One very important ministry of our church is our well-established K–12 school Calvary Christian Academy. CCA has provided an excellent Christian education to the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area since 1972.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to millions of children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God's love.

We will once again be filling shoe boxes, so take advantage of the back-to-school sales and begin collecting small items for your box. CBC's goal is to fill and send out 60 boxes this season, including the shipping costs for each box.

This year Samaritan's Purse has something new for you.  You can download these All About Me coloring pages to send with your shoe box.  This way you can tell the children who get your boxes all about you, and show them how far the box traveled to get to them.

Here at Calvary Baptist Church, we will collect boxes through Sunday, November 15.

This year our choir performs "A Song Was Born at Christmas," a powerful celebration of Jesus' birth through several new and familiar songs, on Sunday, December 13.  The program begins at 10:45 a.m.

Adults and teenagers in the 7th grade and older are invited to meet each Sunday afternoon to work on the Christmas program.  Rehearsals will be 4:30–5:30 p.m. in the choir loft, and run from September 27 – December 6.  Child care will be provided during choir rehearsals.
