Memphis Grizzlies Advance To Western Conference Finals After Beating Oklahoma City Thunder

Its a done deal for Memphis Grizzlies!. Grizzlies advance to Western Conference Finals after beating OKC Thunder at Game 5 of their series by the score of 88-84 Wednesday night.

OKC's lose is very much evident and expected with the performance of their star player. Kevin Durant didn't shoot that well at their home court. It feels like he is undergoing a severe pressure that made his shooting a bit tight that night. KD managed to score 21 points with a miserable 5 of 21 shooting (one of the lowest percentage of his pro league career). According to a Fantasy Basketball bloger and analyst:

Kevin Durant had a rough night shooting the basketball, as it looked like he played with the weight of incredible pressure on top of his shoulders all game long. He ended the game by scoring 21 points on 5 of 21 shooting, which ranks as the third worst postseason performance of his NBA career. On top of that, Durant missed a 16-foot jump shot with six seconds remaining to tie the game.

If Kevin Durant didn't shoot that well, it's a different story for Memphis Grizzlies superstar Zach Randolph. Z-Bo scored 28 points (led all scorers of both team) with 14 rebounds. Mike Conley contributed a convincing 13 points and stellar 11 assists that gave Grizzlies this Western Conference Finals appearance.

The Oklahoma City Thunder is the most favored team to win the at the WEST. OKC is the top seed team entering the playoffs but faith has changed after Russel Westbrook got injured. This lost of OKC just made the fans and critic thinks that without Westbrook (and some also thinks of Harden) at KD's side, OKC won't win any championship game.

Memphis Grizzlies is now waiting for the winner of San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors series to determine who will become their Western Conference Finals opponent.

Truck With LPG Tanks Explodes In General Trias, Cavite, Explosion Caught On Cam [VIDEO]

A truck carrying LPG tanks exploded while parked at a certain LPG refilling station in General Trias Cavite. The said explosion happened around 11:00 A.M of Saturday (April 27, 2013).

According to the initial report, the truck loaded with LPG tanks exploded while inside the refilling station. Authorities are still determining what caused the explosion and figuring out the extent of the damage. No casualties are reported as of this writing.

The explosion caused huge alarm to the community. Ambulance and fire trucks are immediately dispatched to the scene to control the situation. Here is a video clip from a witness of the explosion.

Because of this incident, the locals of the community immediately recalled the explosion that happened to The Star Maker Factory in Trece Martirez city wherein there are 5 confirmed dead and several people are wounded.

This is not the first time that an LPG tank explodes in Cavite. Last 2010, a delivery truck carrying LPG tanks exploded in Carmona Cavite. It causes massive fire around the nearby houses causing deaths and injuries at people around the area of explosion.

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire Jr. loss via unanimous decision (judges scored it 114-113, 115-112 and 116-111) to Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux during their WBO/WBA junior featherweight title fight that took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

This won fight of Guillermo Rigondeaux ends Nonito Donaire's 30-fight win streak.

According to boxing analysts Nonito Donaire and his team will surely go back to their drawing board and maybe plan for a possible rematch as soon as possible.

Man Faces 10 Months Jail Time Because Of His "Tweets"

Abdulla al-Hadidi, an Abu Dhabi man was sentenced with 10 months jail time after his tweet about an ongoing trial concerning his father and few more others.

The prosecutors accused Abdulla al-Hadidi of "overthrowing the government". Aside from that, the prosecutors also believes that the accused is "connected to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood" (which is prohibited in UAE).

According to the United Arab Emirates justice department (via a certain news agency):

"He published arguments about court proceedings and circumstances surrounding the arrest of the accused with dishonesty and bad faith"

That said jail time because of anti-government tweet raised concerns to the public, especially the Human Rights Watch group. They say that Abdulla al-Hadidi is a government critic and his sentence of 10 months jail time for a tweet comment is an attempt of the government to "hide the trial from unbiased international observers and journalists".

This is not the first time that a person is sentenced and sent to jail because of a twitter comment. Over a year ago, a Kuwaiti man was sentenced with 10 years of imprisonment for Twitter posts insulting the rulers of Gulf allies Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

North Korea Sets Missile Into 'Firing Position'

The recent move by North Korea forces might be a sign that the war between them and South Korean/USA forces is about to happen.

According to sources, North Korea already raised one of their missiles into its upright firing position. It's a clear sign that a missile launch is imminent.

This kind of action from Kim Jong Un (Supreme Leader Of North Korea) military forces makes the situation even worse. It raises grave concerns from the public and the rest of the world who is closely watching each and every move (and words) NoKor is doing (and saying) nowadays.

Setting their missile into a firing position escalates the tension even more after Kim Jong un warned diplomats about their security and safety in the capital when April 10 comes.

Countries surrounding North Korea already placed their own artillery that can shoot down any kind of missile that threatens their countrymen's lives and cities.

For South Koreans, this threats and words of Kim Jong Un is becoming part of their daily lives and for some its "really normal". They learn to live daily without worrying about NoKor and Kim Jong Un words taht threaten their lives.

Saudi Man Ali Al-Khawahir Sentenced To Be Paralyze

This news that break out in the Middle East sparks uproar to some human rights group. They call this Saudi paralysis sentence "outrageous," "torture," adding that it "should on no account be carried out."

The rights group Amnesty International has condemned the Saudi court sentence that orders "a man to be paralyzed as retribution for having paralyzed another man".

According to the Saudi Gazette, 10 years ago, Ali Al-Khawahir (the suspect/sentenced to be paralyzed) stabbed and paralyzed his best friend. Ali Al-Khawahir is 14 years old back then and he has been in prison ever since. Last weekend, the Saudi court sentenced him to be paralyzed if he cannot pay the amount of one million Saudi Riyals ($266,000) to the victim.

"Paralyzing someone as punishment for a crime would be torture," said Ann Harrison, Amnesty International's Middle East and North Africa deputy director.

3 Tarlac, Philippines Cops Suspended Over "Cops Beating Man" Viral Video

A video showing 3 uniformed policemen beating down a civilian man in public has gone viral and draws massive attention via the internet days ago. This video is a clear proof or evidence, according to netizens and human rights group, of police brutality.

That video made Senior Supt. Alfred Corpus, Tarlac police director, to order administrative actions against PNP personnel namely Police Officers 2 Ritchel Antonio, Gerardo Bermudez and Fernando Acosta.

The 3 named cops are suspended from their duty and placed under restrictive custody while the case is still on process.

“We guarantee to the public that the PNP will not tolerate this kind of behavior of our men. We will do a thorough and fair investigation of this incident,” said Chief Supt. Generoso Cerbo Jr., PNP spokesman.

According to Cerbo, its better to wait for the result of the investigation before applying the necessary action for that incident. He added that it's difficult to know what really happened first before and after that video is recorded. To add more, one policeman at the said video also filed a complaint or case for direct assault and physical injuries against the unidentified man in the video.

"The moment of explosion and destruction is near". This is the statement that Kim Jong Un, the North Korea dictator and young leader wanted to prove to the world.

With his recent nuke and apocalyptic threats to the US, Guam and South Korea, the tension escalated to its highest point. The US Armed Forces is taking this Kim Jong Un’s threat in a more serious manner.

North Korea missile launch may be imminent, according to South Korea's security official.

A top source and official of South Korean national security said that North Korea may test-launch a missile this week. Kim Jang-Soo, chief national security adviser to President Park Geun-Hye, said that the missile launch might occur before or after Wednesday which is the exact same date which North Korea has suggested diplomats to leave Pyongyang or North Korea itself.

"There are no signs of a full-scale war as of now, but the North will have to prepare for retaliation in case of any local war," said Kim.

Diplomats fears that this statement will escalate more the tension and it can go out of control. That Kim Jong Un threat forced the US to delay or postpone an intercontinental ballistic missile test to avoid further tensions with North Korea.

Japan orders shooting down of North Korea missile

The Land Of The Rising Sun is feeling the heat and the tension between North Korea and South Korea/USA as well. This is why with the recent turn of events, Japan ordered its own military forces to shoot down any missile that is headed or will pass by with its premises or territory.

Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera issued an order that will move Aegis destroyers equipped with sea-based interceptor missiles at the sea of Japan, the defence official said.

Brian Viloria failed to defend and retain his WBO and WBA Flyweight belt, Saturday night (April 06, 2013) at his match-up with Juan Francisco Estrada at the "Fist of Gold" boxing event held in Macau.

The Hawaiian Punch loses his belt or crown via a heartbreaking split decision loss after 12 rounds of boxing. Two judges scored it 116-111 and 117-111 for Estrada. The other remaining judge scored 115-113 for Brian Viloria.

Brian Viloria's opponent, the 22 years old Juan Francisco Estrada is clearly a dominating force that night showing his fast moves and furious punches.

Estrada uses his speed and reach advantage to unload volume of body punches against Viloria. On the other hand, Viloria was unable to give his power punches because of the great defense and reach advantage Estrada has. Brian Viloria manage to get in close combat with Estrada at the later rounds but his performance and punches that night wasn't enough for him to retain his title.

After winning the fight, Estrada was asked by the reporters and boxing analysts around about his future plans. He stated that he is really looking forward for a possible quick rematch very soon.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently unveils his very own Facebook Phone and not all people are pleased about it. Some says it didn't meet the kind of standards and technology they expect from the social networking giant.

Facebook phone is powered by its own software called Facebook Home. Facebook home converts any kind of Android handset into a fully integrated Facebook Phone. It puts the Facebook logo and website right at the Android phone's HOME screen and makes all their product visible and accessible at the forefront of the phone's UI. Simply put, Facebook Phone is not another brand of phone. It's a software that turns existing Android powered device into a Facebook powered and centered phone.

Here is the reason why Facebook opt to choose or create a software than another brand of phone that can compete with Apple, Samsung, Microsoft and Blackberry.

A great phone might sell 10 or 20 million units at best. Our community as more than 1 billion people in it. Even if we did a good job selling a phone, we would only be serving 1 to 2 percent of our community and we want to do more than that.

The above statement came directly from CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the launch event in Menlo Park.

Facebook Phone (Facebook Home) made its very first appearance with HTC device which then called the HTC First. The design is very simple and the specs is quite acceptable.

Golf Digest will feature the beauty and prowess of The Golf Channel's Holly Sonders at the next month (May 2013) issue.

The May 2013 issue will have 35 pages of tips and tricks on how to get the best golfing shape. It will feature photos of Holly Sonders working her body out to get the perfect golfing shape. Aside from that, it will also feature tips from Rickie Fowler, Mark Wahlberg and Jason Dufner.

Holly Sonders can be regularly seen at The Golf Channel's "Morning Drive". Holly Sonders also works at "School of Golf" from time to time.

Finding Dory, Finding Nemo Sequel By Ellen DeGeneres

It is official and it is confirmed that Ellen DeGeneres' voice is going to hit the ocean again with a sequel to the hit animated movie "FINDING NEMO".

Disney (Pixar Animation unit) officially announced (April 2, 2013 Tuesday) that Ellen DeGeneres will do the Finding Nemo sequel "Finding Dory". The target date of the movie release is Nov. 25, 2015. Although the public have to wait for 2 more years to see the film, the fans of Ellen DeGeneres, Nemo and Dory are pretty excited about it.

Finding Dory picks up a year later wafer the turn of events with Nemo at "Finding Nemo,". The story line is about forgetful fish Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres) and her nice quest and adventure to reunite with her loved ones.

Aside from Dory, "Finding Dory" also includes familiar names and characters including Nemo and his dad, Marlin. They will be joined up by new animated sea creatures and characters.

Shain Gandee Buckwild Star Found Dead

Authorities confirmed it that Shain Gandee, the 21-year-old star of MTV's BUCKWILD is dead.

Shain Gandee's body along with his uncle David Gandee and another man's body were found Monday, April 1, 2013 near Sissonville. According to witnesses and authorities, they were last seen around 3 a.m. of Easter Sunday at a certain bar in Sissonville. Before they left the place, they told other people that they are going to drive "off-road".

Authorities received a certain call stating that a vehicle was found wrecked in a muddy area near Sissonville. That vehicle, a 1984 Ford Bronco belonged to the Gandees and inside of it are 3 lifeless bodies.

Authorities told the public and Shain Gandee's immediate family that no foul play was suspected.

Shain Gandee is one of the young stars of MTV reality TV series "Buckwild".

Google did it again! Making fun and interactive, almost believable page (for some) and April fool's day prank for everyone to check out.

Google Nose is the 2013 version of April fools day prank of the search and internet giant Google.Com. Try and smell the new page via this link: http://www.google.com/intl/en/landing/nose/ . When you click that link, you will be taken to a page similar to the image below.

Then click Try Google Nose! You will be taken into a Google Search result page wherein you will be given a random search result for a random SMELLY term. On the right-hand side of the results page, there's a description of the term from the so called "Google Aromabase". At the Aromabase, you have the option to TRY and SMELL the nice scent. When you click the SMELL button, a message will pop up saying "Bring your nose as close as you can to the screen and press Enter." A progress bar with a virtual smoke will appear indicating that the scent is transmitting.

Game Of Thrones season three is officially here. Here are few recap, images and review about the season 3 premiere: Valar Dohaeris.

Jon Snow, at the season 3 premiere, is now at the enemy territory. Ygritte made way to make Jon meet wildlings leader Mance Rayder. Mance Rayder seems to like what Jon did at the past by killing Qhorin. So it was a good meetup for Jon and he is now at Mance Rayder's side.

Davos, despite being loyal to Stannis, found himself a prisoner after the failed attack with Melisandre.

Tyrion Lannister stripped of his title as the Hand Of The King. His request of Casterly Rock was negatively taken and denied by Tywin, his father.

Dani Allen won over her co-finalist, Francelina Morillo, at a 1 pound margin at the last weigh in that dictates the winner of the Season 14 of this longest running weight loss show on TV.

Dani Allen enters the competition weighing 258 pounds and she ended it convincingly at 137 pounds.

According to Dani Allen, she feels like she was the GIRL ON FIRE that finale night and she is pretty correct about it. Dani wowed all the viewers with what she considers her fire dress that looks so sexy and hot on her.
