IMHO it's much more pleasant and productive than Java in almost every aspect. BTW, you might want to have a look at http://nodebox.net/ which is in a certain way similar to Processing as environment.

Hi Sascha,

thanks for adding the Python resources (think I bookmarked the ixi-audio page already). Didn't had the chance / time to have a closer look at Python yet, but I was told that it's easy to learn (compared to Java). Could be worth a try!?

Hi Aaron,
glad you like them and thanks for recommending Sleeveage. I bookmarked their website some moths ago, but didn't had a closer look at featured artworks and artists so far. 'll give it a go soon.

The sleeve material in case you are interested is a serviboard grey carton - glued/processed inside-out. The back side has a silky-matt and softly gleaming surface that looks great printed with deep and high-contrast Pantone colors.

Hey Andreas, at first thanks for taking this blog's virginity... =)
Really like your surfaceLib, even if it tooks me ages to get the math behind. And true, it's a good challenge to create somthing unique that doesn't refer to previous or at least Marius' works.
Discarding the centered position and rotation could become an option. I'm also working on some sketches that I would like to use for some 12" vinyl artworks... 'll keep you updated.
Take Care...
