Dear Red,

If you've reading this, you've gotten out,
And if you've come this far, maybe you've willing to come a little further.

You remember the name of the town, don't you?
I could use a good man to help me get my project on wheels.
I will keep an eye out for you and the chessboard ready.

Remember. Red, Hope is a good thing.
Maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.
I will hoping that this letter finds you, and find you well.

your friend,
Andy.

(Hope is a good thing)。

Heywood: Couldn't play somethin' good, huh? Hank Williams?
Andy: They broke the door down before I could take requests.
Floyd: Was it worth two weeks in the hole?
Andy: Easiest time I ever did.
Heywood: Shit. No such thing as easy time in the hole. A week seems like a year.
Andy: I had Mr. Mozart to keep me company. Hardly felt the time at all.
Red: Oh, they let you tote that record player down there, huh? I could'a swore they confiscated that stuff.
Andy: The music was here... and here. That's the one thing they can't confiscate, not ever. That's the beauty of it. Haven’t you ever felt that way about music?
Red: I played a mean harmonica as a younger man. Lost interest in it though. Didn't make much sense in here.
Andy: Here's where it makes the most sense. You need it so you don't forget.
Red: Forget?
Andy: Forget that... there are places in this world that aren't made out of stone. That there's something inside... that they can't get to, that they can't touch. That's yours.
Red: What are you talking about?
Andy: Hope.

The river is famous to the fish.

The loud voice is famous to silence,
which knew it would inherit the earth
before anybody said so.

The cat sleeping on the fence is famous to the birds
watching him from the birdhouse.

The tear is famous, briefly, to the cheek.

The idea you carry close to your bosom
is famous to your bosom.

The boot is famous to the earth,
more famous than the dress shoe,
which is famous only to floors.

The bent photograph is famous to the one who carries it
and not at all famous to the one who is pictured.

I want to be famous to shuffling men
who smile while crossing streets,
sticky children in grocery lines,
famous as the one who smiled back.

I want to be famous in the way a pulley is famous,
or a buttonhole, not because it did anything spectacular,
but because it never forgot what it could do.

lol

他們的嘗試，似乎呼應了 Diplo 在時代雜誌專訪中提到的 “The only motivation is how crazy can we get, how far can we get as a producer, how unique can we make it sound,” Diplo says.”

Brian Lam (前Gizmodo科技記者)，他創立的網站 The Wirecutter 和 The Sweethome 就做到了。

The Wirecutter

是他受 SECRET 7” 活動之邀，為 Tame Impala 的歌曲 "The Less I Know the Better" 所創作的單曲封面。

Always be drunk.
That's it!

The great imperative!
In order not to feel
Time's horrid fardel
bruise your shoulders,
grinding you into the earth,
Get drunk and stay that way.

On what?
On wine, poetry, virtue, whatever.
But get drunk.

And if you sometimes happen to wake up
on the porches of a palace,
in the green grass of a ditch,
in the dismal loneliness of your own room,
your drunkenness gone or disappearing,
ask the wind,
the wave,
the star,
the bird,
the clock,
ask everything that flees,
everything that groans
or rolls
or sings,
everything that speaks,
ask what time it is;

and the wind,
the wave,
the star,
the bird,
the clock
will answer you:
"Time to get drunk!

Don't be martyred slaves of Time,
Get drunk!
Stay drunk!
On wine, virtue, poetry, whatever!"

"what the mirror said" 這詩是她1980年的作品。

listen,
you a wonder.
you a city
of a woman.
you got a geography
of your own.
listen,
somebody need a map
to understand you.
somebody need directions
to move around you.
listen,
woman,
you not a noplace
anonymous
girl;
mister with his hands on you
he got his hands on
some
damn
body!

Although data mining involves software, it also requires skills that may not be common among programmers. In software engineering, the ability to write efficient, high-quality code from requirements may be paramount. Team members may be evaluated using software metrics such as the amount of code written or number of bug tickets closed. In analytics, it's more important for individuals to be able to formulate problems well, to prototype solutions quickly, to make reasonable assumptions in the face of ill-structured problems, to design experiments that represent good investments, and to analyze results. - Foster Provost and Tom Fawcett

We all want things to stay the same, David. Settle for living in misery because we’re afraid of change, of things crumbling to ruins. Then I looked around this place, at the chaos it’s endured, the way it’s been adapted, burnt, pillaged then found a way to build itself back up again and I was reassured. Maybe my life hasn’t been so chaotic, it’s just the world that is and the only real trap is getting attached to any of it.

Ruin is a gift. Ruin is the road to transformation.

Even in this eternal city, the Augusteum showed me that we must always be prepared for endless waves of transformation.
