On May 21, 2013, the Center for a New American Security hosted Admiral Jonathan W. Greenert, Chief of Naval Operations at the Willard InterContinental Hotel. The admiral addressed the U.S. Navy posture in the Asia-Pacific region in a speech entitled "Asia-Pacific Rebalance: Strengthening Regional Maritime Security and Partnerships."
