Lenovo has a 3-day ‘scary’ sale on now, which gives 30% off configurations of $1499 or more, 15% otherwise. The coupon code is CAPSCARYDEALS and the link is here. I have tested this coupon code with the T400s and it works, which means you can get 30% off the T400s (a pretty sweet laptop – about 4lbs in weight but the same size screen as the normal T400).

They still have (until the end of today) the sale on the T series, which also gives 30% off the T400s on configurations over $1350 (20% otherwise). But with the coupon code above, you can carry forward the savings another 2 days. That sale can be found here until the end of today only. The discount code is CAPTSERIES30OFF.

While this is a good deal, it wouldn’t surprise me if they have a better one before Christmas-time still. I would guess that the reason they are trying to get rid of these ones because in the new year new stuff becomes available (such as the T410, T410s, all which have been more than just rumoured – see here – the new Calpella platform).
