Church Website Content Marketing 101 https://www.churchrelevance.com/2019/12/04/church-website-content-marketing-101/ Wed, 04 Dec 2019 09:00:20 +0000 https://churchrelevance.com/?p=20440 Church Website Content Marketing 101

Coke or Pepsi? Whichever camp you fall in, there’s no denying the power of a content marketing campaign. A few years ago, I was on a church youth trip when we stopped in at a gas station. The majority of the students left that gas station with a bottle of Coke in hand. They didn’t all just love Coke, but because Coke had recently launched its “Share a Coke” campaign, the students loved finding their names on the bottles. They shared pictures on social media, visited Coke’s website, and it became somewhat of a theme for the trip. Coke had found a new, engaging way to content market. When I was working as a church communicator, I distinctly remember walking into my office on a Monday morning, shutting the door, and then just staring at the dashboard in my project management software that served as my weekly to-do list. I knew I needed to get started tackling those tasks, but instead, I just […]
