The ace director Shankar and the rest of the Endhiran team are very much excited as there are only two days left for the audio launch of Rajinis never before made mega budget film in Malaysia.

Shankar on speaking about the script of the film said, Endhiran script was originally penned more than a decade ago with Kamal sir in mind. But when I decided to make the film with Rajini sir, necessary changes were made to the script to suit the Superstars image.

Recalling few things in the past, Shankar said, I initially planned to direct my debut film Gentleman with Sarath Kumar in the lead. When it was later decided to make the movie with Arjun playing the protagonist, some changes were made in the script.

Both Asal and Vaaranam Aayiram had good stories. Above all I like Ajith and Gowtham Menon. That is why I agreed to act in these films. The famous actress as well as ace director Maniratnams wife Suhasini has met the Chennai Commissioner of Police T Rajendran to take action against the pirated DVDs and save the movie Raavanan.

Suhasini while talking to a journalist said Pirated DVDs of the movie were brought to Chennai from Puducherry and other neighboring States. We have also lodged a complaint to Puducherry Chief Minister Vaithilingam.

The police chief has immediately requested his subordinates to look into the issue. she adds further

She denied the reports saying that some of the film industry people are also involved in getting the pirated DVDs out.
