If you enjoy watching programmes such as the X Factor, I'm a Celebrity and Big Brother but do not like spending money on premium line phone numbers then a new website called Free2call is looking to change things so that you can vote for free.

The idea is that you visit the site and obtain a special freephone number for the person you want to vote for and dial that number. However, before you can register your vote you need to listen to a short advert and after that you're vote will be counted.

The website currently shows that 'Lines are closed' and is a relatively new website but my understanding is that when voting starts on the X Factor the telephone numbers will be displayed and then when the lines are closed the message that is currently shown will re-appear.
