Objective

This workshop will build on your solid professional ethical foundation and focus on applying ethical decision-making. This workshop is audience driven, using a variety of case studies from public practice, industry, government and the not-for-profit sector.

Who Should Attend

All CGAs are required to take a minimum four-hour verifiable business ethics workshop each three-year continuing professional development (CPD) cycle.

Content

Participants will review emerging issues in professional ethics, including any recent changes in The Code of Ethical Principles and Rules of Conduct (CEPROC) that will help participants avoid real-life ethical problems. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss ethical challenges with other CGAs. This workshop qualifies for the four-hour ethics requirement.

* You must bring a current copy of CEPROC, as you will be referring to it throughout the workshop.

Please note: New graduates are required to take the one-day ?The Essence of Professionalism: Ethics, Rules and Standards for new CGAs’ for certification.
