 power*players  - here's my very belated conbribution to the frog crowd sourcing project on 'power'. apple dominating the in floor hide away charging sockets. made to fit? i'm not sure but geometrically it's a pretty nice fit

 misguided*perception  - "the future of documentary is lies" is the fitting wrtie up for the new joaqiun phonex 'documentary'. a genius film that really fucks with your mind, you'll come out feeling a bit put out but it is amazing, most interesting thing i have seem in ages. don't read about it, just watch it

 graphics[19]  - doc in NE portland; your dinning experience starts by walking through their kitchen into the intimate dinning room. dinner is what they have on the day and each dish comes with a perfectly matching vino. awesome place - now i understand what the fuss is all about! check it out.

 e-money  -  my love affair with japanese taxis continues [everything but the price]. does being able to use my e-transport card in them make them public transport?...seeing tokyo from a taxi gave me a new perspective on town. it's great to discover the real place after living from an underground map for so long

 tools[02]  - so three pairs of these akihabara video glasses are enough to get you through a 9 hr day. i was impressed with the vid and sound they managed to capture compared to the ones we had such a fiasco with in Russia last year. no extra wires, no give-a-way screeches but hardly discrete...just put them on and go...coming to a shop along near you soon...

 streetwear[02]  - hipster #1 - a good encounter en route to harajuku last sunday.

 conveninece[02]  - i keep walking past 'gangs of padlock-boxes' [insert collective noun//insert locktype name] chained to vacant rental apartments around town. the estate agent provides you with the lock combination's so that you can take out the key and access the property by yourself. amazing, no more awkward property viewings with estate agents, whilst also giving passers by a sense of how many apartments are currently available for rent.
