There is no equivalent like "sms:". On a side note: a T9 texting app would have to be a native app as it uses a rather large database (considering bad transfer speeds while on the go). Loading such a DB in Safari on the iPhone wouldn't be a good idea I guess. An app for writing SMS messages isn’t possible at the moment. Wide Mail Keyboard basically uses a “mailto:” URL which opens Mail when clicked. There is no equivalent like “sms:”.
