Gatorade and Zoo York teamed up to produce a limited edition bottle to congratulate Chaz Ortiz on going Pro with Zoo York this past spring, with his own signature model deck. Only 1,000 bottle were produced and they’re not available in stores.

The Spätzle Jam 2010 date’s announced! The 2010 Spätzle Jam will take place in Stuttgart, Germany on August 6th and 7th. The Spätzle Jam always has been and definitely will be again a relaxed Jam Session through the whole city of Stuttgart. Riders as Photographers and Filmers are invited to get creative for two days. Lomo: Fisheye No 2 – Rip Curl Special Edition

The Lomographic Society and Rip Curl teamed up to bring this special edition of the well known Fisheye 2. The camera comes in vibrant colors, has Rip Curl logos applied and of course features a built-in flash. With this release a competition started, split into three different creative challenges, Stage I – Whole Lotta Love!, Stage II – Looking for Trouble?, Stage III – Life’s a Roadtrip! Each of this sub-categories gives you the opportunity to express your creativity combining surfing, skateboarding and analogue photography. As a reward there’ll be tons of giveaways by Lomography and Ripcurl as well as these grand prizes: 2 trips to the RipCurl Pro Bells Beach in April 2011, 2 trips to the RipCurl Pro Peniche in October 2011. Typographics Video – Boca and Ryan Uhrich

Student project done by Boca (aka Marcos Ceravolo) and Ryan Uhrich for the term 4 Motion Design Class in the Digital Design Program at VFS (Vancouver Film School). Typographics is an informative motion graphics piece on typography. The objective was to use type as the main aestheic and design element to create awareness about the evolution and main characteristics of typography. Both the music and voice over used in the piece make reference to 1950’s TV and Radio advertising. Typographics targets designers and non designers who have an interest in typography and want to learn more about it. To complete the video there is a corresponding poster using the elements of the clip available for download at bocamotion.tv

The Seed

A two-minute animated voyage through nature’s life cycle, following the trials and tribulations of a humble apple seed.

The film was kindly funded by Adobe, made using their CS4 range of software. It was produced at Nexus Productions and features a soundtrack by Jape. It was made using a mixture of stop motion papercraft and 2D drawn animation.
