How to Detect Keylogger Program or Application

A Key logger is a program or application that basically records all the keystrokes from the keyboard and stores the "logs" for later retrieval.
Keylogger is usually keep hidden and you as a computer user will never know that someone is stalking.

You can actually detect keylogger manually, simply by checking the tasks running, running a regular antivirus check, scanning hard drive, running spyware like Spyware Doctor and Super Antispyware. But this is time-consuming and sometimes still compromises your PC.

The best thing to do is to download a specific keylogger detector program. There are some available programs that detect then remove or quarantine keyloggers, but it will cost you $15 to $50. If you want a free download, I suggest you use KL Detector.

KL Detector is free software that detects key loggers, but it doesn't remove or quarantine the program. However, it still good enough for personal use. KL-Detector V1.3 works for Windows system, particularly Windows 2000 and Windows XP. You can download it here.

Infolinks Lowest Payment for Paypal and Payoner Users

This is a good news for all publishers as Infolinks decided to change the current payment threshold starting last month (February).
The payment threshold of $50 will be available for Payoneer and Paypal users.

However, those publishers choosing to continue to receive payments via Bank Wire or regular ACH will have their payout increase to $400.

To support the new payment system, and due to the high processing fees involved with Bank wires and regular ACH – the Payment threshold for publishers choosing to continue to receive their payments via Bank Wire or regular ACH will be increased to $400. If your earnings are less than that threshold at the end of the month, these funds will be carried over to the next month.

All publishers wishing to receive payments at this lower threshold are encouraged to update the selected form of payment today either to Payoneer or Paypal.

Shenzhen P88 Specs and Features | An iPad Clone?

A Chinese company, Shenzhen, is claiming that its iPad knockoff is in fact the original design that has been copied by Apple.
The Shenzhen P88 has been on the market in China for already seven months. This gadget is just similar to a bigger iPhone.

Xiaolong Wu, the president of the Shenzhen Great Loong Brother company that makes the P88, gave an interview to Spanish national newspaper El Mundo.

If the iPad comes to China, he says, “We won’t have any choice but to report them,” because “it will certainly affect our sales.” The charge? Oddly, El Mundo reports the crime as “plagiarism,” although we assume it means IP or copyright infringement.

Smart Communications’ Red Mobile has launched recently its own unlimited service that will cater mobile users using the second SIM.
The unlimited service is both available for red-to-red call and text, and also a free text messages to other mobile networks.

According to Danilo Mojica, Smart Wireless Consumer Division Head:

“Filipino mobile lifestyles are changing. A segment of mobile phone users now have second mobile subscriptions which they use for their calling circles. Backed by the nation widest network of the country’s leading wireless services provider, we are making Red Mobile services more accessible, more relevant and more affordable for the increasingly mobile Filipino.”

Denomination starts at Php 25 with 1 day validity of unlimited red-to-red call and text, plus 60 free texts to all networks. Second denomination is worth Php 125 with 7 days validity of free call and text with 300 free texts to all networks. The highest denomination is Php 500, that’s a 30 days unli call and text with 1000 free text to all other networks. The free text offer is valid until May 31, 2010.

To register, simply text UNLI25; UNLI125; UNLI500; and send to 9949. There’s no need for a Php 1 maintaining balance.

You can reload either electronically at any Smart Retailer nationwide, or convert your regular load to unlimited load.

Apple iPad Launch in the US

Early this year, Apple unveiled its latest product next to iPhone 3GS- the iPad. This tablet-style gadget comes with great features, and finally in less than a month- this will be out in the market.

Yes, Apple iPad will be launched in the US on April 13. Pre-orders will start next week, March 12. If you wish to pre-order an iPad, you can do so either online or from one of the Apple retail stores. Other countries like Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will have the launching in late April.

Why I am Blogging?

I've been blogging for more than a year now, and on this post I'll try to figure out why exactly I am blogging.

It started on my quest just to learn how to build a website. I designed my very first website using Joomla as the CMS hosted on my own computer as the server. Then I tried another one using Drupal. I decided to find another alternative website builder just to make tasks easier, and finally- I found Blogger.

Yes, it's Blogger. Before I learned to use Wordpress, everything really started on Blogger. I designed my own personal website in Blogger that basically turned into a blog. And that's CITE-Technologian.com.

This week, I published several articles that really drive traffic on this blog. Suddenly, a friend of mine asked me- "Why you keep on Blogging?"

I realized I really have to identify what motivates me to blog. I will not keep beating around the bush; instead I'll answer the question just not to make this post long. LOL...

1. To Share - I am the kind of person who always loves to share things I know. I'm actually a bibliophile yet still have poor writing skills. Reading about a lot of things makes a person more knowledgeable. So instead of telling them personally, I write it on a blog post.

2. To Learn - When you are blogging, you are always learning. You do research, read other blogger's post, leave comments and exchange ideas. You learn new things, and eventually you find other things to share on your blog.

3. Enhance Skills - As I've said, everything started on learning to build a website. It turns out that I am already into this passion. So I'll just make use of it to enhance my skills on designing blogs. I will have more blogging tips once the pre-writing challenge is finished. Thus, I encourage you to subscribe.

4. To Earn - I'll be honest here. One way to make money online is through blogging. Everything I invested on learning, sharing, and keeping my skills enhanced will definitely turn into a great ROI. You see this blog has advertising partners, that's a proof that I'm monetizing this blog.

New RemoveWAT Download Link

It’s just only a week when Microsoft released the update KB971033 to WAT, but it looks like a new RemoveWAT update has been released also allowing illegal activation of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

This program completely removes Windows Activation Technologies (WAT) from the computer. The new updated version is v 2.2.5 which allows bypassing of WAT update KB971033.

RemoveWAT update features disabling continuous shutdowns and take care of the KB971033 update. Many Windows 7 users who haven’t upgraded to final version yet might be looking for the download link.

Windows 7 Keygen and Cracks might also be available on the web soon. This seems to be a cat and mouse game between Microsoft and the pirates. I’m definitely sure Microsoft will again release an update for this new hack.

My 3G for Wi-Fi iPhone Apps

An application called My3G will allow iPhone Wi-Fi only apps to run on a 3G network.

My3G simply makes iPhone applications believe that they are running on WiFi instead of 3G. This means that you iPhone users can already watch YouTube videos or call friends on Skype over 3G network.

Published on iClarified, the following are the features of My3G:

1. In-App popup request to enable/never ask for My3G to be enabled for that app.
2. In-App indicator when My3G changes the network from 3G to WiFi.
3. Ability to select which apps are My3G enabled and not.
4. Default Apps - no configuration for the most popular apps!
5. SBSettings Toggle! You can temporarily enable My3G for all apps or toggle back using your defined Apps list.
6. Dynamic enablement - Higher successs rate (near 100%) then 3G Unrestrictor (which does one off solutions for apps). My3G enables 3G indicators more dynamically.

By the way, if you have the 3G Unrestrictor installed- My 3G will replace it. In addition to this, this app uses RockApp which will also be installed during installation. My3G costs $2.79, but a free trial is offered alongside the RockApp install.

How to Check the Actual Website with Shortened URL

Previously, I talked about Cool Previews- a Firefox plugin that allows you to browse the internet faster, preview links, and share media over the internet without leaving your current page. Though you can only use this on supported browsers, you won’t be able to preview links on other browsers like internet explorer.

If you spend much time on the internet, you are always getting a bunch of links either from tweets on Twitter, wall updates on Facebook, or any other means. Some of these links are actually shortened like http://bit.ly/bcx74a , http://tinyurl.com/ycjqhwz , http://tiny.cc/H2dHb , http://is.gd/9Fyka , and etc. These forms of links are sometimes suspicious because you are not sure where exactly it will redirect you. Besides of being suspicious, you are putting your job at risk if you tend to click the link and found out that you landed on a webpage not allowed at the office. Whatever your reasons though, you might have think of ways in which you can check the real destination page or website of a shortened link.

I am going to share you two ways to browse the web with confidence. If you want to know where shortened URL’s really goes, just use LongURL or unhid. With these online tools, you can easily preview short URL from every shortening service like the one used on the links above. Wanna try? SSS Inquiry Via SMS | Text Service from Social Security System

Good news to all SSS members! The Philippine Social Security System (SSS) announced that on March 8, a new service will be available to cater queries on the members’ contribution, loan eligibility, or loan balances.

The service is called Text-SSS; an information service system allowing members to inquire SSS related info via text messages or SMS. Using the mobile phone, members can register and get their PIN simply by texting the word 'SSS' and sending to 2910 or 2600.

The new Text-SSS facility is said to being implemented in partnership with EGG and Sybase Solutions Corporation. This is an alternative means though, so that members can obtain faster information about their SSS.

So far, no other information released yet, like the formats of other SMS to send for every query.

Windows 7 Keygen, Crack and Free Product Keys

Most Win 7 RC users are now experiencing a bihourly shutdown as Microsoft had already activated what they called a “Windows 7 Kill Switch”. Some are now looking for ways to extend Win 7 RC; some are trying to find key generators, cracks, or free product keys.

The Windows 7 activation hack called RemoveWAT is used to bypass or compromise Windows Activation Technologies. However, Microsoft released an anti-piracy update KB971033 to WAT which detects activation exploits and tampering to key Windows system files.

Who is Viewing Your Album Facebook App Spam

Last time, I wrote about Photas- a very annoying Facebook app which tells you that you have been tagged in a photo. The fact is, it's just only a spam. Tonight, just another annoying Facebook app keep on spamming FB users.

This FB app is named "Who is Viewing Your Album". It leaves so much old comments on your wall once you go to the application. Take a look at the screenshot below.

I thought at first that this is an app that will allow Facebook users to check who viewed their profile, but it's not. I personally suggest not to go to the application as you will just find your wall updated with spams.
