This family holds a special place in my heart as their eldest daughter Mia is best friends with my daughter Amelie.  They were put in the same class together in Kindergarten and have been the best of friends ever since.  It is so lovely to witness their friendship.  When Kristy asked me to photograph her beautiful family I was honoured and when she showed me the gorgeous outfits she had picked out for her girls I knew they were going to look amazing.  This family is so full of love and their four beautiful girls are all so cute and well behaved it really made my job easy!  Kristy & Ash, thank you so much for choosing me to take your family’s portraits….

I know that I have not blogged much lately but I have been very busy photographing lots of newborns and families and I don’t know where the times goes!

A little while back I did a session for 5 day Edward and his family.  Edward is a much loved baby brother for Stella and he is just adorable!  I feel so blessed to work with newborns and their families.  The newborn stage is so fleeting and I am so happy to capture it to be treasured forever.  Tim & Liz, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your family!

I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon in a beautiful new location with this gorgeous family.  Abbie has just started Kindergarten and also just started to lose her baby teeth so she is growing up fast!  Abbie’s Mum contacted me to say how much she wanted to capture Abbie at this wonderful age.  Abbie was such a delight to photograph!  Not only is she gorgeous, she also has a very fun personality and got up to some hilarious antics during the sessionCarnita & Alex, thank you so much for choosing me to capture these very special memories for you.

This is the second time I have photographed this beautiful family, with the first time being when they welcomed their first daughter Sienna and I captured her newborn portraits.  Well, now Sienna is a big sister to Lucy and I was thrilled when Vanessa and Ben asked me to capture this special moment in their lives.  Sienna is such a loving big sister and Lucy is just adorable as you can see!

This year has started off with a bang with so many gorgeous babies and families lined up for me to photograph!  I know that it was in at least two family’s New Year’s resolutions to finally get around to having some professional portraits taken and I am so happy that they have chosen me for the task!  I only have very limited space left over the next three months for both newborn and family portraits so please get in touch with me as soon as possible if you would like to book a session.

I had a lot of fun at my recent session with Jack.  He is such a sweet little boy with gorgeous creamy skin and beautiful blue eyes!  At 11 months old, Jack was at a lovely age to capture his emerging personality.  Have a look at how cute he is……

Wow, I can’t believe another year is almost over already!  Business wise it has been a big year for me as I captured beautiful portraits for a record number of families.  I would like to thank all of my clients for their support over the year.  There were many new families that I met and also quite a few that returned for updated portraits.  Just knowing that you love your portraits and that they are displayed proudly in your homes really makes my job so worthwhile.  I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year!

One of my goals for 2012 was to take more portraits of my own two daughters.  As someone who loves and cherishes photographs so much I don’t think I could ever have too many!  I made a real effort to capture all of the little moments that make up their lives as well as the special occasions and will do the same in 2013.  It has been a while since I posted any personal photographs on here so here are some recent portraits of my two girls….

I recently had the pleasure of photographing beautiful baby Emily at just 6 days of age with her parents, big brother Harry and big sister Sophie.  I also photographed Sophie when she was a newborn so it was wonderful to see how much Sophie and Harry had grown!  It really is one of the best parts of my job to have families come back to me again for updated portraits…..

Here is something a little bit different from me – a couple’s session!  I do offer all of the families that I photograph the opportunity to have some couple shots at the end of their session and I just love it when they accept!  Often it was their wedding day when couples last had some beautiful portraits taken together.   I recently spent a lovely afternoon capturing this gorgeous couple (parents to three amazing kids) who happen to be friends and neighbours of mine.  They are obviously still so much in love with each other…..

Here are some portraits I recently took of gorgeous baby Isla.  She  has the sweetest nature and I just love her smile with those two little teeth!  Around 6 to 9 months is a really beautiful age for having portraits taken of your baby.  They have so much character and personality at this age!
