Since 2007 my family and I have been blessed with the opportunity of helping families provide Christmas gifts for their children. We've done this through several wonderful programs. This year we were blessed to do this through two fabulous programs Letters To Santa & Christmas Angels for Children.

And of course as we've done the past 5 years we've been sending little Christmas Luvmail to children within the USA!

I'm Listening

Even as a child I've always held this burning within to serve. Not fully knowing what that even meant. I did, however, know that I wanted to change peoples lives. I wanted them to smile and not frown. I wanted them to feel joy and not pain. I've attempted in many ways to make this my reality, but the problem lies in two words -- My Reality. I kept doing things my way until God showed me His Way.

I had what I needed inside me the entire time. I believe God was speaking to me even as a kid, but I didn't hear him. My gift of listening has been with me forever. I can remember friends as far back as fifth grade stating how good a listener I was. Now as an adult I strive to encourage others on a daily basis with God's Words. I'm using my listening skills to uplift those who are hurting or feeling lost.

In this world we all need someone. Someone to just listen. Someone to cry with. Someone to laugh with. Someone to express our fears to. And someone to just say the words we are in need of hearing.

I'm listening. With sweet intent and love in my heart I desire to serve ALL. In this world we look down on others for the color of their skin or their economic status. But in my heart I love all, because at the end of the day we ALL bleed red. We are ALL family in Christ Jesus.

My CALLING is now known to me and I will fulfill it to the best of my ability. I was destined to be a server, a counselor, an encourager, a friend. I'm here for ALL who need me. I'm willing to be that voice of reasoning. I'm able to speak without judging. I'm ready to do God's Will. I'm Listening.

Hello My Lovelies!

I'm here again with more of God's promises to us, but I also have a few biblical scriptures for you to declare as well. Declaring God's word is putting your faith into serious action! It is vitally important that we be very careful of the words we speak. The bible declares that there is life AND death in the tongue. What you are experiencing could be manifested by your words. If we are to have the lives GOD intended for us to have we MUST start speaking in agreement with God's Word (The Holy Bible). I hope you'll read, write and memorize these daily.

Promises:

1. I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. (Isaiah 46:4)

2. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Weightloss Changes

I had taken GCB for three weeks and suddenly developed heart palpitations and SERIOUS acid reflux. I am extremely sensitive to caffeine, so this supplement is NOT meant for me. I've been off of it for over a week and I have been doing beautifully without it. I went to God and asked HIM to suppress and guide my appetite and He is!

So, here's my advice for anyone attempting to live healthier:

1. Turn to and TRUST God for guidance
2. Eat LOTS of fruits and veggies
3. Cut back on carbs
4. Kick sugar to the curb
5. Exercise - if you are disabled in any way I have many tricks I use to get my body in motion. If you need advice or support I'm here for you.

What my doctor and nutritionist suggested was I cut a few calories from my daily intake and that seems to help. But I suggest no one does that unless they have spoken with their doctor first. People hear cut back and they go drastic and that's just NEVER the answer. The answer is patience, faith and taking it one day at a time.

In our household we are studying the Promises God has made to us throughout the Bible. I've heard many people speak about Bible promises, but I wasn't sure where or how to find them. That was until God himself intervened and became my Bible Teacher. So every week we are challenged to find 2 promises and explain exactly how they pertain to us individually.

If you've never read the Bible. If you are skeptical of reading the Bible for whatever reason I pray these posts will ease your doubts and fears. I could say a great deal about the Bible, but what I need to say is this...The Bible is laced with Love & Hope for us ALL. Weekly I'll post 3 promises. God has charged me with this task as a way of getting His Word out to his children and I happily obey. I pray reading these promises will light a spark in MILLIONS of hearts. I pray where there was once darkness reading these promises shall bring forth The Light of God.

As you may know on I started taking a weight loss supplement called "Green Coffee Bean Extract 800mg." I am NOT a fan of weight-loss supplements, but there was something about this that caught my attention. The first thing was it was WORKING for my cousin L. The second thing was there is actually a study done using this supplement. The third is I sought my Doctor's permission FIRST. And fourth I searched for REAL reviews to see how it worked or did not work for others.

Before I give my update I want to state that I am in NO WAY placing all of my hope into this supplement. I am in NO WAY expecting a speedy miracle. Nor am I chasing instant gratification. I AM trusting God to guide my every step. I AM expecting slow results, which are best. I AM exercising and eating as healthy as I possibly can. And most of all I am staying VERY POSITIVE.

Now on to my update! You should know out of sheer frustration Princess Charlie and I murdered our scale a little over a month ago, so we do NOT weigh ourselves via a scale. Scales are bi-polar and discourage the most optimistic person on earth. What we do is measure our bodies once-a-month to see our progress. Today was our measuring day and it was indeed an extremely emotional and rewarding day!

I measured myself once on 8/10 and as of today 9/9 I have lost 4.8 inches from my entire body and Princess Charlie has lost 8.3!!!

I can't speak for everyone else, but this is working for me. It curbs my appetite which causes me to eat less. It has helped me get very good at portion control. It has also ended my obsession with with time watching (looking at the clock to see when I eat again). I eat when I get hungry and NOT a moment before. I stay fuller longer and for me that's a mega PLUS. Yay for living healthier!!!

Every time a baby is created in it's mothers womb God says "It is Good." He loves us from the inside out, so if anyone is judging themselves from the outside please STOP. God does NOT make mistakes and He loves YOU just as you are right now. It's time that YOU do the SAME.

I NEVER talk about weight-loss supplements on my blog nor in my everyday life.

A week ago my cousin and I were discussing my struggles in weigh-loss. With my particular disability exercise is rather tricky and more than often rather painful. I was seriously losing hope, because I REFUSE to do any surgery. Any way my cousin who was seriously injured a year ago in a car accident was explaining that she was now taking "Green Coffee Bean Extract" after watching the Dr. Oz show.

Now, I love Dr. Oz, but I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to weight-loss supplements. I Google searched and found some very interesting things about this supplement.

From Amazon: In 2012, the U.S. National Library of Medicine published a randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled study that evaluated the impact and safety of green coffee bean extract as a weight loss supplement. Over 12 weeks, participants lost an average of 17 pounds by taking green coffee bean extract twice per day, making no other changes to their diet or exercise. On average, they lost 10% of their body weight and 16% of their total body fat. Moreover, they experienced NO SIDE EFFECTS of any kind.

Dr. Oz Quote: “you may think magic is make-believe but this little bean has scientists saying that they found the magic weight loss cure for every body type. It’s green coffee beans and when turned into a supplement this miracle pill can burn fat fast for anyone who wants to lose weight. This is very exciting and breaking news!”

Now let me tell you from PERSONAL experience! I started taking the Green Coffee Bean Extract (800mg) on 8/18/12, two days later on 8/20/12 I wanted to weight myself (never thinking I had lost anything!). After stepping onto the scale I found I had dropped 1 pound and 1 inch around my belly and waist! This supplement does NOT cause you to be jittery AT ALL. It gives me a little boost in energy and makes me feel fuller quicker and longer!

This is HUGE especially for those of us who want to exercise and can't! It is recommended that you take TWO pills per day, but in all honesty I have ONLY taken 1 a day and STILL received awesome results. I have given up sugar, pasta and white bread. I am able to do leg lifts and tummy crunches while sitting ONLY.

I'm doing this blog because someone somewhere is in need of HOPE. This supplement may be the answer for many. I was losing all hope FAST and then a blessing came my way. Know that I didn't just run out and buy this. I researched the product and the company in-which I purchased it from. I read the studies done using Green Coffee Bean Extract. And the greatest thing of ALL is I am living proof that it's working! I have experienced ZERO SIDE EFFECTS, but have experienced GREAT BONUSES! I will update on my progress!

Killing The Sugar Demon

All of my life I've been a sugar lover. Candy, cakes, sugar filled drinks and whatever was sweet was my friend. What I've recently learned is sugar (my so called buddy) stimulates food cravings! I could not figure out why I would eat and while eating I'd be thinking of having seconds. This has been my cycle for far too long.

For a few weeks now I had been noticing weird things with the foods I was eating. Especially things like Crystal light ( has aspartame), and even watermelon. In the middle of eating or drinking my brain would scream "I'm hungrier!"

After praying I decided it was time to walk away from sugar. I'm no doctor nor expert, but I know what's right for me. I'm into day four and what I've noticed is I'm thirstier throughout the day and I have tension in my neck. Sleeping is a bit uneasy due to the tension, but I know this will pass. I have been lactose intolerant and an IBS patient for many years. Giving up sugar has decreased BOTH things dramatically.

I am in serious need of losing 50 pounds. If I lose a little more that will be a blessed bonus, but for NOW 50 is my goal. I want to rid myself of sleep apnea and simply just being uncomfortable in my own body. Baby steps. I'm not experiencing horrid side affects as many have. I'm sure that has a great deal to do with God and nothing to do with me being this super fantastic warrior. :)

My daughter and I are currently reading a book called "A Course in Weight Loss: 21 Spiritual Lessons for Surrendering Your Weight Forever" by Marianne Williamson. In her book Mrs Williamson stated that overeating is a form of self hatred (that blew me over). She also suggests that we realize we do NOT have the ability to overcome "any" eating problem on our own. We need to fully turn to and rely on God. Reading this book has been life altering for both myself and Princess Charlie (who battles with weight issues as well).

I'm on this journey and there's no turning back. Please pray for my daughter and I as we are truly determined to do things God's way. By July 15, 2013 I will have reached my goal and hopefully I'll have learned some super cool new ways of truly living this life that I've been gifted!

God The Father

I've always believed in Jesus, but it wasn't until I saw "Passion of The Christ" that His love truly came alive for me. I've always known God The Father existed, but never had a relationship with him. These past four years have been eye opening to me about the Trinity in whole. My Father has been showing me a better way of living. Holy Spirit is daily renewing my garden (heart, mind, and soul). And Jesus, daily leads to me to cross where his love poured out. What started as a spiritual journey has turned into so much more.

Every time I lock myself away in my room to pray, praise or read the bible I walk away with a new lesson. Each time God fills me with his truth. For many years I never addressed The Father because I had heard so much about him. They said he was harsh, judgmental, a killer and a bully. NONE of those things are true. God is exactly as Jesus is. Jesus himself states that if you've seen him, you've seen the Father. If you've heard Jesus you've heard the Father.

God is so loving and kind. He loves us so much that he allowed His beloved Son to come down and endure all the suffering, ridicule and torture he endured. God has made over 6,000 promises to us through his Word and God can NOT lie. He's forgiving when we do NOT deserve. He's gentle when we should be scolded. And he's the provider of EVERY good thing that's ever happen to any of us.

No God is nothing like others made him out to be. Every day He and I sit together and he expresses love in ways no one has ever done before. I know that I can trust him. I know that he'll never fail me or leave me. I know his hedge of protection is so strong that not even the mightiest demon can penetrate it. But the most important lesson I've learned is - He loves me. He loves me so much and He loves you just the same. We have a Lord who gave his life for us and He's worthy to be praised. But we also have an extraordinary Father who's loving, kind and gentle. And because of Him we were redeemed by Jesus, so praise Him just the same.

At The Feet of God #1

When I am sitting at the feet of God I express that I am expecting to learn from him today. God never disappoints me. He always goes a step beyond what I'm expecting! I hope this is of great help to all who read it!

- We must approach every being and situation from a space of pure love
- There are 2 paths in life - fear and love. Choose love and experience pure joy!
- God is LOVE and we were created in his image; therefore we are love and should operate from this daily
- Move through the world in compassion and understanding
- STOP judging others
- What you focus on expands (good or bad)
- Complain less and bless MORE
- Forgive others
- Daily ask God to help you be who He intends you to be

Someone may read this and think this is simple, but the truth is we do NOT do this enough in our daily lives. Everyday I ask God to change me into who He wants me to be. I am shown something that must first be changed in order for that to happen. Never do I feel God is picking on me, but instead I feel deeply loved that He takes the time to show me and teaches me how to achieve this.

Lessons From Proverbs #1

I'm a student of the Bible. I love to absorb as much information as God allows me to each day. I'm also a HUGE believer that we should all share the lessons we learn in life. I'd like to share a few things I walked away from reading Proverbs #1-6. Most of this stuff is very simple, yet we humans tend to complicate them on a daily basis. I hope this will help all who read it!

*All who listen to wisdom (character of God) shall live in peace, safety and unafraid
*If you seek wisdom you'll receive knowledge of God himself
*God is our shield, protecting us and guarding our pathway
*He shows us how to distinguish right from wrong
*Wisdom and Truth will enter the very center of your being, filling your life with joy
*Trust God completely. Do NOT rely on your own understanding.
*In everything you do put God 1st & he will direct you and crown your efforts with success
*Have wisdom - Knowing and doing right
*Do NOT be afraid, for the Lord is with you and He protects you

He's Waiting

I can only teach others from lessons in my life. For many years I wrecked my life. To others it looked wonderful. I knew how to camouflage it beautifully. Many believed that my head was on straight and I knew my way perfectly. The truth was I was a pure mess! Every decision I made was based on fear and in return caused great heartache. I had to be in control. I could not accept any position short of leader. Again, I was a mess!

It turns out I was my greatest enemy. Yes, Satan played a roll in my mess, but ultimately I was the ringleader. I broke hearts (including my own), I shattered spirits and I used sex as a weapon. I literally believed that sex equaled love!

I was completely broken wide open in 2010, but the cracks started formulating back in 2004. God was very patient with me. I must stress the importance of His patience. At any time Jesus could have said "No way! I refuse to die for her!" But in spite of my bad choices and my collage of sins he walked to that cross, tired and abused. He spread his hands and allowed nails to be driven into his flesh. He did that for me, in spite of myself.

Recently in prayer I wondered why and what I heard opened me in the sweetest way. God said, "I love you Tabitha and I have been here with you from the beginning. I waited on you because in my heart you are worth it. I have great plans for you and now you are ready to fulfill them."

If you think God is absent from your life think again. He's there speaking to our hearts daily. It's up to us to hear him. He never forces himself upon anyone. Although in my case I wish he had long ago. No matter what bad decisions you made, and no matter what sin you've committed God is waiting on you to call on Him. He's not waiting on the sidelines to point a finger at you or to shout I-told-you-so. No he's waiting to wrap you in His love, fill you with His Holy Spirit and guide you through the rest of your life in joy and in peace.

All you have to do is whisper His name.

Seeking God in Various Forms

Everyone has there own idea of how we should seek God. Some believe waking at 5 in the morning for prayer and bible reading is the way. Some believe siting in prayer for 3 hours is the way. Some believe journaling their thoughts to God is the way. The truth is ALL of those choices are great. There are MILLIONS of ways to seek God each day.

When you see a homeless being and you offer them money or a meal you have sought God. If you choose to go to church 6 days a week or your choice is to read devotionals in the morning you are still seeking God. My mom is the BEST prayer I know, but her way of seeking God is turning on her gospel music, hands in the air and praising God until she can no longer sing. This has been her way since I can remember.

Satan will enter your mind and remind you that you didn't read your bible first thing in the morning. We as humans become guilt ridden and try to play catch up. Whether you read your bible first thing in the morning or right before bed somewhere in between I'm sure you found a way to seek God.

My days vary because God has blessed me with so many options. I always begin my day in prayer. I also love listening to teachers such as Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer and Joseph Prince. I prefer reading my bible after 12 noon. I can't really say why it's just what feels right to me. I listen to praise music, meditate, write to God and pray more. Daily it is different, but it all leads to one thing - Me seeking God and His presence.

Never let anyone's ideas of seeking God be your idea. Seek Him in YOUR own way. NO Way is Wrong!
If your objective is to spend time with him open, honest and in love, then whatever way you choose will lead you right before him.

Clarity in Prayer

When I was a young girl at night I would say the "Our Father" and ask God to bless the homeless, sick and the dead. As I got older my aunts and my mom taught me that I could talk to God just as I spoke to them. For me that made prayer more authentic and open. Now when I pray I ask God lots of questions. I figure who better to teach me than the creator of the universe.

As we all now know the enemy attacks the minds of Christians daily. He loves placing fear based thoughts into our minds. During my prayer time/bible study with God He's been revealing a great deal to me. I'm a huge believer in sharing ALL that God teaches me. We can't do better until we know better.

Over the past 4 years I've been hearing and reading "Faith comes by hearing." I've found this to be so very true. The more my faith increases the more satan tries to attack. At one point I was believing God to do something and satan would say "who are you that He should do this for you." "What if He can't or won't?" For a brief moment he made me feel bad for believing what I believed. I started to think "I'm being arrogant to think I deserve this." Of course I saw what was happening and turned to God. He in turn taught me some valuable lessons.

Lessons:

1. Satan has NO authority nor power over the life, mind or body of a child of God
2. It is NEVER wrong to expect God to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond in your life. It is actually a requirement!
3. Confidence & Faith in God is Believing without Doubting
4. It is NEVER wrong to have EXTREME Confidence in the Lord
5. Believe you are victorious Especially when you are facing troubles
6. NEVER be afraid to Believe!
7. Come into agreement with God about EVERYTHING even when you are unsure
When troubles manifest KNOW that Jesus has already defeated it and He has the answer
8. When you enter God's Rest (you no longer worry and you expect God's goodness) satan can't attack your mind.

I pray that these lessons will bring peace and joy to anyone reading who's being attacked in the mind. We do not have to submit to the thoughts of the enemy. Our Father is stronger, bigger and wiser than any demon. When you follow Jesus and completely depend on Him you begin to find a greater peace (mentally, physically and spiritually).

Taco Bake

Hi There Lovelies!

I found this recipe on YouTube and I HAD to try it myself. It's called Taco Bake and it was very yummy.

Ingredients:

1lb groundbeef (I used 2lbs to have left overs)

1/2 pack of taco seasoning

1 can Sloppy Joe sauce

1 can corn or frozen (optional)

chopped green onions

garlic powder, onion powder, accent, and Italian seasoning (eyeball it sweeties)

1 pk of biscuits

shredded cheese

Directions:

Cook ground beef. Add sloppy joe sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, accent and italian seasoning. Add corn and stir. In a baking dish (7x4) add taco meat. Sprinkle cheese evenly. Place biscuits on top and sprinkle more cheese over biscuits.

Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

Heavenly Butter Gravy Chicken

OMG! I can not express how delicious this meal was.

I'm usually not a huge fan of gravy that is NOT brown,

but let me tell you I am sold!! Again, I had to share it

with you beautiful souls. I hope you'll try it and ENJOY!

Ingredients:

Chicken (whatever is your favorite part - I used 18 chicken wings)

1/2 c water

1 1/2 c evaporated milk

1/4 c butter

2 (10oz) cans cream of chicken soup (use less if using less chicken)

Green onion

1/2 c all-purpose flour

Garlic powder, onion powder, salt (to taste), Italian seasoning, and thyme

10oz Pasta (of your choice)

Directions:

In baking pan pour butter to coat bottom (don't use glass). In a large container mix flour, and seasonings. Use 1/2 c evaporated milk to dip chicken in, then dip chicken in flour and place in baking pan. Bake in oven on 425 for 30 minutes.

While chicken is baking mix cream of chicken, milk (do not use milk used to dip chicken), water, and seasonings (careful on the salt). Whisk until smooth and sit to side until chicken bakes.

When chicken is done turn chicken over, add cream of chicken mixture and bake an additional 30 minutes on 425. After plating top with green onions and ENJOY!!

Orange Chicken

Princess Charlie is a huge fan of orange chicken and for the longest time I've wanted to try my hand at cooking it. It turned out to be an amazing dinner, so naturally I had to share it with you all!

Ingredients:

Chicken (you can use whatever part you like)

8oz Orange Juice

1tbsp Honey

1/2 tsp Onion Powder

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1 Green Onion Stalk

Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix Orange juice, honey, onion and garlic powder and set aside.

In a large skillet brown chicken thoroughly

Once chicken is browned add orange sauce

Cook until chicken is completely done

If mixture is too thin mix equal parts (1tbsp water with 1tbsp cornstarch)

Pour cornstarch in slowly while stirring.

A Lesson From God

I want to start this out by saying I NEVER desire to place my opinions upon anyone. When I am trying to learn something new I go directly to the source - God. Over some years I've heard many religious leaders teach on "Fearing God" and let me tell you they succeeded. I was so afraid of God I wanted nothing to do with Him. Jesus, I loved and adored, but I stayed my distance from God based on what I was taught.

Since 2008 I've been learning God's Truth. Each day I humbly ask God to teach me himself and he has. I wanted to know the truth about fearing God and the following is what HE recently taught me.

The Fear of God:
What it is NOT: God does NOT desire us to be afraid of Him. When you are afraid of something or someone what happens? You try to avoid that person or situation at any cost. He does not EVER want us to avoid or run from Him. His heart yearns for us to RUN to him every day of our lives.

What it SHOULD BE: We should respect God so much for what He did for us that NOTHING within us will allow us to sin or cause harm to anyone, especially God. Our love for God should be so great that the very thought of hurting or dishonoring God should break our hearts and STOP us dead in our tracks. What we should be afraid of is hurting Our Father or doing anything that could take us out of His Hedge of Protection.

God promises he'll never abandon nor fail us, so we can rest assure on this. God will NEVER leave you and He is QUICK to forgive. Gos is NOT a bully waiting to pick on you each time you mess up. He's NOT plotting to destroy your life the moment you make a wrong choice. God is the absolute opposite of a bully! He's loving and kind. He's merciful and generous. He's fair and forgiving.

If you have God in your life or you want God in your life the ONLY thing you should be fearing is stepping outside of His will for you. If you are not sure what God's will for your life is I lovingly suggest you ASK Him. I promise He WILL answer you!

Revelation: each day God fills us with His nature and goodness (peace, joy, love, mercy, kindness and wisdom). We do not have to ask for these things, for God gives them to us freely everyday. But, we can activate them in our lives by believing, relying and depending on God to lead us through each one. Depend on his ability and strength alone and you'll never go wrong.

Lord, I Refuse: *to turn away from the bible
*to be lead astray
*to mistreat and manipulate others
*to live my life in fear and unbelief

Lord, I Choose: *to uplift my family Your way

*to follow Jesus and obey His every word

*to love and inspire others

*to believe your EVERY word

Father, I'm Grateful:

-Miracles and restoration are taking place today for millions of Your children

-You hear the cries of ALL who are hurt and lost

-The Blood of Jesus is upon the heads of ALL God's beloved children

-Your love conquers all evil and sin

-Laughter and joy will invade the hearts and homes of ALL

Seeing God in Everything

Last night while watching "Our America w/Lisa Ling" one of the nuns she interviewed stated that we will never be able to be in one designated place at all times to be in God's presence. But we can choose to be in His presence right where we are. I choose to do this every single day and recently (during prayer) I asked God and he explained what being in his presence means.

It means: being conscious that God is with you wherever you are, loving those you don't even know and fully understanding just how deep His love is for you.

You are in God's Presence:

*when you are alone praying
*when you walk and see trees standing majestic and strong
*during praise and worship
*when you hear children laughing
*when you see clouds floating by and they seem to say "look at me"
*when unexpected blessings fall before you
*when you pass a beautiful garden and it commands your attention
*even in your sleep
*when someone expresses love towards you
*when you express your love toward others

Father, I'm Grateful:

*You love us in ways no one will ever match
*You'll never leave nor fail us
*Your goodness & mercy will follow us all the days of our lives
*You are the creator of Heaven, Earth, Me & All Children of God
*Miracles will take place in the lives of those who need them today
*For every soul that will be won over to the kingdom of God
*For Jesus and his phenomenal and unfailing love
