we have not seen marlin yet in few years, but in severa; days in a row this week, we have some sailfishes in our trolling. not too big though, around 40 kilos only.

marlin are usually pass the indonesia waters around august and september. For dogtooth you may see some posts in this region fishing report and get contact those fellas that jigging for dogtooth tunas.

some operator provides trolling gears in their prices, some are not. There was a good fishing boat few years ago, a back watch boat, but she was pulled back to australia already, what may able to charter perhaps some local built fiberglass boat with choice of engine, 2x 200HP, 2 x 175 hp, 2 x 115hp, or the smallest 2x 85hp.
most of the boat are 10-12 meters long and 2.8 3 meter wide, some equipped with GPS and sounder some are not.

What may you need to research is typing at google the keyword gt fishing and call/email them for interview, then i believe your experience can tell the difference of the operator understanding of big game.
