloaded at http://www.configura.com/cet/download.

“CET Designer 2.6.3 offers a new Watermark feature, a post-processing option enabling users to insert a company logotype into renderings with only a few clicks. CET Designer 2.6.3 also features a reworked and more user-friendly version of the Edit Graphics Extension, allowing users to create and visualize specials. This latest version of the software also provides even faster rendering,” Training and Support Manager Tracy Lanning said.

Configura announces winners of 2011 Best of CET Designer Awards

Configura announces the winners of the 4^th annual Best of CETDesigner Awards, an annual competition sponsored by Configura honoring best uses of the design-specification-rendering-ordering software solution:

Best Success Story - First place: TargetCommercialInteriors team; second place: Amanda Gallery for NBSCommercialInteriors; third place: Kristin Lundin, OEC. Entrants’ submissions showed how CET Designer resulted in a customer success story. The first-place winner, Target Commercial Interiors, received a new computer, high-end graphics card and CET Designer license.

Video Category - First place: Tess Olofson, FluidInteriors; second place: Jessica Cortes, bkmOfficeWorks; third place: Kristen McWethy, bkmOfficeWorks. Entrants’ submissions were created using CETDesigner’s MovieStudio Extension.

Rendering Category - First place: Shay O'Malley-Langer, FluidInteriors; second place: Tami Shulsen, MidwestCommercialInteriors; third place: Todd Charlton, OEC. Entrants’ submissions were created in CETDesigner 2.5 or 2.6.

The winners were announced during the Best of CET Designer Awards Program Luncheon held Oct. 27 at The Venetian in Las Vegas during the 4^th annual CET Designer User Conference. Conference attendance was not an entry requirement. Details of the 5^th annual CET Designer User Conference and Best of CET Designer Awards Program will be announced in early 2012.
