Alright I have had about 24 hours of gameplay so far so its about time to write a review for you guys.

Borderlands is an FPS/RPG hybrid by Gearbox Software. Takes place in a Mad Max futuristic style setting. The graphics are cell shaded, but still look really good. They have randomized loot drops for weapons (ive read theres anywhere from 200,000-10,000,000 combinations of weapons)Which is a blast if you are a loot whore like I am. Theres also 4 player co-op via xbox live with drop in/drop out capability which is really nice. This game is great, I havent been able to put it down since I received it. Its like Fallout 3, World of Warcraft and Diablo 2 had a love child.

I cant say this game is for everyone though, if you don’t like grinding out levels this game is not for you. For me the Co-op is where the game really shines. The more players you have the better the loot and harder the enemies you get. The game doesn’t have alot of narrative which can make you feel a bit…bland at times, but its not to horrible. The Audio sounds great, and the game has the same control setup for the Call of Duty games. The Menu navigation is pretty good, when you play split screen though it is a pain. The fact you cant choose what type of split screen you want(vertcal or horizontal) is also a bummer.

Basically my quick run down is this. If you are looking for a good 4 player co-op shooter/rpg, this game is for you. I personally think the game is amazing, and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves being released so close to a big RPG and FPS (Dragon age and Call of Duty). If anyone else has played this and would like to add to my review feel free to do so!

9.5 out of 10 and my vote for Game of the year.

Alright so I have been playing this game for about a week now, so I figured I had enough to be able to write a small review.

Scribblenauts is a puzzle game where solving the puzzles is completely open to your own imagination. If you think that flying a helicopter over the bad guys to get to the goal is the best, then go for it. If you really want to get interesting though why not summon a zombie to attack them and turn them into zombies, then wipe them out with a shotgun?? All you have to do is type in the word and you have the zombies, helicopters, or god.. (oh yeah)

There are so many possibilities in this game that it is quite mind boggling. I mean I have seen Scribblenauts dictionary…and its ridiculous. There are so many words in-fact I would like to challenge someone to use them all in this game. Most of the puzzles I have solved involve God, a chain and possibly an animal of some sort…..wow that just sounds so wrong when you put it like that.

Anyway this game is great, well worth the 30$. If you like puzzle games, and have a pretty good imagination. Get it you can spend hours trying different things to solve the puzzles.

All in all this game is worth the purchase.

According to IGN the developer states that it is possible for the story-driven good versus evil game to have 5 titles released. Starwars pulled off 6 titles, do you think Bioshock could do the same? I hope they don’t water the game down. The first one was excellent and I will definitely be buying Bioshock 2 later this year.

Anyone hear anything on a release?

Hi Guys,

Renegade Kid, the guys behind Dementium: The Ward, are releasing a new game for the DS, called Moon.
It’s a first person shooter developed to push the DS to its limits; loads of detailed environments, deep exploration and some shooting to boot!!

IGN rated it 8.5 saying ‘Renegade Kid’s latest offering is one of the best in its class’ which is no mean feat for the team of 6 who made it!
