Premium Member Ads

Tim created another top 6 advertisements on your control panel for premium members only. These are right below the top 6 ads for free members.

This gives premium members one more avenue to advertise their opportunities.

Since there are a lot fewer premium members than free members, the ad will show much longer on the top 6.

Orange Leads Search

Tim added a new search engine on the very top of the control panel for OrangeLeads.com.

Now you can search all of Orange Lead members.

Orange Leads Photos

Tim has added a feature to your Orange Leads member page. You may add up to 10 pictures.

Pictures need to be uploaded elsewhere on the internet, such as Google or PhotoBucket.com, myspace, etc.

You can then put the URL to the picture on your personal Orange Leads member page.

Text Ad Stats

Tim just posted some interesting Stats on the text ads;

Unique views on text ads are now one view per ad per person within a 24 hour period. I may even move that up to 48 hours or more.

Text Ad Enhancement

There is now a small banner in the corner of the text "Ads By Orange Leads"

If someone clicks on that banner from your website, they will be taken to your Text Ads Sales Page.

Top Recruiters Page

Tim added a new feature to the Top Recruiters page.

Go to your "My Account" Page and click update.

Now go to the Top Recruiters Page

If you are on that list, your photo, Shameless Promo, Cool Website will show up...

If you are a premium member, your rotating ad will show up as well...

Tweet your blog

Tim says - I installed the Tweet This wordpress plug in.

Go to your Orange Leads blog admin, click on "settings" in the lower right, activate the tweet this plugin. This allows you to add posts to twitter, purk, buzz, idgg, ping, reddit, and stumble.

Blog Tips from Tim Drobnick Sr.

I realize a lot of you are new to blogging and how this helps you get exposure on the internet. I will briefly give you just one tip.

Every time you post something to your blog, (log in to admin, on the left click on Posts and then “add new”), your post is added to your blog and it is pinged. (I will explain pinged).

This post MUST be original. If you copy other people’s posts or letters or content, search engines will penalize you. So type something in your own words. It does not need to be the gettysburg address.

For example, if you are working with herbalife you could post, “Today I learned that Herbalife has such and such ingredient. I did not know this but I see now how it can help, because….. blah blah blah..”

Nothing fancy is needed, but it should be something a REAL HUMAN want to read.

So assuming you post something original here is what happens EVERY time you post:

1. Your post is added at the top of your blog. 2. Your blog is put at the top of OrangeLeads.com/blogs list of blogs so that people and search engines see it has a new post. 3. It is pinged out to hundreds of websites.

Explanation of pinged - There are hundreds of websites that accept links from blogs. We only ping to the quality ones that have google, yahoo, msn, aol, pretty much all of the major search engines going through the website every few hours to every few minutes.

So when you post your link shows up at the top of hundreds of websites immediately. Then as others post links your link starts to go down.

If your link is high enough when google or others come thru, it follows the link back to your blog and indexes your post so it will be found on google, or whoever it was that indexed you.

If your post is found often enough, google, yahoo, etc puts you on a higher value so that you get higher listings on their search engine.

So this means the more often you post, the more exposure you will get.

There is no limit to how often you post, and the more you do the better off you will be. HOWEVER, if you post junk that real people do not want to read, and if is content that has been posted somewhere else on the internet (google knows all and sees all), then you will be penalized by the search engines and banned.

New Blog Plugin

Tim has added statpress plugin for your blogs. This will let you see the traffic on your blog pages. To use the statepress: 1. Go to your blog and log in. 2. On the left click on "Plugins" 3. You will then see a list of all your plugins. Look for the "StatPress" plugin at the bottom and over to the right click on "activate" 4. After you activate, look at the bottom left and click on "StatPress" anytime you want to see statistics about your traffic.
