Windows Server 2008 Hosts File

Just a quick note about editing the host file in Windows Server 2008. If you try to edit it through Notepad, when you save it you'll get a "location not found" error. Trick is to right-click and open Notepad "As Administrator" and then open Hosts.ini. You're welcome. :-)

Sitting in my hotel, high on the 21st floor with the windows open, and the Upper West side has just erupted in cheers and honking horns on the street as Obama is projected the winner by CNN. At this moment it sounds like a party has erupted in the streets below. Surreal. UPDATE: Can't even get a call out on the cellphone now. Crazy!

Wedding Anniversary - 3 Years

It's official. I now have added an iPhone as my main cell phone. While I loved Windows Mobile, I figured I could broaden my programming skills while seeing what all the fuss is about. I'm now integrated with my new Flickr account as well, so you'll see the pics immediately on my site. Oh, the phone is pretty sweet!
