What I Learned About #LACTAID {And A Giveaway}

Last week, I sat in on a conference call with members from TheMotherhood, other bloggers, Melissa d’ Arabian, LACTAID Brand Spokesperson, and Michelle Harrington , R.D. and LACTAID® Regulatory and Nutritional Affairs Manager to talk about LACTAID. My oldest son has a lactose intolerance so strong that we cut all dairy out of his diet. However, he's one of three children and it's tricky sometimes to keep everyone happy with the foods we eat.

Lactose is what you will find as the major carbohydrate in milk and dairy products and it's basically the milk sugar. When that lactose enters the intestine, lactase {an intestinal enzyme} breaks it down into two parts, glucose and galactose. And this process is what determines the lactose intolerance level in each person. The less lactose a body makes on its own, the greater the level of lactose intolerance. Each person has a different level and some people can develop an intolerance overtime, where it shows up later in life.

My son's doctor explained it to me this way, when the galactose hits the intestine, the body tries to break it down. For him, the body would continue to send the lactose back through again and again since it couldn't break it down, it would reject the lactose, and that would make him sick.

We began looking for milk substitutes after we nailed down my son's problem. I am so thankful for LACTAID and their line of products.

LACTAID products are 100% dairy but they add a natural enzyme {lactase} from yeast. This makes their milk taste a bit sweeter than normal milk. In their line of products, they create Milks, cottage cheese, ice cream, and even egg nog. I was so excited to see that they offer chocolate milk that is not only lactose free, it also has no high fructose corn syrup in it! And cottage cheese? My mom gave me cottage cheese with peaches or pears when I was little. I'm glad to know that I can share that with my son and not make him sick from the lactose in it. Also, don't get me started on ice cream. When we first learned of his intolerance, we couldn't find a dairy free ice cream, so we offered him sorbet {crazy expensive stuff}. Now, he can choose from Chocolate {always in our freezer}, Butter Pecan, Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, and Strawberries and Cream flavors. Each of the ice cream flavors is also gluten free with the exception of the Cookies and Cream.

In the coming months, I'll be trying out a recipe with LACTAID to make something my whole family can enjoy together. I can't wait to share that with you. I hope that we can still be friends after my confession the other day that my true love of steaming beverages lies with tea and apple cider. {phew} Now can we all agree that buying sweet things for adorable new babes is one of the greatest joys ever?! When I was given the opportunity to review some adorable baby items from SwaddleDesigns, I jumped at the chance! After Bean decided to join us on Valentine’s Day, I knew she would be surrounded by pink and hearts for the rest of her life. I was looking forward to some sweet things to add to her girly lifestyle and SwaddleDesigns did not disappoint. I was thrilled with the girlie swag I received: a fitted crib sheet, a lovie, and a swaddling blanket.

As parents we want our precious little ones to be comfortable. Since they spend so much time sleeping, a comfy crib sheet is a must. Another item that is sure to comfort is good swaddling blanket. Swaddling comforts and reminds babies of the mother’s womb. A luxurious 46 x 46 size makes this the queen bee of swaddling blankets in my book. I wish I had this blanket in my stash with my other squishers. Snikiddy Snacks, Please! {Review}

Can I just be very honest with you about something? I really don't like when we have things like potato chips in the house for the kiddos to snack on. Most store-bought items are way too greasy and I just want to keep that garbage far away from their little stomachs. I don't even care for greasy potato chips to eat, myself.

So, I hesitated when I was approached to review snacks with my family. That is, until I read that these snacks had no GMO's in them and certain types had a full serving of vegetables in every ounce of chips. That was all I needed to read and I was sold. I received 6 bags of chips to review from Snikiddy.

When we opened the box that had arrived, my little ones were very excited. Alex was even more excited when I told him that the Sea Salt chips had no milk in them. I told them to pick a favorite to try first and those choices are the ones you see pictured above. {I tried a little bit of everything with one exception. I'll explain later.} Each of them were very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed snacking on each flavor.

My Top Two Favorites:

I sampled both the Sour Cream & Onion and Grilled Cheese Puffs flavors. And while the Sour Cream & Onion chips were delicious, light, and not greasy, I preferred the airy Grilled Cheese Puffs for my own snacking. The only downside to these is that they're so airy, I lost track of how much I was eating. The upside, of course, was that they were all natural and not weighing down my stomach when I was done.

Ah, the Bold Buffalo flavor. Yah, these didn't last very long at all in my house. The hubster is a huge fan of anything BBQ or, in this case, Bold Buffalo. In between hand fulls of his eating the baked fries, I did manage to get him to say something about them. He really, really liked them and thought they were very good. {Obviously, he thought so because they disappeared very quickly!}

I shared one very cheesy Cheddar Cheese fry with my smallest to see what she would think of it. Hm...will she like it?

Yes! She loved it and wanted more right away.

My Little Mover and Her NEW HuggiesSlip-On #FirstFit Diapers! {review}

My baby girl has started standing up and taking her first steps recently. I can hardly believe I will have 3, perfectly mobile kiddos soon. {Sounds fun, right?}

Reducing Our #EverydayEffect Taking The P&G Conserve-It-All Challenge

Right off the bat, I have a confession to make. My family did not/does not do much to eliminate waste. When we lived in our 3rd story condo, it was impossible to recycle {unless I wanted to load up the kids AND the recyclable in the van and drive them out myself. A.K.A. Not enough hands}. We found it much easier to put everything in the same bag and take it down to the same dumpster whenever necessary.

P&G with SheSpeaks asked me to think about how I could cut back on the waste my household creates and share those ideas with you.

Since moving to our house, I've become even more aware of the waste we have as a family and am tapping into the city's resources to help cut those down. Our goals are to recycle and begin composting.

My city offers help with recycling in the form of a bin. We can fill that bin up every week and they'll come pick it up from us. It really doesn't get any easier than that. And for composting, I've found all sorts of ideas on how to compost, how to use compost, and even DIY compost bins over at Pinterest.

I'm excited to take these new strides and show my little ones how to take care of the earth as a family.

Other ideas to cut back on waste is by using reusable paper towel, cloth diapers, using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances...and that's just the beginning of the list.

Blue Steel Titanium Ring Gift Idea {Review}

The Spring season is upon us bringing Summer right behind it. For me, that usually means I'll be wearing lighter clothing and accessories for comfort's sake. I like to keep it simple but I still like finding pretty things to wear.

I was recently sent the Persuasion ring to review from Blue Steel. And when this blue and silver little box arrived at my home, I was all sorts of giddy. {What is it about the little box that makes opening jewelry so exciting?}

Perhaps the excitement is from being able to see what it looks like in person. I saw the stock image of this ring but I wasn't sure if the piece itself would hold up to that picture since I've never received anything from Blue Steel before.

I'm happy to report, it was love at first sight.

Simple, delicate, and dainty are the words I would use to describe this ring. It sparkles all the right ways and the fit of the ring is just right. It's very well made and it has kept all its beauty, even through my parenting, and homeschooling, and dish washing, and so on. I see no scratches or discoloration on this ring at all.

Let's talk about this ring with a little more detail. The ring itself is titanium. This titanium is 100% hypoallergenic and allergy free. That means you don't have to worry about irritation or discoloration. Also, titanium is a very strong metal and that's why I haven't seen any scratches or marks on it while I've been wearing it almost daily for the past few weeks.

The stones in the eternity band are CZ's, but the way these stones are set in the band makes them look pretty authentic. The clarity of the stones might be the real giveaway here. However, if someone just looks down and sees the ring, I don't think anything about it would scream "fake" at them.

I think it is safe to say women like to be pampered. I believe that is especially true after having a baby. I was thrilled when Amy offered me this review. Products from Thymes were just the thing to make this new mum feel special.

I Have A New Contributor!

Can you believe that this blog is 5 days away from being 5 years old? Holy MOLY!

In that time, my family has grown into a party of 5 and we've stretched our legs out in a home that is much bigger than our small, third story condo was. Since that move last fall, I've realized how much the seasons have changed around here and find less time to give to all the reviews I'd love to share.

A dear friend has come along side {she is another Mrs. who loves coffee} and offered to help me out here and there. Andi is a mom of 5 kiddos, her youngest born on Valentine's Day this year. She is a gifted mom, teacher, wife, organizer, builder, DIY-er, and then some. I know you're going to love her!

Two things I love to buy as often as I can are shoes and handbags. And when it comes to Spring/Summer footwear, I like styles that are quick and easy to get on and off while being cute enough to go with my favorite outfits. Happy "I Can't Take It" Friday

Today. Good Friday.

Every year on this day and Easter morning, I can't hold back the tears.

If you know anything about "The 5 Love Languages" you may better understand why "I can't take" the meaning of this day. My love language is gift giving. Do I need to say more?

Good Friday represents the day Jesus died to save undeserving people of their innumerable sins. It was a "once and for all" gift meaning that you and I can live free and forgiven...and our children...and their children.

Forgiven?

That's the gift I wrestle with. I don't feel worthy but I know He sees "worthy" in me. And when I think about forgiveness and the many times I mess up every day, I'm left saying "I don't know if I'll ever understand the depth of that kind of love, but I'm so thankful and I will love you back the best I can".

See? Even typing those words, I'm a blubbering mess.

The YORK Peppermint Patty Eggs and JOLLY RANCHER Wild Berry Jelly Beans are new this year and absolutely delicious. I'm partial to the YORK eggs, myself but that's just because I love YORK everything. :)

The hubster prefers his REESE'S Peanut Butter Eggs. He thinks they're the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter...and he's very upset when Easter is done and these leave store shelves. And please don't get me started on Cadbury creme eggs. I just love sneaking one of these to snack on during the day.

The new HERSHEY'S Snapsy Milk Chocolate Bunnies are made to be easy to share. There are scored parts of the bunny that easily snap off. But really, I'm not looking to share this bunny in my house. How could I share something that tastes like a giant HERSHEY'S Kiss? Impossible! {I'll have to make sure everyone has his/her own.} ;)

Also new this year are the JOLLY RANCHER Jelly Beans. I tried out the Wild Berry flavors. These are way too good for a sweet tooth like mine. {Watermelon is my favorite of the flavors but they're all delicious.}

Finally, I HAVE to tell you about the Celebrate with HERSHEY'S website. On this site, you'll find a complete listing of what HERSHEY'S products are available for Easter, as well as basket ideas, crafts, recipes, and more! They have the cutest ideas there so you'll want to visit for sure.

Speaking of crafts, I saw a cute wreath craft on that site. The wreath is fully covered with HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Eggs. I wanted to do something similar to that craft but do it in a way that is a little easier for little ones to help out with.

What you'll need:

1 Bag o HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Eggs
1 piece of cardboard you can reuse {If you want to cut an exact circle, you may want to use a compass.}
1 box cutter
1 Glue gun
Ribbon

I started out by making my circle and cutting it out. {I used an old box lid left over from moving and grabbed my compass so I could make a perfect circle.} Then, I used the box cutter to cut it out.

Grabbing my ribbon, I cut about a 2 foot length and folded down about 2 inches, securing just the bottom of the loop with my hot glue gun to create a tab for hanging.

I then used my hot glue gun to secure the ribbon completely to the front of my "wreath" and also secured the excess on the back. Now, if you have enough ribbon, you may want to wrap the whole wreath to make a pretty background for the eggs. I didn't have enough, so I grabbed a marker and colored the the wreath.

This is a good part to let the little ones help out on.

Finally, finding the back seam on each egg, I put a bead of hot glue from top to bottom and placed it on the wreath until it was full. I finished off the wreath by cutting a length of ribbon to tie around the wreath and add a bow.

Tada!

This is a fast and easy project and it looks so cute. Just keep in mind, once the eggs are glued to the wreath, they're not going to be OK to eat. ;)

5 Ways to Keep Your Kids Occupied on Car Trips {#spon}

Unhappy children can make a long trip seem even longer for their parents. By breaking the trip into stages, the trip will be manageable for you and seem shorter to them. The key is to take charge and provide a variety of activities that don't involve technology.

Hold The Technology

Tell your children that technology is not an option until you say it is. This strategy is useful for preventing technology burnout that may happen long before the trip is over. You will be fresher yourself and can interact better at the beginning of the trip. That means that this strategy makes sense for you, too.

Start With The Window

For stage 1, think of the window as your friend. Car bingo is excellent for getting children engaged in their surroundings. Each child gets five items to find, such as a barn, a blue car, a road sign with the letter Q, etc. You may need to play along with a younger child or with an only child. Each time they accomplish their goal, give them five more items. Also, try the ABC game where they must find items beginning with each letter or where they must find words on signs beginning with each letter.

Inside the Car

For stage 2, you can move the focus inside the car. I-Spy or Twenty Questions can keep children occupied. A game called school is actually a fun way to pass some time. Children are asked simple, even silly question, and they graduate to the next grade each time they get it right. These questions can be tailored to their interests, such as dinosaurs, favorite books, favorite cartoons, etc. For even more fun, let them ask you questions and see just who reaches graduation first.

Surprise!

For stage 3, when their interest wanes, reach under the seat and pull out a surprise gift. The best kind is interactive such as a coloring book or puzzle book, assuming that this will not cause car sickness. Stage 5 is quiet time, which may include the promise of technology at the end. Once you have exhausted all other ideas, that’s when technology is your friend. Let them listen to child-friendly music for a while before you give into screen time. If everyone sings along, it will help them pass the time more than if they listen alone. I was sent a $100 gift card to spend in the store and thought I would try and find something for my youngest, who usually gets her sister's hand-me-downs and is growing much faster than her big sister did. I headed in to the store and gathered up what I thought to be around $100 worth of clothes. I wasn't too disappointed with what I came up with either.

Something New That Doesn't Quite Fit

Since being diagnosed with depression, I've felt this need to look out, beyond myself. You see, at the time I was diagnosed, I was halfway through reading a book call Desperate: Hope for the mom who needs to breathe {by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson}. This book offered me encouragement in the fact that I was not alone in my many stay-at-home roles. It brought me inspiration.

These things, these lessons I'm learning as light is shed on the deepest parts of my heart are personal and important. The last thing I want is to keep all of this to myself. And so, I've started a new blog called Seasons Change.

The very idea behind that name is that nothing in this life is permanent. I know my dark season will pass and bring something new. Through the changes and the lessons, the sorrow and the joy, I want to share those things with you. I want to virtually link arms with you and run with enthusiasm to whatever life brings. I want to compare notes and have conversations about things that have become secrets but don't need to be secrets. In my God, there is no condemnation. No shame.

I intend to keep reviews and giveaways going here at Coffee With The Mrs. as well as sharing on the lighthearted parts of my life. And really, the only reason I started a new blog altogether was because I intend to keep it free from "commercial breaks". I'll still be enjoying my coffee and I hope you'll bring yours over. This new space is where I hope you'll feel comfortable curling up on the couch, turning down the noise in life, and talking with me about deeper things. I'll be sure to reply to comments and I've set up an email just for that blog should you feel more comfortable talking with me that way.

Repeat After Me: I Will Not Compare Myself To Others

It's so hard to be a mom and to NOT compare yourself to other moms. Very quickly, one may find herself with a shopping list that doesn't fit the budget for brands and items that aren't a true "need" but would help her keep up with the rest of the flock. It's a slippery slope and it's something I've struggled with on and off since I've become a mom myself.

Over the years, I've improved for certain. I've gotten out of the "brand" game and decided that whatever I think is best + whatever fits the budget = my reality. {Magic!} But there's still this nagging comparison that has lingered. I thought, perhaps if I vent my imperfections with you it would help.

I don't cook organic meals for my family. It's a wonderful concept and I would do it if I could. The truth is, I can't afford to buy organic everything so I don't. It's hard enough dealing with finding lactose free items for my son, let alone feeding a whole family that way.
I gave all three of my children formula at some point. They're healthy and normal kiddos and I did it with their best intentions in mind since I could never get the hang of breastfeeding long enough to make it through a year.
I have to make myself leave my computer some days. It's an easy escape for me to hop on and dive into the facebook/pinterest/instagram of it all. This is something I've learned to harness but I could get a better handle on it.
I am jealous of the moms who have the wardrobe I wish I could afford...for both myself and my kiddos. This is something I am too hard on myself about but it's real, nonetheless.
I skip chores sometimes. I look at my list and decide I don't want to do it all, so I don't. That means I have a lazy side.
As soon as I moved from the condo into the house, I gave up on cloth diapering. I had too much to adjust to and I didn't deem it to be as important as learning first how to take care of this great {as in large} space.

You see, my comparison monster has to do with how I parent and run my house more than anything else. If I hear some mom talking about some organic spread or this new thing she's trying for meal prep, I have a hard time sharing with her my enthusiasm for Taco Night and Pancakes for Dinner. Something in me believes she's better than me. It's not true.

Each mom is different and each has her own way of loving and raising her family. I can't guilt myself for not being someone else or not having the finances to afford the organic options of my favorite foods or the latest fashions. There's no shame in the fact that I am just ME and this is MY family. After all, the measuring stick isn't between one mom and another, it's between a mom and the family she's raising.

{The hubster tells me all the time that I'm doing a good job. ;) }

Better yet...what about when I take who I am and look at myself the way God sees me? By doing that, all the silly comparison notes quickly fall by the wayside. HE loves me AS IS. Of course, He wants me to continue to become a better version of myself as I become more like Him. But He certainly doesn't want me to try and be like anyone else around me. I can admire someone and learn from them but I can't try to be who they are.

The Diagnosis Is Depression

I started feeling strange last week. I was more fatigued than normal and then began to feel a tightness around my throat. Gradually, the tight feeling grew worse and I found that I was feeling on the verge of tears every moment of every day. {I finally had a melt down while making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.}

I was scared stiff from this feeling. I thought something was going wrong with my thyroid.

I went in to see a doctor and had a long chat with him. The problem was, my symptoms matched up with a thyroid gone wonky, but they also matched up with depression. When he first said "depression", I was very confused. Certainly, I'm not depressed.

The doctor drew blood for a thyroid panel and said I would get a call back the next day on its results.

Normal.

I'm 100% healthy. It's just that, those results mean I'm depressed.

"What in the world? Why? I'm FINE!" were my initial thoughts. Then that tightening around my throat grew tighter. As I raised my hand to my throat in an effort to comfort the tightness away, I had to accept it; depression was attacking me pretty hard.

But where did this come from?

Well, this is my first year homeschooling and we did just move into our new home before Thanksgiving. And then in January, the hubster had 2 trips, 2 weeks in a row followed by the time he needed to begin working a minimum of 55 hours a week. I think he clocked in about 80 or so hours last week. Yes, now it's beginning to make sense. I'm overwhelmed and I've placed myself as the last possible person on the list.

So, here's my plan. I'm not going to give in to this. I'm not going to let a diagnosis of depression turn me into a depressed person. I'm going to fight for myself because I just realized I'm worth something. I'm worth a lot. And you? You're worth a lot too.

We are not victims of our circumstances but we can be chiseled with great character by them.

My fight has started and I'm not going to give up. I'm going to spend time seeking out the great things about me and being honest with myself. I'm going to take care of myself and speak up if I need something.

Castaway Bay: My Review & What's In It For You {Giveaway}

Last weekend, my family and I packed up our van and drove a few hours south to Sandusky, Ohio where we were invited to stay with a group of bloggers at Castaway Bay. Castaway Bay is one of the resorts for Cedar Point and has something fun for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The Hotel:

When we checked in at Castaway Bay, and as we spent time exploring the resort, my little ones became excited by all they saw. From the "pirate ship" in the lobby, to the shop full of Peanuts character goodies, to Club Castaway, to the arcade and water park, my kiddos felt like this resort was meant for them. I loved seeing them excited to be there, too. It feels good to know they were somewhere that invited them to be kids and have fun.

There's plenty for adults to do as well. There was a spa in the resort {where little ones could also get their nails painted}, and even a TGIFridays restaurant. Yum! There is also plenty of Starbucks coffee on hand {of most importance to me, lol} and treats too!

Our room was the "Starfish" room. It had 2 queen beds, a closet, a mini fridge, a microwave, a flat screen tv, a small table with 2 chairs, a bathroom with a bathtub/shower, and a view of the bay. The room was nice and was very clean. My only criticism is a personal one as I'm pretty sure we've outgrown a room like this as a family of 5. The big kids don't share a bed very well and there wasn't room for a roll-away after we set up Mikayla's pack 'n play. However, there are suites available at Castaway Bay and rooms that would fit us comfortably and allow us all to get a good night's rest.

The event:

We received the warmest of welcomes in our room from Castaway Bay and it got all of us excited to be there. There was even a note welcoming each of us by name!! After we got settled, we went to play in the water park and then came back to our room to get ready for dinner.

Castaway Bay had pizza, salad, chips, and drinks waiting for us. What's more, they took the time to make sure my son had a lactose free option for dinner. He felt special and I felt at ease, ready to enjoy the evening. After dinner, we went over to their ballroom to decorate cookies and have fun as a family. We also were given towels to color with fabric markers and a photo opp with Snoopy. We all had a great time at the dinner but it was clear to me they weren't quite ready to go to bed.

Enter, Castaway Bay activities!!!

I took my 2 oldest kiddos upstairs to Club Castaway. While we were there, my son sang karaoke, we had a blast dancing at the dance party with Lucy, and we ended our evening with a Peanuts movie and story time with Snoopy. I kept hearing how much fun my little ones were having as our night unfolded. I had a lot of fun with them too and was so grateful to be able to share that time with them.

The Waterpark:

This waterpark wasn't as big as some of the others we've visited in the past, but that certainly didn't take away from its element of fun. My girls spent most of their time in the 0-entry, toddler pool where they splashed and played. Alex spent time with the hubster by the wave pool and then circled back around to play with us girls for a little bit. Beyond those two areas, there is also a big "tree house" to play in with a large bucket that dumps water every few minutes, there are many slides including one that takes you all the way around the waterpark, there is a hot tub for adults, basketball for big and little kids, and also a pool with lily pads to jump. One of my favorite things was seeing the boats filled with life preservers all over the place. They were handy and helpful as my little ones switched from one activity to another.

In the waterpark, there is also a snack stand and locker rooms. I found these two things to be wonderful since people checking in can enjoy the water park while they wait for their room and can also play there the entire day after they check out. Having somewhere to keep your things and something to eat is most helpful for families who choose to take advantage of this.

The Arcade:

If a hotel has an arcade, we simply can't stay away from it. My kiddos love to play games and win prizes, even if they happen to be small prizes most of the time. The arcade in Castaway Bay had all kinds of fun games and a neat system for "coins" and "tickets". All of the credits you buy go on a card and so do the tickets you win at each game. It's a pretty neat set-up and makes it a lot easier to keep track of what you have left and how many tickets you've earned without having to carry around cups full of tokens and tickets. We enjoyed our play time here and the kiddos each won a little something.

THE LION KING Plays In Detroit Feb. 13 - March 10

Last night, my 5 year old son had his first theater experience. I thought THE LION KING, a Disney musical, would be the perfect way to introduce him to the theater arts and it far surpassed my expectations. Our tickets put us on the main floor, center stage. We quickly learned that this was a wonderful place to be sitting.

As The Circle of Life played, we saw the most amazing animals coming down the aisles on either side of us, making their way to the stage. We both found the elephant to be the most impressive and really enjoyed watching all the great, African animals move around on the stage as they celebrated the birth of the lion cub, Simba. This opening score took my breath away and literally brought tears to my eyes. The majesty of the pride lands matched with the warmth of welcome and a touch of Disney magic was the perfect opening to the incredible story and journey of Simba, his family, and his kingdom.

The costumes in this production are absolutely amazing. There were so many times I found myself watching an animal move only to realize there was a person bringing that animal to life. Many of the costumes are more like life-size or larger than life puppets. The detail in every single piece was not lost on me. I can't even begin to imagine the time, effort, and talent that went into making these things a reality and a true feast for the eyes.

The cast for this production is impressive beyond words but for me the stand-out performances came from Scar {Timothy Carter} and Rafiki {Buyi Zama}. Scar quickly became a character who got to me. He sounded exactly like the Scar I remembered from the Lion King movie I watched when I was younger but he was far more captivating of a character watching him on stage. Timothy Carter set the scene for much of Simba's story in a strong and memorable way. I'm sure audience members will love to hate him as much as I did. And as for Rafiki, hers is a character I couldn't get enough of in a completely different way. She carried with her a presence of wisdom and a feeling of home whenever she was on the stage. I loved her as I do the people who have encouraged me in my own life. {Strange to think I relate people to a baboon but she was really that good and I make that connection in the most loving of ways}.

Whether you have a little one you would like to introduce to the theater arts or you're a grown up who would like to be a kid again, don't miss this production while it's in town. It was a production I didn't just enjoy for a night, I'll keep it in my heart for a lifetime.

In regards to my son, he can't yet pick just one part to be his favorite. He enjoyed his experience and asked me this morning if we can go back and see it again. He's also been singing some of the songs we heard and I'm thinking about buying him the soundtrack.

Oh, my goodness. Eliana is going to be so excited when she finds out Rapunzel will be the star of the next Disney On Ice show coming from March 14th-17th. And if that doesn't get her excited, she'll be happy to know that Cinderella will be there too. I swear, between Tangled and Cinderella, our DVD player doesn't get much of a break. :)
